Exceptional cleanliness in the room. Hotel staff very kind. The Metro station ( Sherbrooke) is about 10 minutes from the hotel. The main attractions are quite far away if you walk.

The furniture is old. The doors were all creaking. The bed, although comfortable, made noises with any movement. The room I received was facing inland, it was not a pleasant landscape.Very poor breakfast. We stayed 5 nights and had the same breakfast every day. Maybe because we are Europeans, we prefer a breakfast that also contains - bacon, ham, sausages, tomatoes, cucumbers, cottage cheese, cheese. Unfortunately, there were only boiled eggs with a piece of butter, the rest only sweets, croissants, cereals.

Loved everything about the house. Old world charm. Great friendly staff could have stayed longer but after 7 days had to depart for next stage of adventure. Sat outside in the evenings cafe table and chairs in near garden at front. Wine available at reception. Coffee and tea/hot chocolate available all day. Surprised at how quiet location was as it is situated just off main road. Walked everywhere so great location for our stay. Breakfast pastries/croissant 🥐/ cake/ cheese sausages /boiled egg/ mixed fruit/yogurt and dried fruits selection.

Nice breakfast but because we stayed for a week it was repetitive would have loved some whole fruit.

It was an absolutely excellent location where one could walk or take a brief transit ride to almost anywhere in the city. Charming old ‘Grand Dame’ mansion house filled with antiques and fabulous period architectural features. Staff were welcoming, gracious and very accommodating. Requests were filled on the spot and the breakfast was ample, lovely local sausage, fresh fruit salad, and wonderful waist-challenging pastries and breads all served in a beautifully appointed breakfast room. C’etait merveilleux!

Nothing. The weather was extremely hot when we were there so our room was a bit warm even with the air conditioning but they supplied a fan immediately and then it was fine. We did find our beds a bit narrow but are both small sized people so it wasn’t a big problem; however it may be for some tall or larger sized travellers.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Manoir Sherbrooke, for the Formula 1 weekend in Montreal, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. The location was excellent, close to public transportation and the rooms uniquely designed with a Vintage touch I love. But what truly made the experience exceptional was the incredible warmth and hospitality of the staff. From check-in to check-out, every member of the team went above and beyond to make me and my husband feel welcome. The front desk staff greeted us with genuine smiles and offered great local recommendations. It's rare to find a hotel where the service feels this personal and heartfelt. I never felt like “just another guest” — instead, I felt like a valued visitor. If you’re looking for a place where comfort meets sincere hospitality, Manoir Sherbrooke is it. I can’t wait to return.

I have no complains.

The staff really went above and beyond, super nice and super friendly, provided us with very useful advice regarding inexpensive parking as well as where to buy what we needed. The breakfast was very tasty, a wide choice of pastry, which was fresh and crispy. There was no ham nor veggies, which is something we typically eat for breakfast, but crispy croissants with PB&J made up for it. The staff made us feel welcome and provided us with adapters as the ones we'd brought didn't fit. Overall very pleasant stay which hugely contributed to our satisfaction with our holiday in Canada.

The hotel is lovely. The ambience, the rooms… it’s beautiful and cozy, and impeccably clean. I liked the breakfast that had a variety of breads, jams, and others. And the location was perfect to walk to the attractions I wanted to visit. But the most pleasant thing of all was the staff. They are so nice and helpful, they make you feel at home. I would love to come back to the Manoir, thank you for a lovely stay!

What a gem the Manoir Sherbrooke is. Perfectly located with easy access to public transport and local restaurants of all kinds and from the moment we arrived Frédéric and his staff made us feel very welcome.❤️ We stayed there twice in our first trip to Canada and are so glad we made this choice. Our first room was beautiful, no lifts in this hotel so there are plenty of stairs, as it is a converted house. The bathroom was a good size and we had everything we needed in our room.❤️ Complementary tea/coffee and hot chocolate was available in the dining room. Ice was available upon request. The hosts were happy to talk about local sights and mark them on a map along with the best routes to take. There was a train station nearby and a bus stop out the front which was very convenient.❤️ The second time we stayed here on returning to Montreal we were upstairs and had a view out the front bay window, this room also had a table and chairs in the window. It too was lovely. Again the room was clean and it had a good bathroom with everything we needed. The breakfast was a french inspired buffet and consisted of boiled egg, sausage, pastries and bread for toast with coffee tea and orange juice also served. ❤️ Carol the breakfast host was very friendly and described herself as a good paparazzi taking pictures of guests at breakfast on request. Nothing was too hard for Frédéric and his team in helping making our stay(s) in Montreal a memorable experience. Thanks mate 😉!

Everything was perfect!

I loved everything about this hotel. It is a convenient location to St Laurent BLVD, several bus stops, the metro. The breakfast was very good with pastries and protein and traditional Quebec foods. The beds were very comfortable, pillows were fantastic. What really took the cake for me though were the staff. This hotel employs some of the most kind, lovely, helpful people in all of Montreal. They really go above and beyond and after my 6 nights stay, I left feeling like family. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable and the hotel is also very quiet, which is really nice.

There is no individual temperature control in your room as the heating is central (this is a very old building, which is part of the charm), so in winter it can be quite warm inside (for me, but i like a cold room). This was manageable for me as i had packed shorts and I opened my window at night and it did not affect my stay really at all.

We were met with a friendly smile from the receptionist. She told us about house and where/when the breakfast was. The room was clean and comfortable, and bigger than expected. The bathroom was quite large also with a big tub but the shower was a hand-held, old-fashioned style. The breakfast had an excellent selection of items to choose from, served at a convenient time. The house is from the late 1800s so has lots of character. The location was perfect for our needs. There are many shops and restaurants within a short walk. We used the bus and metro a couple of times. We were able to store our luggage after checkout since our flight was in the late afternoon.

The staff were exceptionally nice and welcoming, both at the reception and in the restaurants. What stood out the most was the hotel’s unique charm — the decor and overall vibe made me feel like I had stepped back in time, in the best way possible. It beautifully captured the spirit of the old days while still offering modern comfort.

Just a note for future guests: there’s no elevator, so it might be something to consider if you’re traveling with heavy luggage or have mobility concerns. Otherwise, it was a memorable and enjoyable stay! The reception staff helped us in handling our luggage
