This hotel is a hidden gem in the Niagara area. Its location is just 10 minutes away from Niagara-on-the-Lake and 12 minutes from Niagara Falls. If you prefer a peaceful environment after exploring the tourist attractions, the South Landing Inn is perfect for you. We booked room number one, which consists of two connected rooms: one with two queen beds and the other with a king bed. This setup was ideal for us as we were traveling with a child. The hotel has been beautifully renovated, combining modern decor with the original charm. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and they even provided bathrobes. Both bathrooms were fully equipped with organic toiletries. Parking and breakfast are included in the price. Speaking of breakfast, it was truly spectacular and well thought out. The local chef prepared a delicious continental breakfast every morning, featuring freshly baked pastries and fresh fruit. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend this hotel. Can’t wait to come back!

Comfortable queen bed. Room had option to open windows or use air conditioner. Bathroom was a nice size and also recently updated. Newly renovated interior throughout the home that maintained the old house charm while still providing all the modern amenities. Close to the Jet Boat tours and some hiking trails, but not very close to the downtown area of Niagara on the Lake. Quiet neighborhood setting. All bedrooms were up a flight of stairs. Provided a good breakfast, which was self serve. Freshly baked quiche, muffins, yogurt, fruit, bread, juices, coffee and tea.

The style of the Inn is just unique and inviting for a calm chill out session in their common area. The breakfast buffet was amazing, each day something different freshly prepared. If you are looking for a luxurious hotel, this is not it- the Inn is peaceful and quite with newly renovated rooms, comfortable beds, a great bathtub and cozy room interior. Relax and enjoy the calmness that is setting in, with a short walk to the riverfront it is perfect for a retreat.

This place is stunning. Our room was very large, 3 queens and the second room was sunken bedroom with a gorgeous farm style wood door to give privacy. Staff were so polite and discreet. The breakfast was so yummy, quiche, scones tea and coffee and fruit. Snacks too!

Although delicious, there was not enough breakfast to fill up. We came down closer to the end time, and there was just enough for us to have one of the main item. Would’ve been nice to have a little more food available.

Staff was very nice. Also very helpful and accommodating. It’s a quiet and nice neighborhood. The hotel carries so much heritage value.

Could have choices of activities for the dwellers. I lived in a water cottage in Amazon jungle before, they have talks hosted by rangers, eco-researchers, native guides requested by hotel guests. Niagara is such a worlds big landmark and must have her own history, folklore or unique ecosystem that the guests are very interesting in knowing.

very very clean. awesome staff. breakfast was delicious. was 15 min to NOTL and 20-25 min to Niagara. if you plan on being only in NOTL then it could be a lot of driving back and first but the location for vineyards is wonderful. was quiet area . very accommodating staff . super comfortable beds and pillows. would stay again. Oh. we were given an upgrade too 😍

was a little warm in the room. AC has only an auto set but our settings still seemed like it was not as cool as the settings. need a fan in the room… also it’s nice to have a fan to cover any outside noise. And/Or a noise maker. A little more lighting in the parking area. I came in alone -as a female- after midnight one evening and would have appreciated some light in the parking area… it’s completely dark. But these are not deal breakers for this lovely remodeled property.

Delicious breakfasts and nice snacks. We loved the availability of a fridge so we could have our own snacks and wine and play cards in the sitting room The location was great! Away from crowds downtown but close enough to everything. Our room was spacious and the bed comfortable.

No assistance with luggage going up stairs. Footsteps of guests above us were loud.

We love everything!! It was my husband, myself and our 4 children ranging in ages from 15 to 7. We all LOVED staying here. It was just what we were looking for. The place was so well decorated and appropriate for the building, era oroginally built and general vibe of this area. The coffee and snack bar was perfect!! I kept telling the kids, oh my gosh, this is just the best, I love this place! Staff were so attentive. The rooms were so well kept, private and clean. We actually stayed an extra night and changes our trip a bit to do so!

Throughout our stay the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. In the morning the chef had made a beautiful breakfast that catered to everyone's needs. The whole inn had been newly renovated and beautifully decorated, making it feel very comfortable. We were invited to treat the space like our home, so we were able to relax in the large lounge and help ourselves to tea, coffee, and snacks. It's a great quiet location near the water, surrounded by a beautiful neighbourhood and park.

Excellent breakfast. Rooms were nice and comfortable. The common area was large and had a refrigerator and pantry that was very handy.

It was a bit far from amenities in Niagra-on-the-Lake but there was a nice bike route into town if you didn’t want to drive everywhere.
