The hotel is on the outskirts of Hunstville, so its a bit far to walk into the high street but easy by car and there is plenty of parking. The location is great for getting to Arrowhead Provincial Park, only about 10mins to the entrance (and a nice drive to Algonquin too). There seem to be lots of long term stays in the building (people coming for work), so there is a good kitchenette with fridge/cutlery etc. The room was very big and spacious, with nice bathroom and large, comfortable bed. Small gym and pool, but gym seemed popular and reasonably well equipped. Breakfast was very good - a buffet with fruit/yogurt/waffles and you can make your own egg/bacon roll etc.

Breakfast was very good, and we appreciated the free coffee and tea station 24/7. We made use of the pool, which was a perfect temperature. Location was great for driving to Arrowhead Provincial Park, which was the main purpose of our trip, as well as proximity to downtown Huntsville (by car). The amenities in the room made it great for a family stay, as we were able to store food and prepare some simple meals in the room.

My only minor complaint was the drain in the bathroom sink needed to be cleaned (I noticed this when I was brushing my teeth) and the room didn't come with any hand lotion, which I hadn't packed because hotels usually have this in the bathroom; but not a make or break!

We stayed on weekdays(Oct 14-16) after everyone is coming back from their Thanksgiving weekend because weekends are just the busiest everywhere in Muskoka. So we used their facilities with almost no one else around. We don't like it when it's too crowded. We chose the perfect days and perfect timing. We bbq outside and used their grill. It was unfortunate there was a bit of rain they didn't turn on the fireplace outside.

The breakfast was open only a short period in the mornings. People were clamoring for it. There are a few selections of breads and bagels, fruits, juice drinks, oatmeals, and yogurts. I wish they could increase and expand other types of breakfast selections and make it available until 12. Also, the pillows in the room need upgrading. Or better yet, bring your pillows from home. The ones they have are almost flat to my liking. The cleaning staff are great. But they won't clean the room until you check out. So, if you like your beds made or floors vacuumed every day with fresh towels delivered, this may not be the hotel you would fancy.

Surrounding area is still under construction. Hopefully when it's done it will be well insulated so the atmosphere is elevated outside. This is just an observation not a dislike. We were quoted on paper a price for extra nights stay, next day we were told manager would not approve the cost and refused to book at that price. Oddly enough a different manager did approve an extra night stay at that cost. It was a hassle and stress unnecessarily.

The location was nice and there was ample parking. Check-in was effortless and staff were very courteous, even though some clients were obviously rude and being unreasonable. The room was clean and tidy. We also liked the shops around and there were many places to eat in the vicinity. The breakfast was standard.

The wifi didn't work for us, even though we entered the information given. Also, a minor thing but staff were touching meat and non-meat food stuff with same prongs. This is important for vegetarians.

The room was spacious. Friendly staff. Several extras, including a Nespresso machine in the room. Nice to have proper dishes and dishwasher. We asked for additional items from the breakfast area which they sorted after our stay. Plenty of parking.

The settee was not comfortable - very hard surfaces for back and seating. We stayed 6 nights and some breakfast days were better than others. We had to arrive early to beat the rush of group bookings that stayed there different nights.

Free parking, ease of access from nearby roads and businesses and comfortable rooms. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The potholes in the driveway are like the surface of the moon. The breakfast line was long because being Canadian, everyone politely waited their turn until an employee would yell out every once in a while that the line is only for the pancake machine then the line would dissipate. A simple sign would avoid all this.

Location was good. Beds were comfortable. Room was a good size. A few items were missing in the room but the service was quick when asked about them.

The main complaint was the breakfast. It was not hot. Although they tried to have a variety, what was out was not in a warming tray and was cool and rubbery. Very disappointing. Would have liked some hand cream and regular tea and coffee.

We loved the facilities in the room, how clean everything was and the staff were so so nice and very professional. We used the pool which was fab and the breakfast was decent. Beds were comfy, great shower, liked how we could control the temperature in the room easily, and that there was a great table to play cards on with our friends. The price was amazing!

Nit picking a bit but the breakfast potatoes weren't very good. We had only three pillows on our bed, we probably could have called down to reception for another but we felt it was a bit late to do that! Otherwise, everything was great.

I really liked the idea of fresh coffee and hot water for tea 24/7. And free apples in the front desk. Breakfast was a typical , free one. Would add some granola (you can mixed them with yogurt). Really liked the breakfast serving area. I like the fridge, microwave and set of dishes in each room, but I would not call it kitchenette as there is not even 1 electric burner. It was also hard to warm up the soup in microwave (no proper container) and serve it (no ladle) Location of the hotel is perfect if going skating to Arrowhead Provincial Park ( 7 min) or skiing at Hidden Valley ( 10 min)

For breakfast- not too many choices for healthy breakfast:( I found stud earing at the bottom of the pool- hurt my foot. lots of hair in the pool. I would prefer check out at 11am , 10 am with breakfast is too early.
