The location was perfect in terms of convenience for me. The hotel is very clean. The room, while old, was comfortable and nice.

The location is in a neighbourhood that’s been declining. I’ve seen other reviews that focus on drug users in a little park across the street. I’ve been in this area on a number of occasions over the years and have never felt threatened in any way. As well, on the same block on the same side of the street are a busy supermarket, a busy taxi stand and a gay bar a few doors away that would certainly be a safe space in case of trouble. After all that, this will seem trivial, but the shower was only mildly warn, not hot. And the shower head only had narrow spray so I was on the verge of shivering during my showers.

Excellent location with taxis and METRO (Papineau Train & Bus Station) transportation, and Metro Express Grocery Store very close by. Friendly and kind staff who let us check in early. Excellent value and quiet, comfortable room with mini fridge and air conditioning. Keypad room access & Wifi was great.

The bathroom could have used a towel rack and picking up the keys from a different hotel a few doors down was a little bit of an inconvenience.

The room was beautiful and clean. There was adjustable air conditioning, free wifi, and com-cast so you could watch media from your phone which is a nice touch. The balcony is cute, perfect for morning tea ♡ The spa tub was huge and super relaxing at the end of a long day. Overall it was a great experience, and I would definitely stay again! Also, we arrived earlier than check in time and they were able to accommodate, which was very much appreciated, as we had come from a 5 hour drive and wanted to unwind before attending the event we came for. Super friendly staff, thanks for everything Mason Cartier!

No fault to Mason Cartier, but unfortunately there is no parking, there is a parking lot only three blocks away though.

Good location right near the metro. Nothing to complain about. The jacuzzi in the room was a great addition for relaxing after a long day walking around

Perfect location. Just a few steps to the subway station. It's located in downtown, so it's next to all the main attractions. The room is super comfortable. I strongly recommend this hotel.
