The location is very convenient (easy to get there, plenty of comfy and luxury cafés around), and the receptionist was kind and helpful. We stayed in a room on the 9th floor, and the view was amazing — from certain angles, we could even see the Parliament! The room was spacious with a large, comfortable bed. It had an iron, a coffee machine, and — to our pleasant surprise — a mini fridge. Near the coffee machine, there were also cups, sugar, and tea, which we appreciated. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

I wouldn’t call it a serious issue, but I’ll mention it in case it’s helpful for someone: out of the four hygiene bottles, two or three seemed previously used — they weren’t full. The sofa had some peeling spots, and we noticed a few yellowish marks around the room. The smaller side window was also dirty. The coffee machine looked a bit old but worked fine. The TV remote control didn’t work, and there was no way to connect your own device to watch content.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Wonderful Stay” The room was very nice – clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was cozy, the amenities were convenient, and everything was exactly as expected. I really appreciated the attention to detail and how welcoming the atmosphere felt. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Nice Room but Some Improvements Needed” The room itself was very nice, clean, and comfortable, but a few things could have made the stay much better. Unfortunately, the room didn’t have air conditioning, and it felt quite humid. Parking was also an issue since there weren’t enough spaces and we couldn’t use the interior parking due to the height of our vehicle. The TV only offered basic channels, which was a bit disappointing. Also, there was no “Do Not Disturb” sign for the door, so we were woken up early by the cleaning staff. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but with a few adjustments, it could be a lot more enjoyable.

The room was large and had a huge window. Could have used a chair to be able to sit by the window and enjoy the view. The bed was extremely comfortable. Parking was convenient. Elevators were quick. Check-in and check-out were easy.

Parking could have been explained a little better upon check in. Room was a bit warm and the temperature control did not seem to work efficiently. Maid service came before 11 AM check out time on our last day and seemed annoyed we were still in our room.

The room is spacious, reasonably clean, well-equipped, and conveniently located for getting around. It's only about a ten-minute drive from Parliament Hill. The car park is secure, though the carpets could do with being a bit cleaner.

The towels left by the previous guest in the wardrobe are rather unpleasant. If only they could provide toothbrushes and toothpaste like other hotel reception desks do, we wouldn't have had to go out and buy them after arriving.

We liked the large size of the room, the comfortable beds, the quiet AC, and the fast elevators. The breakfast was not included but it was excellent, but very expensive. The location was great for us with the walking trail across the road that went along the river. The parking was good.

The staff was good however my husband kept getting locked out when he went for a smoke late at night. If the breakfast was included for the price that would have been much better.

The room is HUGE, loved it a lot! Tidy and warm with good AC. It has a kitchen, a bathtub, a stunning view on Ottawa. The bed is comfortable. This would be a perfect place for a longer stay. The staff is nice. There is a great park nearby and you can easily get to this hotel by public transit even at night.

The building has a slight smell of cigarettes everywhere. I believe people used to smoke here back in a days. It's not too strong to bother you, but you can feel it.

The building was clean and the staff were super friendly and courteous! Staff were bilingual. this made commutation a breeze as we only speak English. The room was comfortable and clean .

The parking machine didn't provide a ticket for our dash, promting us to swipe again only to be charged twice. Staff were quick to fix this issue with no hassles even though it was a government issue not theirs. The ice machine didn't work.

Everything, except the non inclusion of breakfast. The check-in and check-out were also fast and very efficient The staff at the desk were polite and nice.

The breakfast wasn't included, and the wi-fi needs an upgrade to suit business people ( Videotron: please show some national pride and work with Crowne Plaza Gatineau ! Thanks :-) )
