Bed was comfortable and location was convenient. A great breakfast was included. Staff in the morning and at check out where great and friendly. They made the rating as high as it was.

The room (on the 2nd floor) was to have a river view...if you were planning on sitting out and looking at the river and share a beverage...it couldn't be done. All you saw was the roof of the rooms below. Check in was delayed but staff at check out made it right. AC unit in room wasn't working at first and we called down to front desk and maintenence came right away and fixed the issue.

The beds were extremely comfortable and it was very clean! Loved our view of the river as well!

Needing to have a credit card to pay for a deposit instead of being able to use my visa debit card that I rented the room with. As well as having to have a piece of id with an address. I did have these two cards with me but find it very un inclusive that someone who doesn't drive or travel (passport) can't rent a hotel room

Our room was upgraded by Andrea to a suite. A separate lounge/tv area with a sleeper sofa and walkout to a private deck. The bedroom, which could be closed if required, was huge with an ensuing jacuzzi and gas fireplace and TV. A small kitchenette with fridge, microwave and sink, was perfect. The suite was tastefully furnished and decorated. Extremely comfortable and functional, particularly for more than a couple. The only negative was the noisy heating units when they came on in the middle of the night. Also, some grab bars at the jacuzzi are needed and perhaps a magnifying make up mirror in the bathroom? Will certainly return! Stan.

Well it was a buffet style for which I had liked can choose what you want for breakfast. The pillows were a bit lumpy but everything else was good

The pillows were a bit lumpy used only one.I can't think of anything else I didn't like. Oh outside a bit of goose droppings on the ground beside the water. The hotel was a bit out of the downtown area though I had expected that. The public transit was not much and on Tuesday evening had to walk from George Street back to this hotel

I like location, nice property, very good breakfast, nice clean swim pool, very clean room and extremely comfortable beds.

Problem with room’s door key. Spent 5-25 min to open the door. I requested room with balcony or patio but hotel denied but when we came to hotel many rooms was empty with balcony and 1st floor patio. I was ready to pay upgrade room but no discussion on check in. Unable to use hot tub in swim pool area too much chloride in water. Too much noise air conditioner in the room.

Breakfast was very satisfying with good choices and varied daily. Real silverware! All staff were very polite and friendly and provided good tips for exploring the area. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable; a good place to hang out. Staff loaned us an umbrella for a walk in the light rain. Location is good - we walked from the hotel around Little Lake and back. Stopped at the Canadian Canoe Museum and the Art Gallery along the way.

From walking in the front door on our day of check-in to checking out, I was very impressed with the staff, the hotel, our room, and the facilities. Each day, breakfast was nice continental with different options overlooking the river. Our room was large and spotless clean. The bed was a little soft to what we are used too. The pool was a nice bonus, especially with it being hot outside.

This Best Western is almost always a pleasant, comfortable experience. Great people on reception, super-clean and relatively comfortable, well-equipped rooms, decent internet, lots of parking close to rooms, etc. It delivers a good, reliable experience almost every time. (Exception might be when there are kids' hockey tournaments and similar events going on in town when halls can fill with excited and noisy kids but this did not happen on this occasion. And I usually call and check before arrival.)

Small complaint but I do find the pillows lumpy. Try to remember to take my own but for short stays don't want to bother.

Great rooms, loved the deck and view. Relaxing and cozy, great breakfast in mornings- lots of options. Room was spacious and comfortable with everything needed. I was very pleasantly surprised- we have stayed at the other 3 hotels in Peterborough including the Hampton and this was by far the best stay we have had.

My only complaint was that there was no night light in the bathroom - hard to see in the dark and the main light way too bright to have on in the night and patio screen door stuck so difficult to open and close.
