The staff are absolutely wonderful. They were very approachable. They regularly asked if your needs were met.They aim to please. The essential cleansing spa treatment was professional, relaxing, and feeling radiant. The breakfasts were delicious and filling, and the authentic butter chicken dinner was scrumptious. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. The trails through the forest were well manicured with the smell of fresh air. The location in the hills is ideal for reconnecting with nature..

Not much. The exterior of the back of the building could use a refresh, and our sliding door needs replacement (consistently jamming due to bent frame).I wish we could have experienced a meditation class, but there was a large group with that request. Hopefully, we can engage next time.

This place is truly a hidden gem! The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of Lake Ontario from the patio. We couldn’t believe the value we got for what we paid—breakfast, parking, and Wi-Fi were all included, making it an incredible deal. From the moment we arrived, we felt like valued guests. The manager greeted us with a glass of sparkling wine, and the check-in process was seamless. The staff went above and beyond, personally showing us around the hotel to ensure we knew where everything was located. Their warm and welcoming attitude made us feel right at home. The manager, in particular, was exceptional, always on hand to make sure we were having the best experience possible. We stayed for just one night, but it was a night to remember. Dinner on the patio during sunset was simply magical. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. Breakfast, which was included in our stay, was another highlight. We both had the avocado toast—it was outstanding, with perfectly poached eggs and all the fresh flavors you’d expect. Our room was another pleasant surprise. It opened up to a beautiful outdoor space complete with hot tubs and a fire pit. We had our own private lounge chairs right outside the room, where we could relax and enjoy our morning coffee. The room itself was spacious and spotless, offering every comfort we could have wanted. The property is vast and impeccably maintained, with multiple hiking trails that were a huge bonus for us. Although we didn’t have time to try the spa services, other guests we spoke with couldn’t stop raving about them. We’re so glad we discovered this hidden gem, and we’ll definitely be back. It’s a place that offers not just a stay, but a truly memorable experience.

Cute little hotel in a treed natural environment with friendly check-in staff. Big carpet free room. Working bathroom fan. Mattress has fairly soft top but firm enough so it doesn't cave in. Bedding comfortable and made right. No old or chemical smells. No toxic air sanitizers or perfume smells. Slept very well. .

Lobby floor needs to be washed with soapy water and than rinsed because it was making sticky sounds on my shoes. Same with room, floor not washed properly. Bathroom floor tiles need strong bleach to remove all the old black stains. Gravel road and gravel parking. There is a 12% service fee in addition to the 13% tax. Increase your room rate instead of making it look cheaper on booking.com

Our overnight stay was exceptional, with comfortable and well-maintained accommodations that exceeded our expectations. Beautiful surroundings and some great facilities including free access to hot tubs, steam room, sauna. Breakfast was included and the meal options were varied, high quality and good value. Rooms were large, comfortable and very quiet. The walking trails were lovely. We booked a deal and paid a good rate for our stay.

Nothing impacted our stay however some suggestions. Not convinced it would be good value if we had paid full price. Our room was large but lacked some amenities that would make it more functional overall (iron, fridge, coat hooks, shoe storage near door etc.) The staff were brilliant but the facility overall has some quirks. The guidance at facilities where no staff were present could be improved (how to access hot tubs/changing rooms when outside doors locked, then how to return to room etc.). A little info booklet in the room to explain what is and isn't included and how to access them would make a big difference for some visitors.

The location is remote and beautiful with a calming vibe from the moment you arrive. The rooms are quite large, and clean. The bed was so comfortable that I had a very restful sleep. There are opportunities to relax in one of the hot tubs, sit in Muskoka chairs by a fire, or on the deck beside a gas fire (weather permitting). There is a yoga room, spa and nature trails for hiking or biking right outside your door. The breakfasts on offer were delicious!

There was an issue with the fire alarm that night that saw us awakened twice in the wee hours of the morning but clearly that is an exceptional concern and not a regular one.

Quiet retreat in the country. Even with a loud wedding my room was quiet. Lots of opportunities to sit and enjoy nature or enjoy the very well maintained trails on the property. The rooms are gigantic and I had a dedicated patio with a lounge chair to enjoy.

The staff were very friendly but there seemed to be a lot of confusion about what was going on when trying to make reservations for dinner. Some features of the room required some maintenance. (Door handle did not function if pushed down and had to be lifted up)

i will stay again, the staff were excellent, friendly and accommodating, and the was food was wonderful ( esp the breakfast). the location was just as I expected and the views were lovely. I wish we had more time to stay and enjoy it. we used the spa services and yoga and they were very good! the room was tidy and the bed and linens nice, but it needed a deep clean ( tiles, walls, trim) and the finishes in the room were low quality and needed updating as compared to the price. but the staff were so good it really made up for the mediocre room.

bedroom was fine but outdated example low quality-tile floors and walls in bath, trim and doors were outdated or poorly finished, walls and ceilings needed fresh paint or deep clean, and expected spa level soaps and toiletries in the room. also no luggage rack so had put suitcases on the floor. everything was clean and beds we’re comfortable so it was fine and served it’s purpose.

First class, relaxing trip. Beautiful ambience, tranquil and intend to return. . Room was large and exceptionally comfortable. Good food and attentive staff. All the staff were excellent. A special thank you to Mona for her care and attention. All our needs were met. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Only that there was no coffee in the room, no coffee maker at all. Plenty of tea and a kettle.

The staff were very friendly. The grounds were well maintained. The meals were exceptional. Shawna, the restaurant manager and her staff, were very friendly and attentive. The chef came and made sure our meals were alright.

There were no towel bars in the bathroom. There wasn't a shelf in the shower to place shampoo, conditioner, or shower gel. There wasn't a mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cold.
