Value for money. I expected the worst based on previous reviews but was thoroughly surprised and impressed at the size and refurbished room(rm 34) where I stayed. Fridge and aircond. The small corridors and red bricks and multiple floors of the old building takes away but nicely refurbished. Nice wooden floors and good lighting.Wide elevator. 800mts to St Catherine st, 900mts to Big Wheel/Old Port, 2blocks away from main metro station Sherbrooke.

The front entrance was difficult and looked abandoned but since it is under construction/refurbishment, the debris in front could be organized so it does not look like an abandoned construction site. Behind the unit is a building in rehabilitation!!! Does get noisy after 7am. No ramp access to front desk. I hope it is done after the entrance is rehabilitated. First impression..last a lifetime. I really hope that the owner gives priority attention to quickly fix the front entrance from outside to Lobby...that would set the tone for a better impact to new clients!!!

Amazing location and value, just a few minutes from Sherbrooke station and some amazing neighborhoods. Smooth, curt and easy check in and out. Clean room, bathroom, bedding and towels. Soap and shampoo. Mini fridge.

Listen, it was honestly completely fine, and amazing for the price, but certainly not luxurious. A nice bed that wasn't the cushiest. A bit of a tight squeeze in the bathroom. A few minutes for the shower to get hot up on the 5th floor. No real issues, just don't get too excited.

The location was excellent, the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The rooms are en suite. It had a little fire exit balcony too.

The rooms are tiny and the walls are thin. I knew this and didn't mind. It's a small, functional place. Nothing fancy, but it does the job.

Very convenient location close to the metro station, groceries, restaurants, and bars. Affordable price for a short stay and room is big enough for 2 people. The staff are friendly and helpful.

It was almost clean but a little bit old, and the entrance was under renovation, which did not look appealing.

The employees and manager made the experiencie unique they were very polite, helpful and I will stay there next time for sure..

I didn't like the way staff can block the money on credit card. Take longer to get money back. I think, before the clients decide to leave, staff should check the room, not behind.

the staff was very friendly, second time there and never a problem, absolutely my favorite price-friendly stay in downtown montreal whenever i go to concerts. great situating in the city

the shower curtain was a little bit moldy and the beds would sound like snapping on the floor when we put weight on it, it was probably only that room though because for anything else i have never had a problem

All of the facilities were clean and worked well. Staff was very accommodating when my train ran late.

Bathroom was very narrow and weirdly shaped. The room's AC was just ok.

Hotel La Residence du Voyageur had a cute, vintage feel to it and the staff was exceptional! When we arrived, there wasn’t an available parking spot in the 24h parking, so we had to park somewhere else and hope there was an available spot in the morning. When we woke up, the gentleman working informed us that he had parked his own car in a space when it opened to save the spot for us! He didn’t need to do that and it was very nice

The elevator was ancient and terrifying, but it’s okay because they had stairs too
