Room was clean and quiet. Heater worked well, plenty of hot water and good pressure in the shower. Second-floor room was pretty spacious, included couch, desk, and one queen bed. Convenient location right on the main street. Staff very pleasant, cheerfully allowed me to check in an hour early at no extra charge. Internet fast and reliable.

No access to ice until 8:00 a.m. Strong cooking smell throughout the parking lot; fortunately did not reach the rooms. No housekeeping service provided for my two-day stay, though additional supplies are available upon request during office hours. Television rather small, reception a bit spotty on a few channels.

We have stayed here a number of times over the years and have always found it to be good reliable accommodation. The property and rooms are clean and the location is close to a number of restaurant and a 10 minute walk to downtown. The rooms with 2 queen size beds are of good size and for the few dollars are a better deal than those with one queen bed and are quite small. The water pressure was fine and the drain worked well so there was no standing water while you were standing in the shower.

There were a few smaller things that can be improved upon. One of the lights over the bathroom sink was out and that made it hard to shave. There was no shelf or ledge to put your bar of soap and shampoo on which means you had to bend over and pick them up off the floor in front of the shower curtain. The curtain over the window when pulled across to cover the window was too short and left part of the window uncovered.

There isn't much not like about the Huntsville Inn. It's extremely clean. Beds are clean and bed bedding is what you would get in a 4 star hotel. Beds are extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend paying the extra $15 dollars and getting a room with 2 beds even if you're a solo traveler. I accidentally booked the room with just 1 bed and it felt very closterphobic for us, so we switched to a room with 2 beds. The washroom was clean and I mean CLEAN. The baseboards and corners are clean. The carpet in the room is clean and there's no lingering 25 year old dust anywhere. Could it use some upgrades...yes but it's definitely up to standards and I've paid more for rooms ( Holiday Inn / Monte Carlo ) and have gotten less. Definitely recommend staying here and if we are ever in the area again, this will be where I stay. We stayed at the Stays in Muskoka last weekend and even though the room was completely modernized and newly renovated, the beds were memory foam and awful and we paid 100 dollars more a night. I would stay here before rebooking there in a heartbeat.

A/C was loud and no low setting. It's either high and loud or off. I don't have much else I didn't like and I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to hotel/motel rooms.

Room was spacious, clean and modern. Young man at front desk was very accommodating. Bigger fridge with a freezer that could accommodate a big ice pack. Microwave available in the room.

Minor things. No hooks in bathroom or rod with hangers in the room. Walk-in shower (no tub) had no ledges to put soap on so soap needed to be placed on the floor ledge of the shower. The a/c was under the window and the curtains covered it which obstructed air flow. Had to stick one side of the curtain into window track to allow air to blow freely.

Large room, balcony, clean, very clean bathroom

We stayed at Huntsville Inn for 3 nights. We went to see a concert one night and drove around, exploring another night. The man who gave us our key was very friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for us! I soaked in the tub, we relaxed while watching tv. And the bed! The bed was so comfortable! We both slept very well. Thank you!

Very clean room, comfortable bed. It was great to have the mini fridge and microwave. Can’t beat the location. Heating unit worked well. Perfect for skating at Arrowhead for Fire and Ice night!

It was a little dated but it seems they are making improvements. The towels were in good condition. The bedding seemed a little older but again, super clean.

Location is fabulous we have stayed before as its literally a 2 minutes walk to the town centre and the bars and restaurants. Basic but clean and comfortable with excellent parking and friendly staff.

The motel was almost empty when we stay but they still put us on the 2nd floor? Was difficult dragging the cases up the stairs.

Walking distance to restaurants and mall. The microwave, coffee maker and fridge were nice to have. The TV had enough channels. Pillows and bed comfortable.

The bed spread had a stain. It was too heavy. Cold without and too hot with it. There should be a lighter blanket available. The shampoo was in a packet. Very hard to rip open. There should be a printed directory for the TV. It was hard to find what was on.

I loved that it is a well cared for Motel at a good rate in a great location. Value for money (off season rate) was the nest I have had. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Seemed to be a little grit on the bathroom floor (everything else was very clean)
