Our cabin #4 was perfect for the two of us:) Very clean, fully equipped with deck, bbq. Loved the fact that we were so close to the lake, view is beautiful, beach is clean w lots of fun water equipment to use (canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, water trampoline & paddle boats:) on land games to use too! We met a few chipmunk friends each morning too while having our morning coffee’s. We will do again😊

There wasn’t really anything that we didn’t like, but perhaps the bathroom fan always clicking on (& loud) with any kind of movement as you got nearer to the door!

The proximity to the park was the goal for us. I'm a photographer so up and out early. The place was very clean, newer, and well equipped. Nice and quiet for our two nights. I'd say they could put a door mat at front door (it's winter and messy). There is a boot tray which was great. We had a dog and dog towel so we were okay and careful to dry her paws. Otherwise you're right onto the flooring and carpet. A roll of paper towel would be great! And perhaps more info on website about coffee machine details. Filter type etc. We took instant and survived. Lol. We'd go back. 😀

Would love a wood burning fp!

The location is good for visitors of Algonquin. The equipment inside the cottage is not brand new but still satisfactory. Very good price.

The bunk bed is not real bunk bed. Just put a single above a double bed without fixation could still be risky.

The location was great, just 10-15 minute drive from Algonquin Provincial Park West Gate, and right next to the lake. There was a private beach as well. Each cottage had allocated parking space. The owners were very helpful; they helped us with arranging vehicle permit to Algonquin Park, they also provided us with information regarding more local tourist attractions. The cottage itself was cosy, but had everything we needed for a short stay. WiFi and TV worked fine. There was fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a cooker (with all the plates, dishes, cups, glasses, pans, cutlery, etc. provided as well). There was a bathroom with a shower; the toiletries and the towels were provided, too. The bed was comfortable and the place was really quiet at night. There was no wardrobe, just a place to hang our jackets near the door, but there was plenty of storage space in three large drawers located underneath the bed. The cottage was clean.

The table was quite small due to space limitations (it looked more like a shelf really). Not a big problem for us, though, just something to be aware of.

Nice little cottages with everything you may need to make your stay enjoyable. Perfect specially for the little ones, with a great playground in the back of the property (bonus for the shadow, great for those sunny warm days) and all sort of beach toys. Parking was convenient and access to Algonquin couldn't be better.

Would have enjoyed management taking the initiative to light up a bonfire on the evening for all the guests to enjoy. It was available, but for guests to take care of.

The location near Algonquin Park and on Oxtongue lake is excellent. The kitchen is well stocked with all you need to self cater and has a gas barbecue. The cottage has access to free kayaks and paddle-boards and is next to a beach for the cottages with sun loungers and fire pits (you just need to bring your own wood). A park permit can also be purchased onsite.

The rooms are small but comfortable and the outside space and amenities are great.

The location is superb: close to Algonquin park, on a beautiful lake, and away from the 'busy' highway. It felt very safe and peaceful. The cabin was well equipped and very clean and comfortable. We were also offered access to kayaks, pedalos and paddle boards, which we gave a try and thoroughly enjoyed. We were there off-peak so no kids around. But there were plenty of games and activities for children too.

It didn't bother us, but the bedrooms are quite small/compact, which might bother other visitors. We had a 2 bed cabin, so we put our luggage in one bedroom and slept in the other.

The cottage was well fitted out and comfortable, and the kitchen area was well supplied with everything you could need. The Wifi was generally dependable, the water pressure was good and the water was hot. We had our own gas BBQ although we didn't get chance to use it. The water toys on the lake were excellent, freely available and we never had to wait to use them. Lots of loungers on the beach area, a fire pit, beach BBQ area, picnic tables, everything you could want. There were wonderful hikes all around the area.

We were disappointed that we were supplied with one towel each and that the towels weren't exchanged during our 4 night stay. The bedrooms were very small, a double bed in each took up almost all the floor space and we had to crab round the bed to move around.

The cottages are adorable. I was in a one bedroom. It has a fully functioning kitchen (bring all your groceries including butter, oil. And coffee grounds/pods. And a flat pan. Surprisingly no pan in the kitchen). It had really good heating. No AC but we didn't need it. No bugs inside. The veiw from the windows was a slice of heaven. BRILLIANT for kids. Two playgrounds, a library with toys, a lake opposite. Next to Algonquin so loads of fun trekking. We went when it was cold but they have paddle boats, and canoes and life vests. Honestly I am blown away by how entertained my 2 year old was in this resort.

It's not a deal breaker for me, but some others may find that there is no place nearby to get even coffee. Nearest petrol station coffee was 8 mins drive. Nearest Tim's was a 23 mins drive. Resort did have coffees pods for $1 but I was too scared to use their machine and break it. Haha.
