Close to amenities like restaurants, grocery and liquor store and waterfront. Enjoyed the deck and shared patio for a quiet outside place to sit with a drink or to read. Loved a unique breakfast each day with allowances for our dietary restrictions. Super coffee using the French press… yummy cookies. Nice artistic aesthetic touches in the room, and extras available like books, puzzle, cards. Lovely shower and warm floors. High class!

Nothing really disappointed us.

The room was large, clean, and quiet. The whole atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing - there was a feeling of luxury without being ostentatious about it. The shower/bathroom area was separate from the sleeping/living area without intruding one one another. The furniture is comfortable and just the right size and amount for the place. The breakfast bento is original and perfectly composed. The whole thing is simple and delightful. I would be over the moon to have a chance to stay there again.

Really nothing. I wish I had had the time for another night or two. I guess the only half-hearted complaint is that my wife could not figure out the shower controllers had a lukewarm shower.

The room was very comfortable and well appointed, the only drawback being that it had no view except a bit from the porch but it was too cold to sit outside. The provided breakfast was awesome and very well done. We were very tempted to try out the top rated restaurant, but after taking into account cost of meal, plus wine and gratuities, decided to allocate those funds elsewhere. Maybe we will try it the next time

We loved the style and comfort of the room. It was cozy and clean, a pleasure to stay in. The bento box breakfast was a clever and delicious way to serve, and to have this in our fridge when we were ready to eat was lovely. Also loved the daily fresh cookies! I loved sitting on the small deck with a glass of wine and the hummingbirds all around. Truly magical.

Not much, just the loud music coming from next door (which we had been warned about). It was fine as long as windows closed but just weird how long it went on for, even on a Sunday night.

this small resturant/hotel with 4rooms is an absolute gem. the room we had overlooked the garden area with its own balcony the room was superb very modern with a fantastic bathroom superbly comfortable bed, we had dinner in the resturant on our 2nd night (of 2) and wish we had booked the two nights, the food was fantastic. the staff were excellent Ucluelet is a small town on the west of the island but well worth a visit with a lovely harbour area and a superb rainforest boardwalk not far away. would stay here again, this is a superb small hotel with excellent food.

NOTHING SUPERB!!

Food was good, but not for breakfast. Salmon and boiled eggs are not something we eat for breakfast. Everything tasted fine. The room was excellent and very clean and comfortable.

The breakfast food choice was not the kind of food we eat in the morning.

Beautiful rooms, great attention to detail in everything. I loved the selection of books about Ucluelet, the little monster toy welcoming us. The coffee and tea in the room was delightful, as was the bento box breakfast everymorning.

Absolutely perfect location, right in the heart of town and walking distance to everything. Incredibly spacious and comfortable. Everything worked perfectly and they had thought of every detail, from mozzi spray to coffee in the cafetière and beach towels.

Nothing it was all perfect

Unfortunately we stayed there the last night they were open before they closed for the season. We wanted to stay another night but they weren’t open. They welcomed our dog, had treats out, a bed for him, a special blanket and dog bowls. It was New Year’s Eve and they even provided a small bottle of champagne, on the house, for the occasion. If you went to a bigger city you’d expect to be easily paying upwards of $450 per night, if you were lucky, I know because I have. If they have a vacancy I’ll absolutely stay the night again.

They didn’t have enough staff to have the restaurant open for our stay. We were very disappointed as we read they have amazing food.

Beautiful room, thoughtfully decorated with art by local artists. And great attention to detail - we really appreciated the locally-sourced products, the very helpful information/instructions, and the exquisite breakfast.
