We enjoyed staying at this hotel and we will miss it. The first impression we had was great, as the staff outside the hotel immediatedly took our luggages when we both checked in and out and they also opened our taxi doors. The staffs overall here are very kind, helpful and always smiling, and the reception man who speaks English left us especially with a great impression. The interior is stunning and the room also met our expectations, which we looked very forward to. Also, the breakfast was really delicious and left us satisfied. We will miss our stay this hotel as we truly enjoyed our short time here!

Our room had a faulty bathroom door. It did not close properly so water leaked outside the floor. I also expected more staffs to speak basic English as Sofitel is an international chain, but it was doable with translation app, and it helps that the non-english speaking staffs tried their best to accommodate our needs.

It was brilliant. Our room was incredible, the staff were lovely and so welcoming and attentive. We were able to communicate well even though I do not speak Chinese . I was thrilled with my stay here and if I am in Beijing again I will make sure to book this hotel. It is a beautiful hotel, gorgeous room with a circle tub in the room. Ambient lighting that can be colour changed x exceptionally clean and I will definitely reccomend to others ! Thankyou so much for great hospitality and service

Nothing could’ve been better it was perfect

Room was spacious and had a nice view. Fairly central location also. Room that we were in had a hot tub which was nice after a long day out. Breakfast was probably one of the best spreads we’ve had in China.

Didn’t get much help with tourist attractions at the hotel itself. Concierge gave us a ridiculous price for a day trip to Great Wall so we had to do some searching ourselves.

The room was very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The breakfast offered various options, both Western and local style. The staff was always ready to help and very cooperative (a special thanks to Mr. Jason, who helped me deliver a package to a distant address in Beijing and followed up later to make sure everything ran smoothly).

The breakfast room was a bit crowded sometimes, but I was always able to find a seat, and the staff was helpful.

The staff is very helpful. The room was comfortable with all necessities for a good rest. The breakfast was delicious, full of big variety. Also the 'Happy Hour' snack time was actually a proper dinner time 😄 Will definitely be back!

The counter staff who helped me check in was probably having a bad day or faced a tricky situation from the previous client. Made me wait for quite a while right in front of her while she was busy typing away on the phone, while my toddler was crying right behind me due to long train ride and needed some rest. Even though I told her I was checking in which she acknowledged first but then ask again if I was collecting luggages. After that commanded for passports and gave me instructions in a pretty rude way. First time experiencing it this way in a five star hotel, made me wonder if it’s really Sofitel. Probably need some training to handle service better.

Location is great, short 3min walk to Line1 metro. Rooms are comfortable, staff tried their best to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast buffet provides variety, have a special section just for Beijing snacks.

Weird bathtub in the middle of the room which from my understanding is from when it’s W hotel. Also weird scratches on the wall, probably due to poor material choice.

The location is great to connect metro line1 and 2 which links most of inner Beijing areas. The room is HUGE and the bed is so comfortable.

Not sure about the breakfast. The coffee was way too cold for my taste as they use cold milk according to one waiting staff. Not many Beijing local food. The pastry was just OK.

Loved the bathtub and bed. The cleaning staff on the 12th floor was phenomenal...always polite and checking up on our comfort.

There were kids running up and down the hallway a few mornings at 6am. That was a bit challenging when you were on vacation and wanted to sleep in a bit. Also the room was a bit worn... but still nice decor. .

Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast offered a great variety, and the hotel was close to many restaurants serving delicious food at very reasonable prices.

You need to wear a swimming cap in the pool, and the sauna must be used without clothing.
