The private bath in the room was one of my favorite features — soaking in it during the winter was incredibly soothing and allowed me to unwind after a busy day. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, ensuring a peaceful and restful sleep. 🛁💤 Furthermore, the service at the hotel was impeccable. From the front desk to the housekeeping staff, everyone was friendly, professional, and always greeted with a smile, making me feel truly at home. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free. Our family recently had the pleasure of staying at the "Dasein Hotel" in Beijing, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Whether for adults or children, we all felt relaxed and happy, and we highly recommend it to other families looking for a great place to stay! First of all, the hotel’s environment is simply beautiful! From the moment we entered, we were immediately enveloped in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. For the adults, the room design was simple yet cozy, especially the bed, which was perfectly soft and firm, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The children also loved the plants and small decorations in the room, which gave everything a fresh and natural feel. There was plenty of space in the room, making it perfect for families, with no feeling of overcrowding. The public areas of the hotel are also great for family activities. The restaurant’s ambiance is very elegant, spacious, and bright, making it perfect for our family to sit and enjoy a leisurely meal together. The buffet had a wide variety of dishes, allowing the kids to pick their favorites, while the adults were able to enjoy healthy and delicious food. We all left the meal feeling completely satisfied. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and provided excellent service, making for an enjoyable dining experience. The exterior of the hotel is also very distinctive, with a design that beautifully blends modern and traditional elements. During the day, we could enjoy the sunshine, and at night, the lighting created a warm and tranquil atmosphere. While walking outside the hotel, the kids had a great time exploring the small, carefully crafted attractions, feeling as if we had stepped into a peaceful paradise away from the hustle and bustle of the city. What truly touched us the most was the service. Every staff member was incredibly warm and friendly, treating our family like their own.

A Perfect Blend of Tradition and Modern Design, Elegant and Refined First of all, I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's design. It perfectly blends modern and traditional elements, creating a minimalist yet warm atmosphere that makes you feel incredibly relaxed. Every detail in the room feels exquisite and artistic, especially the elegant decorations and soft lighting that make you feel like you're in a tranquil haven. Having lived abroad for a long time, every time I return to an environment with such a strong Beijing local flavor, a sense of warmth and belonging naturally rises within me. For someone who has been away from home for years, experiencing this deep-rooted local atmosphere in a hotel is truly an indescribable feeling of comfort. The hotel not only offers modern amenities but also incorporates traditional Beijing elements, such as calligraphy on the walls and antique decor, allowing me to feel the pulse of history and cultural depth. This design offers not only visual enjoyment but also spiritual solace. An Ideal Location—Enjoying the Tranquility of Beijing’s Hutongs The hotel’s location is also very convenient, situated near the historic hutongs of Beijing, where the surrounding streets are filled with the old flavors of Beijing. Even with the bustling city pace, walking through the hutongs provides a peaceful and leisurely experience that's different from modern life.

The hotel is in a Hutong and has a beautiful courtyard. The rooms are a good size, the duvet and pillows were very comfortable and the sheets, toilet and towels were extremely clean. The floor didn't seem super clean, but it may just be the type of floor that looks like that, and in any case, the hotel provides slippers. The breakfast was average. The location is amazing, very close to the Forbidden City and Dongsi street is very nice with lots of cafes and restaurants and little shops. Would definitely recommend staying here.

What a wonderful property! I absolutely adored my stay at Dasein Youlan and it offered such a peaceful respite from the chaos of Beijing. The gardens are beautiful here, and the rooms are calming, quiet, and spacious. The shower and bathtub were great, in particular, and I appreciated that the staff left many water bottles every morning when cleaning the rooms (it was very hot when I was there). The Wi-Fi worked well in my room. It's in a great location, too, not too far from the metro and close to many of the main tourist attractions in Beijing, and just around the corner from a convenience store. I would absolutely stay here again.

