Exceptional cleanliness in the room. Hotel staff very kind. The Metro station ( Sherbrooke) is about 10 minutes from the hotel. The main attractions are quite far away if you walk.
The furniture is old. The doors were all creaking. The bed, although comfortable, made noises with any movement. The room I received was facing inland, it was not a pleasant landscape.Very poor breakfast. We stayed 5 nights and had the same breakfast every day. Maybe because we are Europeans, we prefer a breakfast that also contains - bacon, ham, sausages, tomatoes, cucumbers, cottage cheese, cheese. Unfortunately, there were only boiled eggs with a piece of butter, the rest only sweets, croissants, cereals.

The hotel is lovely. The ambience, the rooms… it’s beautiful and cozy, and impeccably clean. I liked the breakfast that had a variety of breads, jams, and others. And the location was perfect to walk to the attractions I wanted to visit. But the most pleasant thing of all was the staff. They are so nice and helpful, they make you feel at home. I would love to come back to the Manoir, thank you for a lovely stay!

The staff really went above and beyond, super nice and super friendly, provided us with very useful advice regarding inexpensive parking as well as where to buy what we needed. The breakfast was very tasty, a wide choice of pastry, which was fresh and crispy. There was no ham nor veggies, which is something we typically eat for breakfast, but crispy croissants with PB&J made up for it. The staff made us feel welcome and provided us with adapters as the ones we'd brought didn't fit. Overall very pleasant stay which hugely contributed to our satisfaction with our holiday in Canada.

I loved everything about this hotel. It is a convenient location to St Laurent BLVD, several bus stops, the metro. The breakfast was very good with pastries and protein and traditional Quebec foods. The beds were very comfortable, pillows were fantastic. What really took the cake for me though were the staff. This hotel employs some of the most kind, lovely, helpful people in all of Montreal. They really go above and beyond and after my 6 nights stay, I left feeling like family. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable and the hotel is also very quiet, which is really nice.
There is no individual temperature control in your room as the heating is central (this is a very old building, which is part of the charm), so in winter it can be quite warm inside (for me, but i like a cold room). This was manageable for me as i had packed shorts and I opened my window at night and it did not affect my stay really at all.

A beautiful, unique space. My room was large, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Breakfast included tasty pastries, breads, jams, juices, yogurt, granola, hard-boiled eggs, and sausages, and I enjoyed starting my mornings in the spacious yet cozy breakfast room. The location was convenient for walking or taking public transit to downtown, Old Montreal, Mont Royal, and the many great restaurants and shops in the surrounding Plateau neighborhood. The best part about the stay, however, was the wonderful and helpful staff.
It wasn't a problem for me, but guests should be aware that there are steps and stairs to get into and around the property.

I had the pleasure of staying at Manoir Sherbrooke, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. This boutique-style hotel, built in the late 1800s, is a true gem. The historic charm of the building is perfectly preserved, with its elegant architecture and carefully maintained features, making it a beautiful place to stay. The hotel’s boutique atmosphere really adds to its unique appeal. The staff at Manoir Sherbrooke was exceptional and truly made my stay memorable. From the moment I arrived, they were warm, friendly, and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The service was personal and thoughtful, and it really added a special touch to the experience. The room itself was quaint, clean, and beautifully decorated, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. While the bathroom was small, it was spotless and well-maintained. The breakfast was delicious, offering a great variety of fresh options that started my day on the right note. The hotel is located in a quiet and clean area, just a 20-minute walk from downtown Montreal, making it a peaceful retreat with easy access to the city. I would definitely stay at Manoir Sherbrooke again—it's a charming, well-run hotel with exceptional staff that made my visit to Montreal truly special.
The hotel doesn’t have an elevator, which may not be ideal for guests with mobility issues, the staff was more than accommodating. They kindly helped me carry my luggage all the way to my room, which I greatly appreciated.

This was my second time booking a room here, and also my second trip to Montreal. The location is peaceful yet still close to downtown – not too far from anything. Everything about this place is truly amazing. The room we got was absolutely beautiful. We were literally speechless for the first few minutes – just wowed by how gorgeous it was. Spacious, cozy, and decorated in a vintage style. Everything was clean and nicely arranged, including the bathroom which was spotless and beautifully designed. Even the hallway, ceiling, entrances, and every little corner are styled in a warm, vintage vibe – totally giving that classic Montreal charm. The dining area is full of sunlight and every table corner looks lovely. The breakfast selection is diverse – gluten-free bread, whole wheat, multigrain, various jams, pâté, sausages, boiled eggs, butter, plus berry juice, orange juice, milk, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. You can even build your own granola bowl with all the fresh toppings. Oh, and they had croissants and a few other baked goods too, but I didn’t get to try them because I was too into the granola. Everything tasted fresh, and if anything ran out, the staff were happy to refill it – super kind and helpful. Honestly, the staff were the highlight of our stay. Everyone was friendly and warm, and one person stood out in particular – Carol. She was absolutely wonderful. If you’re lucky enough to meet her, your day will be better for it. She constantly checked in on us, asking if we needed anything or had any issues. Always smiling, helping out, and tidying up around the place. She even remembered us from three months ago! This was the first time I’ve stayed at a hotel where nearly every staff member felt so genuinely welcoming. That’s what made this place special for me. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I visit Montreal. 1000/10 – a must-try stay if you’re in town.

Really adorable old style building with modern amenities (except a lift) which was a delight to stay in. We particularly enjoyed having the spacious feel of our unit and its independent access. Appreciated the shelves in the closet and total 6 electric sockets besides the beds. Hope the photos taken as we left will show you the unit better. The freshly made buffet style breakfast was a lovely start to the day. We had been a little apprehensive about not knowing French but it wasn't an issue. While public transport was nearby, one could simply reach many areas of interest by walking half an hour or less. Please remember that some roads in Montreal are at an incline, and walking with heavy suitcases can be an issue if you are not used to it. We went for a very short weekend trip, so luggage wasn't a problem.
Our daughter joined us at the last minute as the suite could accommodate 3 guests, and the staff were accommodating. But we would have appreciated a properly made bed with a quilt or duvet as the blanket and sheet provided were not warm enough.

I simply felt that I had stepped back in time when I entered the hotel - it was great; Location; the room itself; a hotel supplied bathrobe; shaving mirror; excellent breakfast; the reception and breakfast staff; so much natural light in the breakfast room; excellent room temperature controlled by the hotel itself despite the freezing temps outside; subway a short walk away and bus stop even shorter
The bathroom although clean did have someone else's hairs on the floor under the sink and that was the only issue that the hotel could have prevented; everything else I am going to mention are not truly faults but simply facts of an old world hotel's charms; the toilet is so tight up against the wall making it awkward; stairs only within hotel so keep that in mind and also stairs will have to be climbed from the sidewalk/street just to get into the hotel; the view from room was non-existent but it was somewhat on the quieter side of the hotel; the walls are paper thin and street noise could be an issue, but the guests that weekend were quite respectable; no fridge but that was expected; not an issue for me but you will be dealing with an actual physical key throughout your stay

What a fantastic stay at this boutique hotel. Initially, I was looking for something reasonable in price and found this place, I read the reviews and thought they sounded amazing for such a reasonably priced location. This hotel went above and beyond. We were greeted by the most friendly staff who told us about the hotel, and how it began. It’s a gorgeous location. The staff was wonderful, and the breakfast that was included was amazing. It filled us up for the day. I would hands-down recommend this hotel to anyone as a matter fact, I’m looking into booking another stay there in the next little while.
There were absolutely no complaints. I loved everything about it.
