The place was clean and well organised. It was equipped with everything we needed, just right. A lot of motels nowadays miss common sense items like bedside lamps, but the Dolphin had it all: the lamps even had built in charging ports. Smart! The kitchen was beautifully stocked with everything needed for basic cooking. The beds were clean with adequate blankets and extra pillows. The host family were very friendly and warm. I feel like they’ve been there for a long time. There is a grocery store a few minutes away on foot. We recommend the Dolphin!!

It’s a highway side motel. Don’t expect a great view. However it’s surprisingly quiet considering. Also it’s old. It’s not modern and sleek. Expect that and you won’t be disappointed.

Staff was friendly. Great location, clean room and washroom, they even provided towels, an electric kettle, coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. No, it’s not a luxury hotel and it’s perfect if you’re going to enjoy nature and beaches. Mattresses were super comfortable. Walls are a bit thin and noise so bring earplugs, it’s close to the road so you can hear the traffic. I will definitely go back there again!

The host was very nice and welcoming. The beautiful Chesterman Beach was in walking distance and so was a food court with a bakery, an ice cream shop, a bistro (burgers and very good fish) and surf renatals/shops. It is a bit outside of town but in July/August there is a free shuttle bus stop right in front of the motel going to the center of Tofino. Also, there is a daily room service if required.

The place was directly next to the highway and thus pretty loud. The bed was quite small, uncomfortable and loud, too. The room was also very small.

They upgraded me at no extra cost due to another client extending their stay in a room i had booked. Was a very kind gesture. The bed was one of the comfiest that I have ever slept in! Really good bang for your buck.

The only criticism was the shower. Small shower head and the water pressure was very poor.

Close to good restaurants and grocery store and easy access to downtown Tofino. Extremely well equipped kitchen. Friendly hosts.

Could use a small nightlight for the bathroom. Bedroom and bathroom doors were tight when closed and made a lot of noise when opening in the night.

This motel was cosy and clean and the bed and pillows were quite comfortable! The location is the best! Tacofino is a 2 min walk away and chesterman beach 10 mins. Quick 5 min drive into Tofino. Will definitely stay here again!

Felt very safe and cosy, close to beaches and short drive/cycle to Tofino centre - and great value for money.

Not much. Quite basic, but to be expected given the nature of the property.

The property was very clean and easily accessible since it is on the highway. There are picnic tables set right outside your room which gives you the option of enjoying the sun or having your meal right there.

Although quite dated our accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Great location as only 2min drive into Tofino itself and also close to beaches and rainforest walks.

The bed was very comfortable. The bathtub could have done with another bar but the bar there was helpful The kitchen well stocked except need a new large fry pan and a sharper small knife, appreciated the extra bar for electric plug ins
