We stayed for one night and left right after breakfast the following morning. The staff were very accommodating at checkin and checkout. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and even though there were a lot of people checking in, a number of them with dogs which we loved, our room was quiet which was much appreciated. We would stay there again!

The coffee could have been a bit better.

The breakfast buffet is my favourite part! I will come back again and again just for that breakfast buffet! And the pool was open and we had a wonderful time swimming! The pool could have been a tad warmer.

The only thing is the door to our bathroom in our room was a sliding, barn door style and it never properly closes and slowly opens when I'm trying to use the bathroom.

Very clean and modern looking rooms. Comfortable beds and spacious room. Breakfast in the morning was perfect before hitting the road. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Bathroom door, yet modern (sliding barn door style) does not lock. Just a bit inconvenient when traveling with small children that like to open doors.

The location was great. Easy access off the highway, close to amenities, and the pool was nice.

The bathroom light was sooooo bright! One on the wall and one on the ceiling, which were both activated by a single switch. It needed two switches to be able to not be blinded. I often left the bathroom light off and used the hall light instead

Nice place overall, not luxurious but clean with everything I needed. Nice warm breakfast, very warm pool, and inclusive parking.

The place looks pretty new but the bathtub could have been cleaned better. We didn’t want to bath in it (ok for a shower) It’s too expensive for what it is

The hospitality staff were fantastic! We looked up a place to stay because we were to tired to drive to our originally planned destination. We were so happy to discover this town and explore it the next day. What a beautiful place with friendly people. We would like to visit again just to spend more time in this town.

The location, room size, room were great. The breakfast was also very good.

The check in was not smooth. When we arrived, the receptionist couldn’t find our booking, and then we were told someone else was checked in to our room. The manager was able to help us out and sort us with a discount, however overall experience could’ve been better

Very clean, room was very comfortable. Serving area for breakfast was well planned out.

Since when was the provision of only two towels in each category an indication of providing me with comfort. During Covid the service has been minimized and has never come back

I liked the location a lot, and I liked that it was nice and quiet. The room was a good size, and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was great.

The door to the bathroom didn’t lock or even close. It was on a roller and there was no way to stop it from rolling open. And crumbs down the side of the chair.

We came to Port Hope to attend the Capital Theater and this location was perfect. An easy and convenient 6 min drive. The breakfast was very good. Veggie omelets, sausage, muffins, bagels, English muffins. white and w w bread for toast. GHreat hot coffee, and several kinds of cereal to choose from. About 4 juice options. Even breakfast potatoes !!! Apples, oranges & yogurt. You could even make your own waffles!!! The staff were fantastic and so very helpful. I would stay here again in a heart beat !!!

Maybe add bacon to the breakfast buffet.
