Staying at the Travelodge was an exceptional value for the money. Not only did we get a comfortable clean room with two double beds and of course bathroom facilities, but it was well located for us traveling with two small dogs near a grassy area where we can take them out all of that plus free breakfast and a location in North Bay that was less than a kilometer from a wonderful Beach and little park where we could take the dogs and run around. It was really a good stay and I'd stay there again anytime

In order to have a pet friendly room, it seems we have to be near the ice machine and vending machines and in a way it was kind of funny because of course we had to sign a non-damage waiver for our pets that included acknowledging that our pets might disturb other people. But with the comings and goings at the vending machine, actually other people Disturbed our pets. Anyway, it wasn't horrible. We were still able to sleep quite well

Excellent value for money. Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed for 2 nights. The staff who managed the breakfast area on my first day (June 12) had done an excellent job. We were there from 7-7:30 am. All breakfast items were replenished promptly. Food counters and tables were clean and well-maintained. The next morning's breakfast, however, was not as impressive. People have to ask for more coffee and orange juice. So it was a bit of hit and miss in terms of staff services.

The room was just too dark at night. Pillows were lumpy and not quite comfortable.

This was my second stay here. The location is great, and the room was clean and tidy. The complimentary breakfast was decent, and the staff were very helpful. They kindly allowed us to check out at 12 PM instead of the usual 11 AM, which we really appreciated.

The Wi-Fi was very slow, making it difficult to video call or stream content on YouTube or Netflix. The TV was a bit outdated but functional. While we weren’t expecting a smart TV, having a Chromecast or Roku would have made the stay more enjoyable.

The staff was super friendly and made sure we knew they were available if needed. The room had an iron and ironing board as well as hair dryer to use. The breakfast was well laid out and enjoyable. The room was quiet. There was a chair at a desk area. They gave us a map of the town to find places of interest.

The only down side was that the room was a bit of a distance from the entrance and meant a number of trips back and forth to our car, but that can't be helped at all. It is just the way was with the location.

For a Travelodge, really appreciated that they made hot scrambled eggs instead of just cold boiled eggs, and also had fresh waffles you could make as well as fruit options, yogurt, cereals, bread options, & sausage as well as juice options, coffee & tea available. Breakfast was a welcome, pleasant surprise! Our room had a small fridge to keep cold drinks and keep our food cold for our canoe-trip the following days. Nice landscaping at entry which we could view from the breakfast room too! All the staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful!

No elevator, just stairs (which we can still manage in our late 60's); wished there was a closer entry to our room.

I stay there because it's a half way stop..going to Gatineau...and because of the casino ..beds are comfortable..had a few minor issues but the desk clerk was able to fix problem right away...and they always accommodate me...I like room on main floor...near the desk...

Updates good be done...some new white towels...new curtains...upgrade of the shower and tub faucets and shower heads...one thing they don't have is a disability entrance..with the push button...

Had a car issue and needed to stay 2 nights in North Bay (travelling from BC to Eastern Ont). Also travelling with our cat. Had stayed at Travelodge before. Pets stay free. Included a decent breakfast. Room was spacious, which was appreciated when staying multiple nights. Staff was good and helpful. Room clean and bed comfortable. Definitely good value for the money.

It was a bit far from the car dealership we were dealing with; but that wasn't a big issue in the end.

Great spot to rest your head for the night while passing though. Welcoming staff with excellent customer service. Comfortable bed, air-conditioning, fridge. Shower has very hot water. Eggs, sausage, coffee, waffles, yogurt, toast, cereal, juice, offered for breakfast included. Sunset Park and Beach is 10 min walk or 2 min drive.

Kids running in hallway at 7am. Air conditioning is loud.

Check in was easy and quick. It seemed a little tired but the room was clean and beds were comfortable. The shower had good pressure, good hot water and very clean.

Nothing that could be fixed, but we didn't realize there was no elevator, and we were on the 2nd floor. Sometimes my husband has difficulties with stairs. However, aside from that it was a good stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful never had a problem getting extra towels or soap.

Breakfast was an issue as when hotel was busy no room to eat and sign said don't take food back to your room. First time I experienced this as people were sitting on fireplace stairs etc. We were forced to go out and eat not impressed at all about this.
