For the cost, I had ZERO expectations for the room. When we entered, I was very surprised. The room was very clean, and none of the negative things that I had read were true. The bed was immaculate, and there were ample pillows to accommodate my wife. The sleep was very pleasant and quiet. The shower was AWESOME and had so much pressure. My home shower will seem weak. The in-house restaurant, Piper Arms, serves a fantastic breakfast selection.

The TV was very old and not a clear picture. There was no streaming capability, and the screen was grainy. The cc was on too many channels, and the channel choices were either sports, news, or French.

Staff were wonderful and accommodating. Manager was aloof and not approachable. Manager should not discuss his personal business in the middle of lobby-it drew lots of looks and weakened credibility He left new staff struggling rather then supporting them when experienced staff were off hence some check in glitches.

This hotel has a three day maximum stay with pets. I would urge them to reconsider. There is a very lucrative relocation business for people with pets that they are missing out on.

The staff on duty during our stay is what we enjoyed most about our stay. Hanna and Russ were so friendly and helpful. They literally made our stay the enjoyable experience that it was. After searching for the entire day for a campsite in the Kawartha area, to no avail, we decided to pull into the Trenton Ramada for the evening. From the minute I walked through the door, Russ’ smile, kindness and ease of accommodating us, our dog and our trailer, my frustration over the events of the day evaporated. Hanna was equally as helpful and friendly later that evening when I was having problems with my vehicle keys demagnetizing my hotel room key card. We had such a restful evening that we decided to stay one more night before heading to our reserved campsite close to family in the area. There was also an amazing dog park a short drive away at Hanna Park, which we took our pup to several times during our stay. The folks at the park were friendly and our pup had lots of fun with the dogs at the park and the large wooded, fenced in, off leash area! The room was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning a real plus in a hot spring weekend. A basic room but the service made it a five star experience.

Room good. ,Bed comfortable staff friendly. In room coffee machine , microwave . Bath, lots of towels etc.

Both snack vending machines were down. ( one empty other out of order, front of hotel needed cleaning up( the front grounds by entrance to hotel. So many cigarette butts. The pillows weren't too bad, but they seemed like a weird size. More square., More like decorator pillow sz instead of a regular rectangle ....

The price was excellent. The room was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. There was coffee available, a nice couch, queen size bed, and a mini fridge to store groceries. The restaurant to the hotel had good food, with a large menu and affordable prices. 100% would stay here again. Thanks Ramada team!

Honestly there wasn't a downside to this hotel. Some reviews have people complaining about the cleanliness of the rooms, just manage your expectations when booking and you'll see the value.

It was convenient and the restaurant (the piper) is extremely good. The service was a little slow this time.

The girl at the front desk was quite confrontational, did not like that at all. When I said to her are you calling me a liar she just smiled and said I've been working here a year I know what I'm talking about.

El personel didnt were kind and they didnt bother to answer my questions with my reservation by booking, just they dont matters if i have problems with the app..

Our room was clean, comfortable, quiet and had all the amenities we needed. The staff was very friendly. The Piper Arms restaurant on-site served the best restaurant omelet I have ever had!! Thank you for a great stay! Nancy and Walter

Room was ready on time, good check in service. Easy access to building. Free parking. Bathroom fan actually worked properly!

200 deposit is really high, then takes days to be released. Staff should actually wait until we check out to make up the room. handicapped doors didn't work.

Fantastic bar location (though we did not actually go in there). Had dinner in the dining room. Fantastic. Loved the pool and the location. Free and plentiful parking. Professional staff. Answered questions at checkin.

Just the bed. Not as comfortable as both of us commented to each other. Sheets were rough and scratchy. Overbleached? Can't blame you for that. Otherwise, a pleasant stay. Not bad enough that we wouldnt stay there again. Our next trip through may bew as early as April.
