The property was beautiful, welcoming, and relaxing.

We stayed in room 270. It had a beautiful balcony which I think I paid a little extra for. However, I hardly used it because it was directly above the AC compressors which were on nonstop creating the feeling I was in the engine room of vessel of some sort. I would have appreciated being forwarned so I could have opted for a different room. Inside the room was fine as long as the doors were shut, which they were since it was so hot.

Goeliche is our go-to place when we need to relax, and has been an essential part of our lives for ten years or more. It is family owned and operated and as such is friendly. Recently the restaurant has been selected by the Beauchamp Gallery in Quebec City as one of the best dining experiences in the area. Our recent stay at Goeliche is our third one this year.

The location was perfect, and the accommodations were quaint. We got a good chuckle out of the window from the shower that opened into the main bedroom area.

The bed was very firm. We even questioned if it was a box spring instead of a mattress. However the hotel was very quiet so we managed a good night sleep regardless.

Great location, rooms faced the river

I booked a superior queen room, and added an additional night to the front end of my stay. They moved us to the “room I had booked” on the 2nd night but it was this terrible comfort room with no space, a very awkward bathroom set up with the sink in the bedroom behind a column (holding up the roof), no closet. When I requested the superior room as I had booked, (and had to show them the Booking.com confirmation) the staff did move me, but did not offer a any sort of refund for the night I spent in the comfort room.

We love both the facilities and the location. We always come back at the same time each year - during the “off season” - so it is wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The hotel staff are always wonderful and helpful - not only about the hotel itself, but about other things in the local area itself.

We have nothing negative to say about the property.

We have stayed at the Goeliche many times over the last several years. We like the location; it is quiet, easy to reach from the city, and very friendly. The river view, the attractive neighborhood is a pleasant place to walk and the inn is family owned.

The internet is a bit spotty, but entirely functional.

The restaurant was fine ,but very small squabble- we ate there 3 nights while we were there for 8 nights, and the soup of the day never changed - it was cream of watercress , and very good the night we arrived - ~ we joked that it should be soup of the week-month ‼️‼️

The restaurant staff was delightful and helpful. Our room was well appointed and large with a fine view of the river.

The bathroom was shut and difficult to move around in. Air conditioning unit was either too cool or too warm for sleeping comfort. Steep entry stairway made it difficult to navigate especially carrying baggage.

Location right on the waterfront across from Quebec. Good restaurant on site. Everyone was extremely nice in both the hotel and restaurant.

It would have been nice to have breakfast served in the restaurant, as an option. It wasn’t a big deal since there were nearby places to grab something to eat.

The location on the île d'Orléans is fabulous. Loved seeing the ships go past our bedroom window. The restaurant was very good. Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight stay.

The room was a bit small and a bit quirky, but fine for one night.
