Hally Ho inn is an excellent location near Algonquin Park and huntsville attractions. This 4 bedroom house is spacious, clean and very comfortable for our large group. No view but there should have a lots of choice with lakeview within this lot. I am happy to stay here and I will come back again.

Only this bedroom house is a bit close to the main road Hwy 60 ...with some truck passing noise.. Next time, I will choose another house within this lots that is close to the lake and away from the HWY 60 . The boat rental close everyday at 4 .00pm. Hopefully , this can be extended to 6.00pm during summer time

Accomodation have everything you need and as describe online. Very clean and cozy room. We enjoyed the use of kayaks that is included as well as the use of volleyball. Love that the property have a small but private beach and also accessible to the public beach and boat launch that is only steps away. Kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. Check in and out is easy and staff are great.

wish there is no fireban so we can use the firepit to roast some marshmallows, but this is not the property's fault though. Would have made it more enjoyable though for the kids.

Nice property right on the shore of the lake which was iced over with a skating rink created. Good for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. Cabin was clean, fireplace worked well, small kitchen area well stocked with coffee mugs, clean-up essentials. Bed comfortable, nice bathroom with sink separated from toilet and shower area. Individual thermostat controls for each room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Pathways quickly cleared of snow. Can rent DVD player and borrow from big library of DVDs. Library books and games also available to borrow. Good location - easy to get to Huntsville or into Algonquin Park.

Main lodge is only for office and library, so no central area to relax in, other than your cabin - eg. no recreational activities like pool table or ping pong. No table in cabin to eat from except for coffee table, but also no room for one in "living room".

Good value for money! : My family had a relaxing and peaceful vacation. As other guests have mentioned, the property features a beautiful lake and is conveniently located just off Highway 60. I may consider visiting in winter, as the highway doesn't typically get icy. The staff members are very helpful and reliable. (The front desk personnel, the kind staff who has grandchildren, and the maintenance team!!!) The cottage is clean and warm. (There is a thermostat so we can adjust the temperature.) I was upgraded to a Maple View 1 cottage from Sunrise, which had a fantastic fireplace. (Fire pits outside are also good.) My family had a relaxing and peaceful vacation.

Read the description of your room carefully. For instance, my cottage did not include cooking utensils and a hair dryer, so I brought my own.

We were in cottage 7 which was away from the main complex. We were happy about this. Our site was private, peaceful and very tranquil. There were a few minor issues with the cottage, like blinds not staying closed, or going back up properly and also the satelite/cable did not work. These were minor issues which did not deter from our stay whatsoever. Overall the cottage, inside and out was spectacular. We loved it.

Again minor things; there were no paper towels, only found one dish cloth and tea towel, bath towels could be larger.

2 couples. 2 bedrooms. It was the perfect size for us. Fireplace was great. Beds comfy. Kitchen decently equipped. Could use some wine glasses! We loved the offleash fenced area for our dog. As did she! Staff were great and easy to deal with

They could definitely think of providing a door mat and a mop. Boot tray. Four of us and a dog and tons of snow. Slippery entering. Long tight hall. I had dog towel in car so it did in a pinch. Some of our pots hadn't been washed well. Previous occupants presumably. These should be checked more carefully.

Perfect location and perfect view! We were driving from one park to another without going far from inn. Major grocery and plaza is only 10 mins away. The room was near the lake and you can wake up in the morning with its view!

There was a misunderstanding with the parking. We thought the sign for No Parking was for non-guest from the back of the room. We followed the map from the website that says parking can be next to the room or in front the main office. I would recommend updating the website details to avoid confusion as the first line in the check-in message says "Here is a link to the map of Sunrise 5" which we automatically clicked and saw the map from the website.

Great location, lots of space to roam around, sit by the water and swim. Water was shallow enough that the little kids in our group could play and swim without the worry of them going out to deep.

Although we did love the geese that visit and enjoyed watching the babies, there was a lot of goose poop on the grass however it didn't stop us from enjoying our stay. Friends said the beds in their cottages were a little saggy in the middle, but ours were fantastic. Would have loved to have more toiletries provided given our lengthy stay. We were however able to walk up to the main office and request more.

We like the location and the property. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, and the staff is unobtrusive, with someone always being available whenever we needed to sign out a canoe. The range of activities we could do on the property meant that the children were occupied all day. We had forgotten an item at the cottage and the staff called us and let us know they would hold it for us until we picked it up. We appreciated that very much.

The kitchen facilities are unevenly distributed among the cabins, so we were surprised to find we had no kitchen space in our room. Fortunately, as we had come up with the extended family we were able to use their kitchen to cook and store some of our groceries.

The location is ideal - close to Dwight (and Huntsville) for grocery, and 25min from the gate of Algonquin. Le cabins are on the older side of things, but well soundproofed so even if people are chatting outside, I does not disturb people sleeping. The staff is very nice, and even for those arriving late, everything is made easy for people to access their cabin.

The cabins we had were a bit dirty when we arrived (quite some sand and dust), and it did not smell very nice in the cabin. Another annoying details, the door of the washroom/bathroom would not close fully (or would get stuck when trying to close with force.
