Met my expectations exactly. It was the lowest price I could find and the looks of it perfectly straddled being a legit hotel look and being a shady place trying to pass as a legit look. Had cameras everywhere in the hallways and up front for safety.

One of the policies was no guests. I'm not sure what extent this is enforced but if I pay for a room I will have whoever I want over. I understand no parties but no guests at all is wild. Should definitely put that on the policies on this website and theirs.

The asian guy, the receptionist was very accommodating and friendly.

The first time we stayed, the room was okay. Clean and the beddings are clean, no bad smells. But the second time we booked and stayed. Not the same room since our first stay, we had issues with the blanket it smells bad. It was like used already.

Location was great, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and had just the basics. The bed was comfortable. Overall, this place offers fantastic value for money in the city.

There was a problem with AC, but the staff profusely apologized, explained the reason, and handled the situation promptly.

It has everything a solo traveller needs. If your visit to Montreal is to relax in a hotel and enjoy all the facilities, do not come here; but if you have a packed agenda to visit different places and all you need is a comfortable bed to sleep in, this place is great.

APD Hotel was exactly what we needed. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and there were fresh products and towels in the bathroom. The man working the front was also extremely kind and helpful.

The entrance smelled weird and there was no place to fill a water bottle other than the kitchen sink.

Affordable price and I have a good night sleep. Location is perfect not in a busy and noisy street while still in a heart of the city. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate free 24/7 (self-serve) is a plus.

The free coffee and hot chocolate was greatly appreciated. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Close to the metro and bus station was good. Room was clean and comfortable.
