It was impressive how every detail was taken care of. The power outlet could accommodate six connections so that one would not have to look around for extra sockets, there was a second door after the main room door to isolate the noise from the hallway and other tiny things that showed consideration. The room was spacious enough. The location is very good, four minutes from a metro station, six minutes from the bus terminal to the airport. One may reach the latin district by foot in fifteen minutes and the river in half an hour.

The bed could not be squeaking but I ami sure they will fix it some time :)

The location was great, just in front of the subway station! Breakfast was simple but filling and their coffee is really good. Though parking is limited if there is availability, staff will try their best to find a spot. We didn’t have issues at all on this. The staff are super helpful and friendly, 5 stars for service!

Since it’s an older infrastructure, I assume the piping system is a little old and if you are staying in the last floor you may experience some water pressure issues when showering or flushing the toilet. Nothing crazy but just beware, otherwise it was fine!

All the receptionists, both day and night shifts, were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was simple but great! The room was clean and comfortable. The location is 3-minute walk from the Sherbrooke metro station which was very convenient! The air conditioner was centralized but heater can be controlled and really helped is stay warm. There were many necessities given. Overall would recommend to people and would stay here again!

The bed is double-sized but i think that is mentioned in the reservation so I am totally fine with it

Room was large and really nice. Breakfast was in a small room downstairs and while simple was adequate. Fresh fruit, yoghurt and bagels and tea/coffee. Took about 20 mins to walk to Old Town. Big bonus was it came with car parking. Leave your keys with the friendly staff and they will move your car if necessary to make more parking space for the next guest. Great service.

No elevator, needed to take stairs which was fine for us but make sure you can carry your bag up the stairs.

The room was large and quaint. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I found that noise travels easily, either when people walked up and down stairs, or if people were walking on the floor above me. I found the room cold and despite my attempts at changing the temperature, it was never warmer than 20C. It probably would have been fine but it was cold and raining and I was fighting a cold.

Very handy location near to Metro station and some excellent restaurants. We were able to us their free parking too. The Argentinian guy (cant recall his name) at the front desk was both very helpful and friendly and deserves a gold star.

The stairs to our top floor room were a challenge. The water pressure wasn’t great which did not help the shower facility

Great location, next to a metro stop and walkable distance to Museum of Fine Arts, Saint Laurent Ave, and lots of restaurants/shops. Staff were very friendly, and we had no issues despite not speaking French. Breakfast was simple but good and went until 11am. Standard queen room was comfortable; it had a mini fridge and a big bathtub.

We had no issues, but you can hear street traffic from rooms looking into the main road, including people's voices. If you're a sensitive sleeper, just ask for a room facing away from the street. If you have a big car, the parking at the hotel will be difficult.

The room was clean, the breakfast was a good start for the day, the front desk service was helpful and available day and night. We asked at the front desk for a taxi to arrive for an early morning flight and it was there and on time. We really appreciated that!

There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage. Our room was facing Sherbrooke and the street is noisy at night, so if you are a light sleeper, ask for a room that doesn't face the street.

I spent two nights at l’Argoat. The hotel room was quiet, the shower and bath water warm, towels clean, the bed very comfortable, the breakfast plentiful. Staff were friendly and attentive.

Not much. Chateau de l’Argoat is perhaps showing its age - but it’s ageing well. The decor of the stairs, landings and rooms is slightly old-fashioned, perhaps a little faded and somewhat quirky, but that adds to the charm.

The place has character and charm, due to it being an old house. The double room was spacious, comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was a bonus after a long day, driving from a snow-covered mountain!

Some things looked as though there could be better attention to maintenance .. for example, the HPI on the back of the bathroom door fell off immediately when I tried to hang up a light garment.. the man who checked us in was not exactly welcoming and seemed bored by his job. Otherwise, the staff was polite and fine.