Note that the property's location is incorrect on Apple Maps (but correct on Google Maps), so I ended up in the wrong place when trying to find it! The breakfast also wasn't *amazing*.

As foreign tourists, navigating online reservations and local logistics can be challenging in China, but the team at Dasein Youlan Hotel made it effortless. Every day, they helped us with planning, booking, and preparing our visits to major attractions like the Great Wall and the Temple of Heaven. Their assistance was more thorough and personal than what we have received from concierge services at many 5-star hotels. A special mention goes to the adorable kitty and fluffy dog that occasionally greeted us at the front desk, adding a delightful touch to our stay. While most staff members are not fluent in English, basic interactions were never an issue. For more complex queries, they utilized modern instant translation apps, ensuring clear and effective communication at all times. The rooms, set around a charming small courtyard, were a delight to stay in. Equipped with modern Japan-style toilets and a combined shower-bath-room, the facilities were excellent, though the opening between the bedroom and bathroom could be a minor concern for some. The bed was very comfortable, the windows large and bright, and everything was clean. In conclusion, our experience at Dasein Youlan Hotel was fantastic, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Beijing. The exceptional service and warm hospitality we received made our trip truly memorable.

There are only two things I can think of, that can be seen as "not ideal": 1. Between the bathroom and bedroom, there is an opening, which is only covered by some sort of bamboo curtain. Here, something with more privacy might be needed for some people. However, the showering area is behind the wall, so you can only see the bath tub from the bed/room. 2. On one day, the breakfast room was occupied by an event, so we could take the breakfast at our room or in the courtyard. Unfortunately, the meals were pre-selected, so, in my case, more than half of the dishes were too much made for the Chinese taste and I had to leave quite some food on the plates. Asking before, could have made this easier.

Great location, easy to find and good access to metro. Forbidden city is in walkable distance (about 20-30min). Room is cute, beautiful location with great inner courtyard. Huge bathroom with bath and shower. Very nice breakfast. Staff was very friendly.

A table and chairs would have been beneficial. The air-conditioning could have worked better - it was a bit warm in the room. Staff does not speak English, so I used WeChat translation function a lot.

The location is perfect, only 15mins walk away to Wangfujing pedestrian street. Lots of restaurants and cafe around. 15mins car to Beijing train station and about an hour away from Beijing Capital airport. Distant shown in bookings aren’t quite accurate. Staff is very friendly. Place is beautiful. There is no TV in my room but it wasn’t an issue .

As I had two heavy suitcases, going in and out was quite hard. The courtyard has pebble floor, also her and there little steps, wheeling suitcases in wasn’t easy. Building has only two floors , but No lift, again, heavy suitcase not friendly to go in and out.

From the first step in the hotel you get to an authentic place with an amazing inner garden 😍 The location is perfect, close to the famous Beijing hutongs. There are two metro stations nearby, and it takes about 15 minutes relaxed walk to get Wangfujing. There are some nice shops and amazinf bakeries (like Holiland) nearby. The room is very stilish, with a comfortable bed, huge bathroom with a bathtub. The shower cosmetics are very nice with sophisticated scents. During the breakfast we were offered variety of options. The staff is very friendly and ready to help. We will definitely recommend this place.o

We offered a tea ceremony with a pricey tea (although, it was one of the cheapest in the menu). We were brought just a tea in a pot and a kettle with hot water. There was no ceremony at all: no sweets (although we were shown the images), no demonstration of how the tea is being prepared. I assume it might happen because we were lost in translation, but still.

Very close to Wangfujing and subway station. The hotel is in a Hutong and is therefore very quiet. It is a little paradies in the city center. The beds, pillows and lining were amazing. Staff were trying their best at reception to help.

There was coffee, warm milk and hot water to drink at breakfast, but no tea, nor juice. I have asked for a tea, but the staff said there was no tea. The location of the hotel shown on booking.com is not the one of the hotel. There is a difference of few hundred meters.
