our room was right inside the front door, so we could hear other guests coming and going.

Location is amazing, minutes away from the metro station so you can get anywhere quickly. Yoyo and family are amazing hosts who are so kind and welcoming, almost feels like you’re being hosted by your best friend’s parents. The breakfasts every morning were really tasty, and were different each morning so it was nice to have variety as well. They provide plenty of coffee, snacks and extras in their kitchen if you need it. Their backyard patio is very cute, and the rooms are actually pretty soundproof, we couldn’t even hear the hosts coming to drop off the breakfasts in the morning.

Hotel may not be suitable for very tall people, though the rooms are spacious, the hallways, stairs and bathrooms may not accommodate taller people. The only thing that I think could be needed is availability to ice. Water is super available and our room had a fridge, but the kitchen didn’t seem to have ice, and we needed some to keep us cool in the hot summer.

Everything really. The staff (Yoyo) as mentioned on other posts, makes sure she finds you a free parking spot. In my case, this meant jumping in the car and directing me around the streets until we found one. Breakfast was really enjoyable, especially as we were able to eat outside on the terrace. Free coffee 24hrs was also welcome. There's even a cupboard with free snacks

Nothing. It was a perfect base for a weekend visit and only 10 mins from a lot of the main attractions

Great location for exploring the beautiful city of Montreal. I had a large room in this lovely, small B&B, with an en-suite bathroom. The room was beautifully decorated with various art works, warm, large, comfortable and with a huge double bed that was also very comfortable! YoYo, the owner, was a perfect hostess from start to finish, so friendly and welcoming! She greeted me in person at 10pm when I arrived from England, and helped me practice my very poor French (although she spoke perfect English too :-) ) throughout my stay. She cooked a lovely breakfast each day which was left out for me and the other guests at 8.30am - really tasty and served with fresh fruit daily too! Coffee, tea, milk, yoghurts, bread, butter, cheese and snacks available at all times in the breakfast area, to complement breakfast, which was a very nice touch! I met some really interesting other guests staying at La Loggia and really enjoyed my stay, exploring the city by metro and on foot (I was visiting my daughter). The nearest metro station is a few hundred yards away and the immediate area has lots of coffee shops and restaurants, with downtown walk-able in about 30 minutes or accessible via the metro in a few stops. I thoroughly recommend La Loggia and would definitely choose to stay here again on another visit. Merci Beaucoup YoYo!!!

A spot well located for touring the city! In addition, the owner was quite helpful in helping us navigate the city sights. Our room was clean, well-appointed and the 24-hour access to breakfast items and all-day snacks and tea was certainly appreciated.

It was quite noisy, both from the upstairs activity and the hallway traffic. We also felt like the windows to the hallway and bathroom could use better curtaining, to maintain privacy. (Maybe something attached to the door by rods at the top and bottom?)

Everything about La Loggia was excellent. Yoyo is such a welcoming host - she gave us a walk through when we got there and made sure we had everything we needed. The shower was great after a long day of walking around. By the way, we did not need any public transportation when in Montreal because La Loggia was within walking distance to all of the touristic places we wanted to visit. The best part, for me, was the bed. I slept like a baby everyday!

The walls are a little bit thin and you can hear people in other bedrooms. But this is not something that bothered us, as the other guests were quiet.

It was very comfortable and clean. It really reminded me of a country-style B&B but adapted for downtown Montreal, which was really nice. Yoyo is a very friendly owner and went out of her way to accommodate me even as I had travel/arrival delays. I would return in a heartbeat the next time I'm in Montreal.

The only issue is that it is a bit of a walk away from some of the main entertainment centres so it can be a little bit of a hike, but there are still a lot of great restaruants/pubs/cafés within a few blocks so it's a minor quibble.

The breakfast was amazing! Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great location and neighborhood close to St Catherine Street so lots of restaurants close by. Bed was very comfy and the house was extremely quiet. Nice outside deck for breakfast or glass of wine in the evening

It’s not really a complaint but you need to be aware there are a lot of stairs if you are staying in one of the lower level rooms

We would stay here again! Great location in the middle of city vibe, Old Port, Latin Quarter and surrounding parks. Close to the metro to get to various Jazz Fest venues and restaurants. Beautiful flowers at the entry. We enjoyed the outdoor garden for our delicious variety of breakfasts prepared by our hostess. Snacks available for a late night bagel with all the toppings. Thanks Yoyo and Yan!

Breakfasts were excellent, the patio is beautiful, the hosts are kind, accommodating and gracious. Easy walking distance to lots of neighborhoods and close to a major metro station hub. Overall, a wonderful experience. When we return to Montreal, we will stay at La Loggia again.
