The location of the property is perfect for getting around the local area either on foot for local amenities, or vehicle for further afield. The Pacific rim route to Tofino is only 7km away and has superb beaches and trails along its route. Tofino is very busy but the place to go if you want tours to see bears and Wales etc. Ucluelet has plenty to offer and the small harbour with free parking is great for eateries and generally just chilling out. At the far end of the town is the lighthouse trail which is well worth doing. Parking gets a bit tight during the day, but evening or early morning are not so busy.

The motel has changed its name to WILDWOOD INN. The steps to or from the upper floor have plenty of tread but very little riser which in wet conditions are a bit dodgy.

Clean room. More spacious than most motels. No stovetop, but had counter top space above the fridge to prepare cold meals and a table and chairs for eating. Recently renovated, nice smart TV. Shower had acceptable (though not amazing) water pressure, and had a telephone style shower head which you can hold in your hand, which was nice. Location is good, short walk to many restaurants, to a laundromat and to the harbour and aquarium. Price was better than most of the other accommodations in Ucluelet on the days we stayed.

Pillows were a little thinner than I prefer, but still fine.

The room was recently renovated so all of the furniture was new and very modern. The room was clean and had a microwave and a small fridge. It also had a big TV. The bathroom was clean and had very modern fixtures and had bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to use (smelled very good!). Our room was on the upper level. The property is located close by to many restaurants (Shipwreck Pizza) and a grocery store (Co-op Food Store) is only a 5 minute walk. The staff were friendly and even let us check in a bit early! I would definitely stay here again!

The location was perfect. Rooms were nice, updated, and very spacious too. Austin was absolutely amazing! He was so kind and helpful before we got there and during our stay.

The only thing I would say that wasn't perfect was I don't believe the hardwood floor was washed before we got there. The bottoms of our socks were dirty after walking around for a bit.

The new refurb was fab! Everything was so clean and fresh! Was prime location for trail walks, food and shops. Staff were super friendly and loads of parking at premises for free.

Only thing would be toilet moved where it was properly secured to floor. Not a major thing but definitely something to bear in mind. Can hear the noise of people walking up and down outside

This a small complaint, one that is common among hotels-the TV remotes. There are two remotes, one for the TV and one for the cable/satellite box. There are never instructions and so one has to figure out what combination of the two make things work. Like I said, it’s minor, but it’s irritating after a long day of travel.

Convenient location, close to boat launch, hiking trails, grocery store, coffee shops and restaurants. Very helpful staff, very clean room, very comfortable bed. Lots of clean towels.

I think privacy blinds would have been better for the ground floor rooms, they have sheers with blackout curtains, but these make it too dark for daytime.

The bed and pillows were really comfortable. That place was very clean and specious. Room 210 Great location walking distance to everything.

We were there for the half marathon and I asked for an extension of our room. It cost me $20 more which is OK but my friend who stayed at another resort nearby Ask also for an extension of her stay to be able to take a shower after running they said yes definitely with no charge.

The updated decor is very tasteful and serene. The hotel is within walking distance of many places to visit in Ukee. The service is impeccable. I love the bathtub and happy to be able to enjoy local hand made products.

It rains a lot this time of year in Ucluelet, so it's wise to have alternate activities to stay inside.

The room have just being renovated. Its well done, clean and you got everything that you need. For example, since its a surf / beach area, you have a clothesline in the bath. It's little details like this that make the difference. We went off saison (january) and the price was really good for that room.

I would appreciated more electrical outlet accessible close to the bed.
