Room is very large, and was perfect for a family of four. Location is amazing. Right in the city but off the main drag so not noisy.

Shower temperature would be fine, and then spike hot. We managed this fine, but you have to watch out for it.

The family suite was large and well appointed. It truly exceeded our expectations. The location was also wonderful. I had thought that the site was outside the old town walls and I was thrilled the it was in fact in the old town with an amazing view of the lit up Hotel Frotenac, I've included a picture below of our amazing view from our suite window.

We hadn't realized that our room was in a different building across the street from the spot that we checked in. If the cleaning staff hadn't still been in the building, we would definitely have been confused. I think that this should be listed on the check in envelope.

Good utilitarian room, clean and comfortable. It's a nice older facility, recently remodeled with a modern bathroom.

Check-in was OK, but could have been a nightmare. We arrived at the door which was locked. There was a phone number to call, but it did not answer, went to voice mail. I tried calling a second time and fortunately got an answer with instructions to open the door, get our key, etc. So, not too bad after all. I think that they may have emailed a code, but I didn't have it. Email had been spotty for several days, and I could not access my laptop at the moment anyway. So, to others, be SURE to get the entrance key code beforehand. There was no shelf or grab bar in the shower. I'm not handicapped, but at 83, a shower with no grab bars is a little scary.

The location of the hotel was excellent. We were able to walk with our suitcases to the cruise terminal. We had dinner and breakfast at nice cafes near the hotel. We liked the quaintness of the hotel and the little sitting area with a fireplace.

Checking in was a little worrisome. There was no receptionist and the code that was emailed to me ahead of time did not work. However, there was a phone number to call and a person answered immediately and gave us the code to open the door. It was a little difficult to pull our suitcases up to the second floor where I room was located.

The location was amazing. It was very easy to find. There was so much within walking distance that we never drove anywhere. The room was clean. The suite was large and comfortable enough for all 5 of us. Check out was simple and easy.

The office closes at 4 and we arrived at 4:15, so there was very little interaction between the staff and us. They were however available via phone or text. We were able to get in with out much difficulty. There is no on site parking, however there is a parking lot within 4 blocks.

Great location and comfortable accommodations. Not all amenities listed were offered, but it was fine. Hotel is near many cafés, restaurants, shopping. Be prepared for climbing!

Lack of communication after a small incident with one of the rooms. I would have appreciated an answer to my phone call and booking.com message. Check in and check out were pretty easy.

Close to centre of city. Great staff when you can find them😉

The front room had a broken window(external). The A/C unit was really loud. The phone directory is messed up, selecting English option still connected to French. We were happy to see a staff when we did. As the main staff is located across the street at another hotel, perhaps a direction to go to that hotel for assistance would be beneficial to the guests

I did not receive a code to open the front door. Fortunately another guest saw me and let me in. I literally did not see a single staff person the entire time I was there. There was a reception desk but it was not staffed. When I checked out, I called the hotel number and the voice on the other line told me, a bit brusquely, to leave the key on the reception desk.

Very cute and spacious and clean room overall. The hotel is located in the middle of the old Québec which is amazing if you are a tourist. We just had to go out and walk around. There are restaurants, grocery stores and shopping stores everything around. Very well situated.

You need to bring your toothpast, and the coffee machine was too dusty inside (probably never used by customers in their rooms).

The location was perfect. We did not have a car. So we were thrilled that it was within walking distance to everything. The room was comfortable and cozy. I loved the balcony doors. The manager was absolutely awesome. She was friendly and informative. I would stay there again!

The young lady at front desk could have been friendlier and more helpful.
