The motel location was very close to a high traffic road which made it easy to find. However it was difficult to go for a walk. All I had for breakfast was coffee and it was fine. The housekeeping staff kept the room very clean. All staff were super friendly.

Some of the exterior of the building could use a little work ie the picnic table and flower bed retaining wall. The small floor mat inside the front entrance was curled up on one side causing a tripping hazard.

The property worked well for our needs. We were not expecting much as just needed a rest stop for sleeping purposes. We were there to attend a wedding. Very good for the price. The front desk staff (sorry forgot his name) was excellent and gave suggestions on where to go which worked out really well for us. He also brought back out the hot water, cream etc. to make a tea when I missed the continental breakfast. BTW, the continental breakfast had great hours so that was on me. The others in my family did partake of the breakfast and said it was very good for the value. Toast, fruit, able to make own waffles, yogurt and juices etc. Brother said the only thing missing was hard boiled eggs to make an egg sandwich would have been excellent but all were happy. Coffee apparently was really good as well. The beds were very comfortable, the water was hot even after many guests would have used theirs too. All of us were quite happy with the stay. Definitely would stay there again.

A little bit more cleaning would have made it 5/5. I had to pull out the bedside table for a plug for my charger and definitely gets missed. Underside of the shower bar is getting pretty rusty so all the hard work on the renovations are going to go flat pretty quick. Just thought I’d add that as it was a really family friendly hotel and wouldn’t want to change it.

breakfast was typical of many motels I have stayed at - nothing fancy but quite adequate. The bed was quite comfortable and air conditioning worked well. The shower water temperature was very good and the pressure was as well.

They are using Roku for a streaming service for their TV which did not provide regular TV programs from local stations such as located in Ottawa. I would have liked a comfortable chair to relax in - instead of the 2 kitchen chairs.

This fantastic hotel was one of the cleanest places I've ever stayed. Staff were polite and catering to my every need and the check in process was sped up by checking in through text. They even accommodated an early check in. The breakfast was delicious and the beds dreamy and comfy. Nothing but good things to say! Thank you! Great little city to explore!

Nothin negative at all

Breafast was very good thank you. Room was nice and clean. Owner was friendly.

Needs an arrow or sign pointing to the stairs. My mother stayed here for a week last year. Thanks to the Homeless Prevention Program. Everything was great till check out time. She was a little slow leaving the room and even after the cleaning lady told her it's ok take your time. A man I'm presuming it was the son of the owner told me he was going to phone the cops on her and throw her stuff outside in the winter. My mother was 65 at the time and homeless due to an incident at home. She was very upset and crying. And at one time owned a time share at Wyndham. Not a nice way to treat the elderly. She has put this incident behind her because she is a forgiving person.

The rooms were very decently sized and was clean. The staff were very welcoming. The location was also good with Tim Horton and other food options available in a short distance.

Nothing as such. The breakfast was basic in nature and can be improved in future. But no complaints as it was as advertised.

The room was separated from parking by hallway. Very very quiet. Large room, clean. The heat/fan/air hardly made a sound. I’ve already rebooked. Variety of foods at breakfast. Pleasant helpful staff.

I’m returning with my dog and I know they need to charge $20 for some dogs. We are neat and clean and I’d like to see repeat customers have this charge waived.

The staff were helpful, friendly and professio al at all times. No issues or complaints. The facilities were as anticipated. Good value, spacious rooms, and quiet.

The room coffee was a poor quality product. Needed to have 2 or 3 to enjoy a little caffiene.

Loved the easy access to let the dogs out to use the washroom. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. A great spot to stop and rest for the whole family! Looking forward to stopping in again.

There was a couple outside the motel smoking marijuana who had a dog with them & the dog would bark at us when we arrived & when we were leaving.
