The hotel was very modern and clean. Breakfast was very nice. The hotel is located next to the Latin quarter so there was plenty of free activities going on along the streets. Also plenty of bars and restaurants. It’s not far to walk into the old town of Montreal and along the port there are lots of activities for children and teenagers. We enjoyed our stay in Montreal and were very pleased with our choice of hotel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The shower was amazing.

Valet parking charges are quite high. We choice to park in a public car park across the road for half price. The valet service is great if you need to go in and out and are not confident to find an alternative parking facility.

Breakfast was very well presented with a good if not comprehensive choice. All the main items that you would expect from a buffet style breakfast were readily available and was restocked on a regular basis. All the staff were exceptional in their help and assistance, providing an excellent choice of freshly made coffees or teas. The location was exactly what we were hoping for with easy access to Metro & bus routes, the area has an excellent choice of restaurants and eating establishments to suit all tastes and budgets The hotel is of a small boutique style which is exactly what we prefer and like, this is definitely one of the best we have found with all the little extras that make the stay special, the staff are so friendly , helpful and attentive , recommendations were given for eating out which was appreciated. We had a room with balcony which was very well serviced and had all the features you would expect, a wonderful bathroom and good air conditioning ( it was in the late 20's to 30 degrees when we were there). If you are visiting Montreal this place is a little gem - Thank you to all the staff

Struggling with this one - The hotel is not obvious from the road when trying to initially find.

The quality of service from all of the staff was simply amazing from assisting with airport pick up on arrival to organising a departure taxi. The team helped with recommending some excellent restaurants in Montreal and simply nothing was too much trouble. The little extras such as free bottles of water, treats and sunscreen for visitors was a great touch and not often seen. The bar area and Xaviour was just a great place to hang out and catch up after a busy day out at the Formula 1 GP. Breakfast in the mornings was simply spot on and a great way to start your day. Rooms and large spacious and have everything you need for a break in Montreal.

Hotel was comfortable and clean. Mostly young staff who went out of their way to be helpful and were always polite and charming. Good range of facilities but we didn't use them during our stay. Room was large and well appointed with a sunny balcony. Lots of great food outlets and huge variety nearby

Not the most central hotel but within walking distance of bus station, latin quarter for eating, gay village. Dynamic price surge put the price of one extra night booked at short notice during a busy sporting weekend , almost equivalent to the other three nights in total!

I had an incredible stay at St. Thomas Hotel in Montreal! I accidentally booked my stay for May instead of March, but Luca and RV went above and beyond to accommodate me. They managed to adjust my booking seamlessly, which saved me a ton of hassle. Their kindness and professionalism really stood out. The hotel itself is fantastic—beautiful, cozy, and well-located. And a special shoutout to Xavier at the bar! He was awesome—super friendly, attentive, and made some amazing drinks that elevated the whole experience. I highly recommend St. Thomas Hotel for anyone visiting Montreal. Their top-notch service truly makes all the difference!

We stayed for one night to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, and everything was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is stylish, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The location is perfect — close to everything we needed — and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised and touched by their thoughtful attitude. Our room was modern, elegant, and had a stunning view of the city. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, style, and great service!

The room was big, clean, and well-equipped. I appreciated the welcome note and the fact that there was a yoga mat in my room. It's a nice boutique hotel just a 20-minute walk from Old Montreal. The staff was very caring and the cocktail selection at the bar positively surprised me.

I didn't realize at booking that the gym was not inside the hotel. It could have still worked at another time of the year, but I was there during a couple of cold and snowy days, which made it inconvenient for me to take advantage of the gym pass.

Breakfast was amazing! Staff were very friendly and always there to help. I really liked how they communicated via text message which made it easier. They were very on top of things and really enjoyed our stay there. We would definitely come back.

It took us awhile to find the place as there were no clear instruction on where to enter. There was construction at the main entrance. It would have been nice to know this information beforehand.

The bathroom was really nice and spacious with little things to make our stay convenient; the room comes with robes and slippers; members of staff are very friendly; the location is excellent

I wish they had body lotion in the bathroom; also (and this is just nitpicking) wish breakfast included some vegetables or something (just for a more well-rounded meal)

Terrific staff- very responsive and friendly. Wonderful free breakfast. Reasonable valet parking ($35 CAD per night). We also took advantage of the access to the spa (thermal pools, cold plunge, sauna, steam room) at the nearby annex spa (only $25 CAD). In the room, the shower was delightful, the bed mattress was firm and the pillows, too. The king bed was a true king. The room was incredibly comfortable. The neighborhood is right in or next to the latin quarter and you can walk down to the old city. We loved it.

They have an online portal that seems antiquated. I'd recommend skipping it when checking in and just checking in at the front desk.
