Fabulous relatively secluded location on Oxtongue Lake just off Hwy 60 and only 10 minutes from the west gate of Algonquin Park. Well stocked trading post store on site. Owners were very friendly, engaging and supportive. The cabin was extremely clean and well appointed. Grounds were beautiful, well maintained and offered excellent facilities. Lovely beach suitable for swimming and lots of various watercraft available for guest use. Private but communal if desired. This is a real find...a little gem in so many ways. Highly recommended!!

Nature, nature and one more time nature. Very close to Algonquin Park that we loved. It is a must see. The owner is super nice and takes a very good care of the place. There is also a shop where you can buy some food and drinks or souveniers. There is also a beach at the lake with lots of equipment to enjoy the lake. We liked our little cottage no.2, it was perfect 2 people for 3 nights. We had everything that we needed. But for a longer stay I would choose a bigger cottage.

That we had to clean up the cottage on our check-out day.

The private little cottages were made and designed with lots of love. Well equipped kitchen (all you need for cooking was available), free Kanu & Kajak rental and games on the private beach. The owners are very friendly and caring.

You need to know in advance that you should bring your own towel or rent them for a fee and that you need to clean (vacuum & empty trash) the cottage on check out day.

Very nice spot. Beautiful lake, beach, facility. Very clean. Bedding was SO fresh smelling for entire time there. Smelled so nice! Cozy.

Nothing really to report. I'd maybe suggest a lamp or something for a wee bit dimmer lighting in the living room for the evening versus having the bright ceiling lights on. When getting comfy and cozy.

Very friendly and helpful at check in and with questions throughout our stay. Coffee and most food supplies available at the store. Free use of kayaks, canoes and SUPs which are located right by the lake.

Remember to pack insect spray. There are many insects in the area, also if going hiking in Algonquin National Park (Is also available in store if forgotten).

Great property! We stayed in the winter cabin and it was amazing! I cannot recommend this stay more - the owners were lovely, very communicative and caring, and they went out of their way to make sure our experience was enjoyable. My family and I cannot wait to return during the summer months!

We liked everything!
