We stayed in the executive suite. It was quite large with a beautiful view. The kitchen and living area were both expansive with everything you might need including a wood fireplace which we took advantage of. The Kitchen is well socked with everything you might need including a large wine fridge. The bedroom was large and comfortable with large windows and also a great view of the lake. The bathroom was also large with heated floor, defogging/steaming mirror and a large shower. The owner/operators of the facility were very friendly and engaging. They provided assistance promptly when needed. Hiking in Arrowhead Provincial Park was amazing.

Some of the Pots and Pans are dated and need to be properly maintained or replaced. Handle and lid screws required tightening as did some of the bathroom drawer knobs. Simple things to do and check to improve the quality of a stay.

We had an unforgettable stay at Fairy Bay Lakehouse in Huntsville! The location is absolutely stunning, offering serene lake views and a peaceful atmosphere. We went for the more expensive option as we wanted a kitchen and washing facilities since we have a baby with us. The pictures don't do this place justice, we had a huge bedroom with the biggest bed I've ever seen, shower room, massive family kitchen, 8 person dining table and sitting area all to ourselves. The view of the lake is beautiful. You can help yourself to canoes, kayak and the SUP, there are also some floaties for kids and you can swim in the lake. There are BBQs and fire pits and a kids playground. If you go for the cheaper rooms then you get an ensuite and large bedroom but you share communal sitting area, dining area and small kitchenette (no stove just microwave and fridge freezer) so BBQ is your best option in summer. There are no clothes washing facilities for the cheaper rooms but there is a launderette nearby. The area is lovely, Huntsville is a lovely town which shops and restaurants, there is a metro supermarket close. You can easily drive to arrowhead or Algonquin provincial parks. The staff are lovely, super helpful and friendly.

The kitchen could do with a few bits and bobs and extra cleaning equipment such as washing liquid, broom, cheese grater etc. The floor got a bit dusty from the balcony door and we didn't have any way to clean it ourselves and they don't do turn down service so it just stayed a bit dirty the whole time but that's a very small issue. Beware if you come in summer there are a few mosquitoes and biting black fly....but no where as many as in the parks if you were camping so just be prepared for nature if you stay somewhere in nature.

Loved the private beach and kids' play area. Loved sitting at the beach in the early morning. Very serene and peaceful. There was a lounge for everyone to use for eating which was nice too. Owners provided slippers for everyone to use so floors would remain clean.

Our apartment was in the basement. We didn't realize this when booking. There wasn't a lot of room for kids to play in the room. The boats provided were a bit unsafe to use, as we saw other guests using and they kept falling in the shallow water. Would be nice to have assistance and onsite lifeguard.

although travelling alone - a huge suite, large living room and wood burning fireplace, huge dining room and table & kitchen with gadgets galore all looking out over the water. Deck & bbq. However only one master bedroom with beautiful water views and super comfortable. Better for entertaining company rather than having all the family bunking in.

Took a while to figure out all the lightswitches. Could not figure out how to turn up the volume on either tv - almost inaudible, perhaps for noise concerns but almost a waste of time even tho access to a lot of streaming channels

The location is fantastic. We liked this better than the larger hotels and resorts that we have stayed at in Huntsville. It feels more like a cottage than a hotel. Deer outside our window in the morning mist, catching decent fish size right from the dock, free canoes, kayaks and SUP. Generous common spaces and a quiet atmosphere. You have to remove your shoes at the front door. Bring indoor shoes or slippers.

Shower pressure wasn't amazing, but likely adequate for most. We are used to high pressure at home.

We stayed here as a convenient location on the way to a canoe trip in Algonquin Park. It was clean and comfortable, with nice waterfront facilities - beach/dock for swimming, various watersports.

Would be more convenient if breakfast was offered but we found a good option. The lake is quite built up with traffic noise- this was fine for us as it was just a night's stop, but I wouldn't personally pick it if I was choosing a lakeside lodge for a longer stay.

I would stay here every week if I could. Even though we arrived late and there was no one at the front desk, getting into our room with the instructions and the key was not a problem. The property looked nice and clean in the pictures, reviews said the bed was comfortable...well, everything was much better. Though our windows did not offer a clear view of the lake, it felt great to be in the middle of the trees! The bed was spacious and comfortable, although the pillow was a bit flat for me, but I managed to put two together and slept like a baby. The room was spotless, not a trace of dust. There were amenities like muffins, fruit and coffee pods in the room. There was no breakfast service. The small beach has a few Muskoka chairs and a designated spot for making s'mores, plus we were able to enjoy a canoe ride on the lake in the early days of fall! The staff member at the front desk was extremely helpful and kind and let us leave an hour later than the check out time, so the experience was fabulous, hope we can come back soon :) I highly recommend the place.

Conveniently located near Huntsville but it still feels like a quiet cottage with its own lake. The staff was very friendly and waited for us to arrive until early evening so they could welcome us in person. We went on winter, but I hope to go back there in summer or fall.

Some areas like the reception area and the common kitchen could be tidier and cleaner.
