We absolutely loved our stay at Mackenzie Beach Resort! We stayed in an old trailer that has been completely renovated, and it was perfect. The trailer had a patio with a table and chairs, a propane fireplace, and a cedar soaker tub—a real treat to relax in at the end of the day. Inside, the kitchenette and fridge were just what we needed, and we appreciated the towels provided for both the soaker and the shower. Everything was spotless and smelled like new. The staff was always around, taking care of everything, and the ladies at the reception were so kind and accommodating. We would love to come back!

I’m so happy we found this place! It exceeded our expectations and was perfect. We stayed in the Modern Suite and it had everything you needed. The outdoor space and amenities were wonderful, the location to the beach was great, the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The place was clean and modern.

The only feedback would be to have more airflow in the suite. Maybe a fan or something? The first evening was really warm. We ended up leaving doors open for airflow and coolness but there are no screens and didn’t feel very secure sleeping with wide open doors.

This is possibly one of the best holiday parks we’ve stayed at. Right on stunning Mackenzie Beach - what more could you want?! The accommodations (we stayed in a self-contained unit) are fresh, modern and groovy with the sweetest outdoor hot tub, fire pit, shower, festoon lighting and landscaping. So pretty both before and after dark. The bed was super comfy and the indoor shower and shower products were a treat. Staff were friendly and the coffee at the general store was delish. Plenty of free-to-hire activities as well. There’s a nice restaurant in the resort next door if you prefer to keep all in easy walking distance, but Tofino is also walkable along a dedicated path or a quick drive.

Unlocking the doors is not as straightforward as just turning the key!

Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen; clean unit.

Knowing how to turn off the outside decor lights as they shine through the window coverings all night; better info about the heating system- I read the sign to use the block heater, which didn’t keep the unit warm enough; recessed light on the right side of the bed didn’t work and the “blinds” are not good in the airstream I stayed in. (Better in a different unit I stayed in before) Ripped blind at the head of the bed and no way to secure the bottom of the blinds to keep them from gaping with the acception of one or two in the kitchen that had magnets. Bring your slippers, the floor is cold in the fall!

We stayed in an airstream and loved it. This is pretty cool in its own, but MBR’s renovation of their airstreams is really well done and very clean! The private and covered patios and cedar hot tubs are charming and luxe. We found the bed to be goldilocks for us - not too firm, not too soft. I would absolutely go back and seek to stay a few days. Lastly: you can’t beat the beach! A 3 minutes walk and easy to pop back for your ice cold refills.

Not a dealbreaker for us: but know that the shower is petite.

The modern cabins across from the airstreams were perfect! They were comfortable and came with everything one should need! The coffee they supply is soooo good we went to town to buy our own to take home. Also loved the scent of the soap they provided.

The road construction but that was not the property’s fault and just an inconvenience but nothing more. And the chair that was outside for us to use broke and sent my husband crashing into the metal wall behind him, hitting his head quite hard. the weld broke on both the legs and he had quite the wreck. He is a slender man so his weight was not the issue. Pls just check all your chairs. And possibly some sort of apology and a new chair would have been appreciated when we notified the young lady at the front desk. He was offered a free coffee as compensation which I felt was a little less than satisfactory considering how much a night stay is. All in all I’m just grateful nothing other than his ego was injured.

2-4 min walking distance you have the closest beach "mackenzie beach " and 5-10 min driving distance you can get to the town or the near by beaches " long beach" , "chesterman beach" , "cox bay beach ". Parking is very easy. The resort well organized , clean. Room super nice , comfortable bed , bright .

I liked the privacy , having my own patio in front of my room , the opportunity to make campfire , to be very close to the beach. To have my own parking lot in front of my property. The kitchen well equipped with the necessary things. Very king and friendly staff . Mini bar fro coffee , tea , sandwiches , croissant .

Super cozy stay in a very well equipped trailer/camper. Nice bed, pretty spacious and with built-in speakers. Had basic cooking condiments including oil(!), which is very nice since you don't want to spend money on stuff like that for such a short stay as a lot of it then gets wasted.

Cleaning could've been better, there were cobwebs over the bed which could've easily been removed with a duster. Ours came with a bathtub which could've been nice but with how it was set up it was difficult to take a normal shower without water getting everywhere. Our bathroom door was insanely squeaky to the point that there was no way you could sneak to the bathroom in the evening/night without waking up the other person, just a super annoying sound to have to hear so often in the day in general and it seems like an easy fix. WiFi was super inconsistent and couldn't really be relied on for work or general streaming.

Clean, modern containers. Kudos to the decorator! Its small but everything is so well thought out with quality finishes. Property is well-maintained. Easy access to Mackenzie beach. Comfortable bed, coffee with press (much better than those coffee pods that are everywhere now) and small kitchen unit equipped with some essentials and small fridge, small but lovely bathroom with heated floors. Adequate storage. Our favourite part was the semi-private deck. It had an outdoor shower, propane fire, bbq, table and string lights. Excellent place to hang out and breathe in the fresh ocean air.

Gravel roadways so you can hear every car and pedestrian and there is a fair bit of traffic. Units get hot at night so we had to open the doors. I'm sure the ceramic heating above the bed is perfect when its cold though.

great location for sunsets and central to beaches and the town. The place itself was well set up and the outdoor fireplace, bbq, and hot tub and everything you needed for a short stay.

the room itself was quite small so not much space for luggage, and the bedroom and backyard space was pretty exposed to the road so people could see in. Would have liked a bit more privacy but wasn't that big of a deal.
