The rooms were cleaned every day; the shower was great with good hot water/pressure, and the breakfast was fantastic, with a large variety and quick replenishment if anything was empty. They are also accommodating and if you need to leave early for a hike they will give you a breakfast box. The location was also great. There is plenty of street parking if you drive. It was a short walk to the city square, where everything could be found, and the front desk was helpful if any questions arose.

The walls were definitely thin, but they give you earplugs, and overall, we didn't have much of an issue.

Staff were fabulous. Incredibly welcoming and curious. The breakfast was simple and delicious and they will do all they can to make sure that you have something to eat even if you have a very early staff. Rooms lovely and clean and well sized.

Unfortunately Puerto Natales seems to have a lot of dogs which means you can hear them a lot at night and you could certainly hear them at this hotel. That is NOT however the hotel's fault - just something to be aware of. We spoke to other travellers and it seemed to be an issue everywhere.

Location is about 2 blocks from the water, and a 5-15 minute walk to restaurants depending on where you eat in town! Breakfast was nice and the kitchen staff was lovely. Rooms were compact but comfortable and clean. The receptionist helped us a call a taxi two different times and it arrived within 5 minutes. We were able to store our extra luggage at the hotel while we hiked in TdP for 4 days- very much appreciated.

Prior to our hike, we stayed in a room on the first floor and the noise from reception and guests checking echoed down the hall. You can hear showers/toilets flushing from rooms above you. This made it difficult to get a good nights sleep until about midnight. If staying here, I recommend requesting a room on the top floor (no elevator, but much less noise).

The Big Sur is a no-frills, Swedish-style hotel that focuses on comfort and simplicity. After completing the W Trek, it was the perfect place to relax and recover. The rooms are comfortable, providing what you need without unnecessary extras. A great choice for those who appreciate a clean, minimalist atmosphere

The heating in my room could not be turned off

We stayed for 2 nights before our hike and then one night after. The staff are excellent and the hotel is lovely and new and very good. Breakfast is very easy and staff could not be more helpful. Highly recommend.

There are local dogs nearby that can make a racket but this is not something that the hotel is responsible for. It happens in lots of places in Puerto Natales.

Very modern and clean nice breakfast possibility to leave the luggage after check-out it was possible for us to check-in before the regular check-in time!

it‘s not very soundproof. you can hear other guests walking by and open/close their doors. also the bathroom door in our room wasn‘t really closing. the showerhead was stuffed with chalk from the water. after I cleaned it, it worked perfectly 👍🏻

Staff are super helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable and just the right spot in Puerto Natales. It made for a great base as we hiked around Torres Del Paine. Breakfast was also great.

It got a little stuffy and warm at some points as the radiators had been on before we checked in

The hotel is very nice! It is spotless, and it has everything that you might need. The breakfast is very rich and the location is great.

There was no space to put our clothes in the room. It was only a rack, and that caused a lot of discomfort.

Lovely stay. Great room, with a massive comfy bed and wonderful and spacious hot shower. Exactly what we needed after a stay hiking and camping in Torres Del Paine. Breakfast was good and plentiful also.

Rooms aren't well sound insulated, so you do hear noise in the corridor. Although earplugs were provided in the room for use.

Great heating that you could control. Comfortable bed. Hot shower. Good daily cleaning service. Good breakfast with friendly staff. Felt nice, safe, and friendly for a solo traveler.

Thin walls/insulation - could hear noise from the other rooms. I slept with ear plugs and that was fine. The only common area is the breakfast room, which isn't the best for relaxing or working (they kick you out while they clean it after breakfast).
