I had an exceptional stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were extremely kind and polite during check-in, making me feel welcome right away. The room was spacious, and the bedding was of excellent quality-both the sheets and pillows were incredibly soft and silky, leaving a lasting impression. The dining team was warm and attentive, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious, fresh options. I also had a great experience at the spa; both the receptionist and the therapist were professional, and the treatment was excellent. Having stayed at many five-star hotels, I can say this one offers great value for money with both its facilities and service. The hotel's central location is also a big plus, making it easier to explore the city. 酒店软硬件俱佳,早餐丰盛,服务人员亲切礼貌,性价比高

However, there are a couple of small areas for improvement. The concierge desk is located on the left side of the entrance, while the luggage station is on the right. Guests often only notice the luggage station and miss the concierge desk, and it would be helpful if the signage or direction to the concierge were clearer. Additionally, the room phone cannot directly connect to the concierge, which can be a bit inconvenient. Lastly, it would be a nice touch if black coffee were served with a glass of iced water on the side.

This was likely our third stay at The Peninsula Beijing. Each time, I feel they remember you with a quiet and refined attentiveness. This time, we were placed in a beautifully structured suite — spacious, calm, and perfectly in rhythm. We ordered a few simple dishes through in-room dining, and they turned out to be a delightful surprise. I particularly want to mention the kung pao chicken (宮保雞丁) and the stir-fried rice noodles with beef (乾炒牛河) — both were prepared with great care in both ingredients and execution. These are the kinds of dishes that make you want to stay in and enjoy them slowly. The kung pao chicken (宮保雞丁), a classic, was made in an exceptionally authentic way. At the spa, I had both a facial and a full-body massage. The facial products were beautifully chosen — subtle in scent and wonderfully calming. The therapist’s pace and technique were also thoroughly professional. This is the kind of hotel that truly allows you to unwind — the kind of place I find myself returning to, again and again.

The welcome was elegant and professional from the very beginning. Our room was exceptionally quiet, clean, and thoughtfully arranged. Housekeeping and laundry services were remarkably efficient and discreet — everything was handled seamlessly without ever feeling intrusive. Breakfast and afternoon tea were both outstanding in quality, selection, and presentation. The overall level of service reflected a truly world-class five-star standard, delivered with quiet excellence and invisible precision.

This is not a criticism, but rather a personal suggestion: The afternoon tea area near the lobby could benefit from a more relaxed lounge-style setting. Sitting at dining tables very close to the check-in counter occasionally felt slightly busy, making it a little harder to unwind fully. Additionally, while the hotel offers other services such as spa treatments and curated experiences, these were not proactively introduced during the stay. A discreet in-room guide or elegant information folder could help guests better explore what the hotel has to offer — especially for those who may not be inclined to ask directly.

Cleanliness: My room was immaculately clean and well-maintained, with attention to every detail. Service: The staff at The Peninsula Beijing were consistently polite, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Breakfast: The semi-buffet breakfast offered a wide range of delicious options, and the food quality was outstanding. Location: The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, with the famous Wangfujing Street just a short stroll away. Perfect for shopping, dining, and exploring the city! Overall, I highly recommend The Peninsula Beijing to anyone seeking a luxurious and memorable stay in the heart of Beijing. The combination of exceptional service, comfortable accommodations, and prime location makes

We stayed in The Peninsula Beijing for more than a week and it was excellent! Everything from the first minute was fantastic. The best and very central location, the breakfast, room facilities and staff. Especially I would like to mention a wonderful concierge team, who helped us not only with exploring Beijing, but with different and sometimes unusual questions related to our health conditions. Anytime when we needed help: sightseeing, restaurant recommendations, traveling to other cities in China and even medical facilities, the best and very knowledgeable concierge team, especially Lambert, Kurt and Jason were incredible! We will 100% come back to this hotel when we travel to Beijing again. It was one of the best experiences and I really enjoyed the service.

In a hectic city like Beijing this hotel is great to have as base camp. The location is great, walking distance to a pedestrian shopping street and forbidden city and also a few minutes to the metro (taxis are cheap, but with traffic metro can be more convenient). The suite was great, with all needed amenities (including masks included case of fire emergency, something we never saw before). Breakfast is great, with buffet and some dishes from a menu (included in the price). There’s a large indoor swimming pool. Best however is the staff, always helpful. At arrival we were welcomed outside, we got a room upgrade, and macarons and fruit in the room.

We loved everything! From the second we alighted from our vehicle at the hotel, our experience at the Peninsula has been nothing short of FANTASTIC. As soon as we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted by a bevy of staff who were already waiting to receive us. They handled our luggage efficiently and ushered us warmly up to our room to complete the check-in procedures. I booked two rooms for me and my family. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed and exceptionally clean. Staff was always eager and happy to assist with any questions we had. I had to purchase a few essential items for my 6 month old baby while we were staying in Beijing and the concierge team went above and beyond by purchasing the items for me on their mobile phone via an app (similar to Ubereats or Instacart) and personally delivering the purchased items to my room when they arrived. I am blown away by the Peninsula and the exceptional service and stay we received. Well done to the entire team!

Breakfast with a lot of choices for every taste. Perfect location for sightseeing and shopping. Subway very close. Transferservice if needed. Rooftop bar with interesting cocktails. Large indoor pool for relaxing. It was for us the perfect place for some intense sightseeing days. Beijing had far more to offer than we thought before.Thank you for a very nice time! I stayed at the Peninsula first about 30 years ago & loved the facilities. The Peninsula provided all necessary supplies in the room, from jogging map, full stationary, tea pot with warmer basket, etc. The renovation was extremely well done, attention to details in all aspects was not spared. Clear labels on all the equipments inside drawers. Full stationaries included high lighter, even nail setter was provided. Two types of bathrobes, functional sitting room, lots of panels for lightings for people with different living habits, user friendly smart boards for easy communication. The staffs are attentive and easy to communicate. We were able to swab for a full in room dining breakfast (before regular available time) for the breakfast buffet since we had an early morning flight. The staffs at breakfast and check in counter were both very friendly and clear with instructions. I was most pleasantly surprised how they preserved the old world charm & thoughtfulness.

The staff are very nice and helpful and the room is spacious. The most good thing I would like mention is that the room can be very comfortable and quite as we can adjust the temperature and fan grade - seems like a standard for five-star hotel? To be honest, quite a lot high-end hotels we booked could not meet this requirement.

I like the hotel. I didn't see any obvious shortcomings during my stay.
