The rooms are quite large for Beijing centre hotel and is located 3 mins walk from the Beijing Railway metro (Line 2). It has good connections to all the places of attractions and Exit B is nearest to the hotel. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh silky linens and all bath towel replaced. The hotel foyer is quite impressive with marble flooring and a baby grand piano. We asked reception to book a metered taxi to take us to the airport and it arrived within 4 minutes, which was very impressive. There are lots of noodle shops nearby and if you come out from Exit A you will find a large convenient store for snack and water at very reasonable prices.

The rooms were quite warm despite setting the temperature to cool. We had to ask for the windows which were locked to be open for air circulation and even then it was quite hot. It would be excellent if the hotel provided portable fans to cool the room down during warm Spring weather. We didn't try the breakfast because it was quite expensive at RMB128 per person. A big bowl of beef soup noodle from outside would typically cost ~ RMB36-42 per person. There should be a preferential rate for hotel guests to allow them to try the restaurant.

Clean, spacious rooms. Breakfasts with a good choice. Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff.

During early check-in, one of the receptionists refused to check us into a room. When booking, I indicated in advance that I needed early check-in. He suggested waiting for check-in for almost 5 hours in the lobby. He said that all the rooms were occupied. After 10 minutes, I approached another receptionist and he quickly offered a free room for an additional fee. This means that the first employee refused to help me and lied about the rooms being occupied.

Excellent location outside a subway exit for Beijing Train Station Good soundproofing. My large window faced the inner courtyard and I basically had no traffic noise. The Chinese restaurant is decent when it's not closed for events. Small supermarket one block away (facing train station) for buying fruit.

Chinese restaurant was closed for a conference, and the other restaurant only had Western food. The refrigerator is "room temperature" and cannot be used for refrigerating leftovers. No cover outside when getting into a taxi, so you get wet in the rain. No service people outside to help you get into the right taxi. I had some issues that required maintenance work. Would have been better if that had been done before I arrived. Note that Chinese name is Bao Chen Hotel. People know this in English as Paragon Hotel (versus Howard Johnson Paragon Hotel.) Prices can jump a lot if you decide to extend your stay if they are almost full.

Our family of four stayed five nights in a spacious family suite. It was a lovely appointed space with ample room for everyone and very comfy beds. Super breakfast was available with lots of choices. Excellent central location, close to the main Beijing Railway Station, Starbucks and Waggas. Well-equipped gym onsite with 24-hour access. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Clark and Larry. Clark was very attentive and arranged an excellent tour to The Great Wall of China that we all thoroughly enjoyed and helped us find our departing train.. Larry was our Floor Manager who gave us a tour of the facilities. He went out of his way to help us find a guitar shop to buy a travel guitar for our son. Thank you everyone for a wonderful stay.

As a foreigner, with limited language, we were stuck at a strange location at 3 am unable to call for a taxi and public transport did not work. We called the hotel if they could pick us up as we were trying for over 2 hours. Luckily the night shift manager, Jack, found a solution for us and picked us up! We are very grateful that he was able to do this!!! I would recommend this place due to the hospitality of the staff.

The hotel is in an excellent location well connected by the Circular Metro Station just outside the hotel as well as Beijing main Railway Station. The room was very comfortable and has a lot of space, very clean. Water bottles provided every day and with a kettle and a minibar it was a perfect room. The shower had nice water pressure and hot water as well

Sometimes if the neighboring room occupants are loud you can hear a little bit but not that discomforting. When having a shower with the high pressure the water would collect before it drains not a discomfort but for the plumbing to check out

We loved the big familiy suites, as you don't get too many of them in Beijing, and it ticked most of our boxes. It was very spacious, and the two separate bathrooms and areas (and mini lounge area in the middle) was great. The breakfast buffet was a winner every morning, and the staff very friendly. The other big positive about the property is that it's right next to one of the main train stations in Beijing, making it a great and easy place to make use of public transport.

We struggled with the aircon in the room. It was winter in Beijing, and the hotel overrides the aircon during this time, and only pumps in hot air into the room, and they control it. It was way too hot for us, and our children struggled to sleep as it was just too hot for them. We would have liked full control of the aircon (like in other hotels) and set it as we want it to our personal needs. The hotel couldn't change the settings for the aircon, but they were accommodating to bring in a standalone standing fan, where you put ice and water at the bottom, and it blows out cold air. Not ideal for a big hotel room like what we had, but at least helped a little bit. I would say this was the biggest negative for us, and impacted us quite a bit.

The hotel is amazing, with a beautiful entrance, and the staff are incredibly polite and always ready to help. I had bought food outside, but when I got to the hotel, it was cold. I called reception, and they kindly asked the hotel restaurant to heat up my food. The room is excellent, with a lovely view, very clean, and the breakfast is great, offering many choices. I think I gained a few kilos, haha!

The television was the only weak point. It didn’t have the main channels, and the image quality was poor. Considering the excellent level of service at the hotel, the TV in the room felt a bit out of place.

The front desk staff and the housecleaning staff were friendly and helpful. The Milan Gold coffee in the room was the best hotel coffee I've ever had. The buffet breakfast was excellent, but a bit pricy at $18.00 USD. $10.00 or $12.00 USD would have been more in line. The Line 2 subway station Exit B is only a 3 to 5-minute walk from the hotel lobby.

The heating/AC in the room could not be turned on until May 1, according to hotel personnel. The room became a bit too warm although the staff provided a cooling fan for the room. The windows could not be opened for fresh air. Also, the hotel free Wi-Fi did not work in the lobby or bar. It worked fine in the room.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The subway station is just a 2 min walk around the corner. The central railway station is across the bridge. It’s easy to get around the city using public buses nearby. Breakfast was nice and tasty. Daily cleaning service. A pleasant discount if you decide to have dinner on the 5th floor. The staff are helpful and friendly. They offered me an early morning check in and as it was my birthday, I got a birthday card from General manager and a birthday cake with macaroons and berries. That was really awesome and definitely made my day so special and happy. Thank you so much!
