This facility is tailored made for those who are self-sufficient and need the basics. The beach is phenomenal in any weather and the location is within easy reach of Tofino and Uclulet as well as the various old growth forest and beach locations.

About the only item missing was a pack of bounty for the drier - but in fairness I never asked and this might have been available from the front desk.

A very comfortable apartment with amazing beach at the doorstep. Beautiful lodging in a beautiful setting. Beds comfy, well fitted out kitchen, luxurious bath. In suite laundry was a bonus.

Its a long walk from the parking area to the apartments. Carts are provided but need to be returned to reception. We didnt mind but it might be an obstacle for some

The Cox Bay Resort Sign is visible only after driving past the entrance sign on the highway that is shared with another resort. Any small sign placed in advance to sort this out for a driver would be certainly reduce the irritation of having had the “having to turn back around” experience. Drivers know they are not to blame for the bad planning.

Upgraded to a 2bed loft suite due to roof repairs. Lovely full kitchen with full gas oven

Wasn't aware efore hand that you had to use a cart to get your items to your room as no vehicle assess near units. Perhaps I missed that mention on their website. Not practical for elderly or those not fit enough to deal with wheelbarrow type cart and relays up stairs.

Great space, wonderful to walk out on the beach and get the sunrise in the morning. Very friendly and helpful staff. Some construction roofing work taking place during the day, but it was not invasive at all, and I was working remotely during the day. Super happy with our stay here

The hot tub doesn't get particularly hot. More of a luke-warm tub.

Very nice apartment hotel near the Coc Beach. We were located in the apartment beat the beach which was a great advantage. Comfortable bed and quite big bathroom and kitchen area. We didn’t use a hot tube as you need a key for it and works only during the reception hours. Generally I looked this place a lot.

Just right besides of the beach, and the facility is clean and organized. Also the bedroom is luxury and the bed is so clean and comfortable. All the equipments are well managed. The sauna is great!

The parking lot is separated from the unit. So we need to use the wagon or buggy to carry all the baggage.

Wonderful stay. Room was spacious and clean. Had everything we needed to make use of the kitchen. Staff were great, very welcoming and organized. Loved Ham at the front desk. Only downside was the mattress on the pullout couch wasn’t very comfortable, otherwise 10/10

Fantastic location and the Lounge/common room is top notch

The light outside the front door doesn’t have an on off switch and shines into the bedroom all night so the only way to turn it off is to unscrew the bulb which we asked to be done but it didn’t happen so we had to unscrew it ourselves

We had a wonderful stay at Cox bay. The unit had everything. We needed including beach towels and all the kitchen equipment. We had a sick baby and the staff was super accomodating to help with our needs.
