The hotel is located near all the main tourist attractions and close to shopping malls, making it a convenient base for exploring Beijing. The service was outstanding, especially from the concierge service manager, who was exceptionally helpful. She spoke excellent English and assisted with booking tickets while providing great recommendations for dining and sightseeing. A thoughtful touch was the complimentary fruit bowl upon arrival, which was a refreshing welcome. The hotel room was spacious, and the buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of both local and Western cuisine.

The only minor drawback is that the room décor feels slightly dated.

The hotel is as good as expected for a Regent Hotel. The great added value is Yina from the concierge. She helped us a lot to make our stay perfect. Any day good advices for tours, restaurants and any little need. She really gives her best to exceed the guests' expectations. I wish there was a Yina in every hotel :)

Concierge has not so good English skills

The Regent is a solid, comfortable hotel, with good location. I enjoyed my stay there, and I appreciated the attention to detail from the staff, special thanks for my lovely little birthday cake! I also liked the gym, which is important to me, and the clean facilities. Altogether, reliable, and smooth experience. The breakfast was nice, both Chinese and Western cuisine, well catered.

The staff's communication in English could be better, but I appreciated how most of the staff went out of their way to assist me, and in a courteous, elegant way. I am also fully aware of the fact that China has plenty of internal tourism, so they are not desperate for foreign tourists, and their primary clientele is Chinese. I think our expectations as Westerners should be recalibrated in this sense.

The staff is very kind, super helpful. The rooms are clean and organized. The hotel is very beautiful and has a good ambiance.

The brunch left me with a bad impression. We had a butterfly bubble brunch and the fried food came out extremely oily, which made it hard to eat. And the server kept speaking over our food, coming and going, putting his face on our food, that is super unhygienic as saliva particles can go to the food. That was very bad.

Overall, this hotel is great. The room was spacious and clean, with an amazing location. The Club Lounge was a highlight, especially the unique breakfast offerings—truffle scrambled eggs with caviar were a standout!

The key system needs use an update ASAP; I had to visit reception six times in six days because the elevator requires a key. Also, the rooms feel a bit outdated, and there’s a language barrier with some staff. For any detailed requests, it’s best to communicate with the front desk.

It was very clean, very luxurious, everyone was very professional and friendly. The brunch/breakfast was more than outstanding.

We had to wear capes for the pool and they were only available for purchase. This should have been something which should have been communicated prior. Also, we booked the Lei Garden restaurant which has 1 Michelin. This was a very disappointing experience. Firstly the staff couldn’t speak English, then they ran out of quite a few dishes which also included wines, the dishes were interesting, but quite bland. On leaving the restaurant no one came to our table to say Bye. And there were more. My husband is a chef and works for hatted restaurants, all of the above are criterias Michelin. I would definitely not recommend the Lei Garden restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Regent Beijing Hotel and I must say it was an excellent experience. The location of the hotel is perfect, with easy access to major attractions and transportation. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment to unwind after a long day of exploring the city. Overall, I had a wonderful stay at the Regent Beijing Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area

We took a taxi from airport to hotel for <100 RMB within 30 minutes amid heavy traffic. The hotel is just 5 minutes away from the train station on Line 5 which we didn't use and 20 minutes to Wangfujian area on foot. The staff are excellent, from bell boy to the front desk to the housekeeping staff, friendly, approachable and all ready to help with all enquiries. The room is big and spacious with all the necessities. Will definitely consider staying at the Regent again if the opportunity arise.

Location was perfect for walking around and for using the metro. Very safe area. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly and attentive staff. Great views. Would recommend

Minor points as we really enjoyed the stay and would recommend -Breakfast was good but expensive. We only took the breakfast on one morning. Could get similar in local restaurants. Did ask for concierge help to get to a specific part of the Great Wall - they wanted to suggest the area closest to Beijing though which we didn’t want. We ultimately booked separately ourselves.
