The hotel was in a great location just off Wangfujing walking street and near a few subway options making it super easy to get to the forbidden city, tinnamen square and more! The room was really spacious too and we had a great upgrade!

The hotel was a little dated and some parts could be cleaner but nothing problematic, it was a nice stay. One note for travellers using apps like Google maps & Apple Maps is that this hotel has 3 different names online! It used to be called The Crowne Plaza (still is on Google Maps) and on Apple Maps it is called the International Yiyuan Hotel, both of which have the same address that is on here of 48 Wangfujing Street. This is not the hotel’s fault as they obviously don’t use these apps in China but worth noting as we found it a little hard to find!

Excellent location, everything is nearby that is necessary for a longer stay. Good breakfast, friendly staff mostly . Concierge was amazing with helping to book attractions for my wife’s birthday and did it so quickly, thank you thank you.

Some staff are quite stressed and seemingly have a lot of work, which leads to very short and frustrated exchanges. It isn’t the best when you are on holidays. It seems some staff could use more support, but regardless please maintain a pleasant demeanour even if things are frustrating. Also our bathroom the tiling was darker and dirtier than I was expecting, I think it needs a good scrub as the dirt is engrained.

The hotel has a great location - right in the centre, so you can reach many central locations on foot. The rooms are large and have all the expected facilities. The cleaning service was impeccable. The reception staff were very, very friendly and nice. We were able to communicate very well in English and all our questions were answered in detail. What definitely deserves a special mention is the breakfast! Fantastic! I've been to China 5 times and visited many hotels - this is the best I've experienced so far. The coffee is really delicious and flavoursome and the hawthorn juice (tried there for the first time) is super tasty. The ambience in the hotel is very nice and the lounge is very comfortable. A recommendation without hesitation from me!

The staff spoke good English and were always very helpful. Great range of food for breakfast. Th food was always fresh and delicious.

The fixtures in the bathroom were a little tired. The fixture that diverted the water from running into the bath and into the shower was very hard to use and the bath took a long time to drain.

Superb location withing attractions in ring 1 such as Forbidden City, subway station (nearest exit is Jin yu Hutong station located within YinTai Shopping Mall) located 200m walk away. Minimart and Luckin Coffee at the lobby as plus point. Room is spacious enough to fit 2 large luggage easily. Hotel reception speaks good english, porter is helpful with the luggage. If the above is more important to you travelling, then the outdated hotel decor shouldn’t be an issue. Bathtub looks worn out so standing shower will be recommended. Hotel buffet breakfast with int and local varieties can be improved further.

My stay at this hotel in Beijing was absolutely comfortable. The room was spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The front desk service was outstanding, and the concierge was especially helpful — thank you very much! The staff overall were very polite and attentive. In terms of cleanliness, I would rate it a 7 out of 10 — clean, but there’s room for improvement. The building itself is not the newest, which shows in the condition of the furniture — many pieces were worn or damaged. However, this did not affect my personal comfort during the stay. The hotel is large and located right in the city center, directly on the pedestrian street, which is very convenient. I definitely recommend it!

The hotel is well located,near Wanfujing street where there are the main brandstores, various restaurants nearby.... The breakfast is various and amazing. We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and will choose it if we come back again to beijing. Also the staff is so helpful. Especially the reception guys Mr Jack Li and Kobe Zhang. And also the young guy at the main door who is helping with luggage. Also the girls ta reception ( I don't remember their names). .

The only think I would recommend, is that they renew some of installations. But this is not a big deal compared to location/ price

Not bad in total. Beds are very comfy. Stuff was trying to be helpful. The location is good.

The main problem was to find the hotel- the search on the apple maps will show you wrong location :( and the fact that noone can or wants to talk to foreigners was making it quite stressful. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned, toilet seat was obviously dirty. They tried to fix the issues, they just don't understand what you want ( language barrier ), after coming for cleaning twice , eventually I cleaned the seat myself. It was cold, no central heating, just a heater which wasnt even plugged in. Rooms need some refreshment.

Location was brilliant, all the staff were so helpful. Nothing was a problem.

The bed in our room was quite firm which didn’t suit my wife’s back, I word to the front desk on the morning saw us changed to another room with a softer bed. The staff and management were brilliant in the way and ease that they sorted this out for us.
