Beautifully decorated hotel, with great attention to detail. High quality furnishings and fabrics throughout. Michael was a great host! The breakfast was excellent and chef couldn't have been more attentive when cooking to order. Outside space is idyllic, with plenty of places to walk or just sit and relax, with various style seating tucked away in quiet locations, both in the shade or sun. Has bikes for hire to explore the winneries. Other guests were pleasant and friendly so it was easy to relax in the shared lounge.

The provision of tea and coffee was a bit confusing and sometimes there was a shortage of cups available or no water filled up. There are no fridges in rooms (but it is possible to use a shared fridge in the main kitchen).

We stayed here for 2 nights for a weekend getaway. We have been coming to the County regularly for over 10 years but this was our first time staying at The Eddie. It is a real gem! - Beautiful 160 year old house with much of the original style in tact plus some modern touches and comforts. Whoever decorated this home has a keen eye and sense of style. It is absolutely gorgeous. - First floor suite - comfy bed and linens, powerful AC unit, smart TV, super clean, nice selection of reading materials, toiletries smell lovely and are made in PEC (not much storage area for clothes but ok for a short trip) - Common areas like the living room are cozy and inviting; we spent a night there sipping tea and playing Scrabble - Many thoughtful touches like: umbrellas, sunscreen/bug spray, blankets, games - Dining room has tea, coffee pods, juice, fruit at all times of day - Continental breakfast is fresh and delicious: homemade croissants/muffins warm out of oven; yogurts; cereal; fruit; tea/coffee/juice - If you book directly from them, you can also get hot breakfast items such as waffles, eggs benedict etc. But if you book on booking.com, the hot breakfast items are $25pp - Huge outdoor area including free roaming chickens, corn hole, croquet, patio area - Saturday farmer's market is fantastic with locally made gifts (e.g. soaps, pet accessories, candles, jams) as well as food stands - Hosts Alex and Mike are communicative and always around in case you need anything. Their sweet dog Ruby is also around too! Check-in and check-out was very efficient and everyone we encountered was so kind and genuinely wanted to make our stay comfortable.

We absolutely loved the charming, bucolic vibe of staying in this antique farmhouse! The atmosphere was warm and joyful, and the property offers plenty of acres to explore. We enjoyed fresh eggs from their chickens and other delicious local treats. Although we traveled as a couple, this place is perfect for families with kids too, with lots of fun activities all year round. Breakfast was amazing, and we fell in love with their sweet dog, Ruby! The location is super convenient, just minutes from Wellington and the Sandbanks. Truly one of the best spots to experience Prince Edward County. A perfect 10 out of 10! We definitely recommend staying at The Eddie and can’t wait for our next visit!

This is a wonderful place — a beautiful heritage home lovingly converted to a small hotel and event space, with all the amenities we could ask for, in the heart of wine country. Our host was lovely, and we were welcome to make use of the house and grounds. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. Our dog was welcome too, which made it a perfect getaway. We especially appreciated tips from our host about wineries to visit. It was a memorable stay, too short - we’ll be back.

Nothing - it was charming, comfortable and impeccable.

Lush garden, old building decorated tastefully, comfy rooms with charme, rich breakfast, welcoming staff, peaceful yet close to the beaches... what can one possibly desire more?

We weren't sure if breakfast was included or not as we did not have the option to choose online. We though it was included as it's a B&B and none ever asked or told us the price before check out. It came a bit of a surprise, due the price of the stay and because the house is a bit far off in the countryside

It had the cozy feel of home and everyone we talked to - Mike, who is one of the owners, the chef, and the fellow who helps maintain the property - was friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with any requests. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the property and meeting Ruby, the resident dog, and the chickens in the gardens, who added another layer of charm. It’s in a great location for exploring the area.

Beautiful old home. Very comfortable. We thought breakfast was included. However there was an extra charge of 70.00 for the breakfast. Breakfast was good but pricey in top of the over 300.00 night for the room. The whole experience cost over 400.00.

The staff was friendly but it seemed a bit forced. She did offer us some wine upon arrival which was nice. I would have appreciated some assistance upon checking on how to operate the AC and TV. It took us awhile to figure it out.

We loved Alex and his attentional to detail and passion for creating a beautiful space for travelers from nearby and even around the world. The lovely collection of vintage pieces were so thoughtful and warm. Our favourite was exploring the estate roaming around, chatting with the chickens and communal table that sparked conversations and new friends!

Loved the hotel interior and the grounds and outbuildings were beautiful. Our room was very small but cozy. Loved that we were able to bring our dog. Breakfast was delicious.

It is a beautiful historic home with original wood floors-you could hear everything. Owners were not on site. Staff person was inexperienced and couldn’t answer many of our questions. House was left unstaffed and unlocked at night.

A beautiful and cozy spot, perfect for escaping the busy city life. It feels like stepping into a movie, welcomed as an honored guest in a duke’s estate :)

Some minor things were not obvious, like "how to order a breakfast? How to checkout? How to fix the low battery in the room key?", but the hotel team was very friendly and responsive!
