The rooms and hotel are beautifully decorated and furnished! I appreciate the attention to detail, you won’t find one blemish and if you do, I’d be willing to bet the hotel management will correct it. We loved the complimentary, and easy, parking. Their program to enter and exit the building and your room is very cool as well - It’s all controlled from your phone! The hotel reception were absolutely delightful!

If you are a bath snob, do yourself a favor and upgrade to a room with a freestanding tub! The tubs in the studio rooms aren’t made for a relaxing soak. I’ll definitely book the deluxe room next time :)

Overall cleanliness and appearance/decor of the hotel and room was excellent. The kitchenette was a great feature - we had breakfast in our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location within very short walking distance to local restaurants and shops. Easy access to local trails. Short drive to Blue Mountain Village/Ski Resort. We would definately stay here again and recommend it.

No complaints. Just a couple of very minor things. The incense in the room was very overpowering and not overly pleasant to me - I had to store it under the kitchen sink. I think they should have carpeted the hallway because the sound of people walking and the cleaner's cart rolling on the floor was a bit loud.

The cleanliness, location, reception staff and facilities in the room

I asked for two fresh cups. Although it was delivered to me, the staff let me know that there is cleaning liquid which I could use to clean the cups. It made me feel, I should not have asked for fresh cups (it somehow looked too much to ask for) Also, I will be honest, I did not spend $300 for a room where I have to clean the dishes myself. I do that at home everyday, I would not want to do that in a hotel where I want to spend a night as a vacation. Apart from this experience, everything else was perfect

Parking is tight…if you have an suv or larger vehicle you need to be careful! Really wish they offered heated floors in the bathroom as the floor was super cold. It’s great that there’s a small kitchen with a fridge… and kettle but next time I’ll select the room with the larger fridge/toaster and microwave…😊 The Tremont Cafe is superb. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

First time that we encountered having to use our phone as the key to the hotel doors and to our room. It's not that we didn't like that but that was a learning curve for us and the staff was very dedicated to make sure we knew the process.

there was no breakfast at the hotel. restaurant only open for supper. easy to get to restaurants for breakfast cross the road and maybe 5-10 minutes away . this was not a problem. we would certainly stay at the dorchester again and again.!!!!

I booked this stay as a wedding present for my niece. Correspondence with staff via email was excellent and they arranged for roses to be in the room. The bride and groom loved their stay and recommended it for future trips

Watch the little step onto the floor landing if you use the stairs and not the lift, bad trip hazard

We loved the location, which was downtown Collingwood. It was away from the hustle and busyness of Blue Mountain, but still in a close distance if we wanted to visit. The rooms were luxurious, clean and cozy.

Nothing, the stay was perfect and to our liking. The only thing that would have made it better is if we could have stayed longer, as we didn't want to leave.

Stunning decor mixed with historical charm

The automated checkin. 4-11 seems a bit short of a stay and everyone arrives at the same time. Perhaps guests could be offered 2-9, 3-10 or 4-11 as options. This could work for housekeeping I am sure.

The hotel was very clean, the kitchenette was well equipped, and the staff were very friendly. The room was quiet, and the record player was a nice touch.

The bed and pillows were too soft, to the point where our backs were sore the next day.
