We were very positively surprised. Perfect for first arrival in Beijing after a long flight. The room was very large with an extra working desk and a fantastic view on the CCTV and other buildings. See the fotos. Also fantastic was the pool, great value! All personnel was very friendly and also the receptionist spoke english. The location is also very good, it is right next to a subway station and there are two shopping malls nearby with a lot of eateries in the basements. I'd recommend "The Place": about 5min walk to the west. Several Starbucks close by, one on the backside.

The reason for going to Starbucks was the high price for breakfast in the hotel. Other reports were very positive, so maybe it's worthwhile, but if you like just a coffe and a sandwich in the morning, than the Starbucks is a better value.

The hotel was absolutely fantastic; we love Beijing and Grand Millennium Beijing to the moon and back. Everything is so well done; there are six elevators in continuous operation from the 1st floor to the 27th floor at all times. Our room was on the 15th floor, and it had the most incredible view. We had two lovely large 1.5-meter beds and a separate walk-in closet room, as well as a fantastic large bathroom with a beautiful bathtub that offered a view over the entire city, along with a lovely separate shower and toilet. The rooms were equipped with the best quality amenities, including a nice TV, refrigerator, snacks, hairdryer, ironing set with iron, and much more. Essentially, everything you would expect from a five-star hotel. Grand Millennium Beijing truly lives up to all its five stars and is definitely recommended to anyone visiting Beijing. The cleaning by the hotel staff is also absolutely fantastic; the maids are incredibly quick. While we were downstairs enjoying the delicious breakfast from about 9:30 to 10:20, the maids had already been there and done all the work to perfection. We even received new toilet paper even though we weren’t out. The breakfast was absolutely 10/10; it had everything you could expect. There was breakfast for everyone and every culture from around the world. We are Norwegians and like a classic English breakfast with eggs and bacon, which we definitely got. There was breakfast for everyone, meant for all different cultures. The location was also excellent, right in the Chaoyang district, which is in the heart of Beijing's center. We are very satisfied with how helpful the lady at the reception was, who could speak English and helped us from day one, from withdrawing money at the ATM in the lobby to the taxi driver who couldn’t speak English and waited, she has been of great help to us every single day, also helping us with tickets to the museum on a later occasion. Kind Regards Henrik & Jane from Norway.

Nothing could have been better; everything met our expectations. The only downside was that the swimming pool was unfortunately closed and under renovation this summer. It was a bit disappointing, but that's just how it is; it needs an upgrade now and then :-)

A bathtub with a view! Do I need to say more? A bathtub with a full view and wonderful equally at night and during daylight. The room was not only spacious but next thing. This is a luxury hotel for sure. I had one issue with billing tho which is the reason I didn't give it a full 10 but the hotel is amazing.

Just billing was odd and I was charged double on my credit card for the days I stayed. I had to pay directly to the hotel not through booking to be specific. But still it's annoying to have do to banking stuff when you're back from you holiday.

nice view from 27th floor, free snacks/happy hour, generous breakfast, so close to subway station and shopping mall, room condition is ok, staff is welcome, lobby and the inner halls of the hotel are beautiful.

furniture and overall room is outdated, signs of tear and wear in many places, dirty windows from outside, breakfast is running low if you arrive close to the end of it (10:00), most of staff don’t speak English, air condition either blow too much or no blowing at all

Everything was superb. From the reception upon checking in to calling for a ride to the airport, the service was impeccable. The room was spacious and well decorated with comfortable furnishings and a luxurious bed. As for the dining there is a very impressive breakfast buffet serving a freshly made complete menu of delicious traditional breakfast dishes along with a few gourmet selections. For lunch and dinner there are several options. I highly recommend trying the grilled lamb kidney skewers, and enoki mushrooms from the bar.

The only thing I might change, is the sunroom lobby opening time. I recommend Joy’s Beijing Tours who would meet me there between 8-8:30am however the lobby opens at 9am.

Great location, nice views and good range of food. club lounge was adequate.

Attitude of some staff members. We are in 2024….stop with the white culture worship. it’s saddening and pathetic to see. Plain rude how some staff were given preferential treatments to people based on their skin tones, while we couldn’t even get a simple hello when walking in and out. I stayed at the JW Marriot Beijing Central a couple of days before and the service and attitude was a huge difference.

Located in the middle of the central business district in Beijing. Compared with several other hotels around, this one has a fairly good price. Staffs at reception and concierge and for room services are very friendly. Although some of the facilities in the room are little bit wearing, but are all very clean and well maintained. The concierge services are superb, which can help guests who do not have a Chinese mobile phone number and payment system to call a taxi or sending express postals. Staffs are ver friendly and professional. Has variety of food to choose for breakfast. There are several Chinese and Western restaurants and bars

High class hotel, large & extremely comfortable bed with good pillow options, quality towels and bathroom amenities. Separate shower and toilet cubicles for absolute privacy; fabulous water pressure in shower; large bath-tub with view out over financial district. Several dining options in nearby area. Conveniently located only a short walk from Jintai Xizhao metro station. Extensive menu options at breakfast; Adili at front desk was very welcoming and courteous allowing us early access to our room.

I was absolutely delighted with my stay at Millenium Beijing. The location is perfect, offering easy access to the city center. The staff went above and beyond, providing excellent advice and arranging taxis, ensuring a seamless experience. The room was immaculate, spacious, and boasted and exceptional view. The level of cleanliness and comfort exceeded my expectations. While I didn't have the chance to dine at the hotel's restaurants, there's a nice coffee shop near the reception that's perfect for busy mornings. The staff also recommended a great place to enjoy Peking duck, and there are many dining options around the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

I wouldn't change a thing. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing, whether for vacation or business.

Room and breakfast were both great. Great location. The housekeeping staff was great. The check in and check out staff were great, too.

Some front desk staff were confused about our breakfast coverage in the second day. I paid for three adults breakfast and was confirmed when checking in, but when we went to breakfast the next day, the restaurant staff questioned us. I had to walked to the front desk and they had to wait till the booking staff to come to work to figure out. The other part I didn't like is the expensive restaurant on the first floor across the main gate. The food quality and tastes were so so, and they were overpriced. The overweight female staff (seemed like a manager) was not friendly at all. When we left the restaurant and she walk towards us, but said nothing and had a poker face on.
