The location is excellent! Staffs are very friendly and helpful! The room is clean and very well-equipped! Definitely will choose this hotel again if I am going to Beijing in the future!

Not about the hotel but if you are going to carry heavy luggage, better go by taxi from the airport as although the metro station is close to the hotel, there is a stair in between two escalators in the station, and it is very challenging to carry the luggage to get to the ground level without help.

Absolutely stellar experience and a big thumbs up. The hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of Beijing, in walking distance to Tiananmen, Forbidden City and the Wangfujing Shopping street. Rooms are nice, clean and cozy. The best thing about the hotel is the staff though. Good English, super friendly and funny and helpful. And they go the extra mile, with little surprises like free fancy tea (from the bubble tea store) or freshly made check-out cookies. We absolutely loved staying at Stey and wouldn’t look somewhere else if we ever come back to Beijing. Thanks for everything, you guys are amazing.

The property was very nice, and in a very convenient Location. Close to Wangfujing Central area, and close to metro stations, as well as many cafes and restaurants close by. We liked the big room and having a couch as well, and being able to control everything from an app was very convenient. From the app we could also set the aircondition, which was nice, and there was a schedule over the room cleaning. There was also some social events in the social area, which was hosted by the ladies in the desk, and it was very nice. The kitchen and ‘living room’ was very nice, and we used it sometimes. The coffee machine, free soda, tea and ice was very nice. The gym and laundry was nice as well.

The only thing I would say was negative was light shining in from the hall, and also the bathroom door was a little stuck, but I mean this is very small things. Also, they would fix the door after we left.

The aparthotel kind of accommodation with a living and kitchen area to chill. Access to coffee and drinking water at the hotel and the location being close to the subway, shopping and restaurants made this place highly desirable. The room itself is of good proportion with an excellent shower and 24/7 hot water supply.

Some basic information for tourists that helps them explore Beijing such as information about the subway system, getting to and from the airport, location of shopping centres and restaurants and other attractions. Outgoing, knowledgeable and friendly reception staff is an additional bonus.

Great location, very spacious room, good communal lounge area. I like the app that you can use to control the AC, lights etc in the room. Although, it would be better if the hotel advised everyone to download and set up your profile before you arrive to the hotel as the wifi is a bit slow and the profile set up takes a good 5-10 minutes. Once you set up your profile it is quick for the hotel staff to assign your room to your account. Free soft drinks, tea, coffee in the lounge on the first floor which is great.

Personal preference is to have clean towels every day but depending on your length of stay they only clean the room and change the towels every two to three days. If you want more than that you have to pay extra.

Stey Wangfujing is a modern, minimalist gem tucked in the heart of Beijing. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the historic Wangfujing shopping street and easily connected to metro stations and local sights. The design is Scandinavian-inspired, clean, and calming, with thoughtful touches throughout. Rooms feel like chic little apartments—smart layout, well-equipped kitchenette, washer/dryer, and great water pressure in the shower. Everything feels intentional and high quality. Staff were friendly, responsive, and spoke good English, which made the stay even smoother. What held it back from being a 10. No breakfast or full-service restaurant on site Some rooms face inward, so limited natural light Limited hotel-style amenities (but that’s part of its concept) *No TV in our room.

The location is near to subway, just 2-3 mins walk away on the left. When turn left from stay, est 10mins walk to another subway and to Wangfujing shopping area. There are eating places near to stay too, very convenient. The stay provides a very comfortable lounge with hot and cold drinks to chill. The room is very clean and comfortable. Spacious area for our luggages. The staffs are all very friendly and helpful, guided me on using the app for booking of transport. Even when we checked out, they went through the trouble to prepare a home baked cookie for us. Very good service. Will definitely recommend to family / friends and return if visiting Beijing again.

The hotel was just as we expected – clean, modern, and in an incredibly convenient location. It was just a short walk to the main Wangfujing Walking Street, only 4–5 minutes to Heytea and the metro station. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the lobby floor, which was conveniently close to the coffee machine and other shared facilities.

The only downside — and the reason I wouldn’t choose to stay again — was the room temperature. It was extremely cold, and the hotel wasn’t able to turn on the heater. The in-room temperature was set to automatic, and we couldn’t adjust it ourselves. I’m not sure if this is common for other hotels during this time of year (we stayed in late March), but I had to wear a jacket in the room at all times or stay wrapped under the bedcovers. After a full day of walking around in the chilly weather, I was really hoping to return to a warm, cozy room.

We had an incredible 8D7N stay at the Stey Wangfujing Hotel, perfectly situated in the heart of Beijing City. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to a Suite Room upon check-in. Special thanks to Ms. Vivi, the lovely staff member who made this possible. Her kindness and attentiveness stood out, especially when she guided us to a nearby pharmacy for medication. As first-time visitors to Beijing, her thoughtful assistance made us feel truly cared for. The hotel impressed us with its modern design and cleanliness. The suite was spacious, equipped with a pantry, and featured advanced technology for controlling lights and air conditioning through an easy-to-use app—a unique and convenient touch. Stey Wangfujing’s shared facilities were equally impressive. The common lounge provided a cozy space to relax, with free-flowing soft drinks, Nespresso coffee, and JING tea. Guests also enjoyed access to a meeting room, kitchen, gym, and laundry facilities, all complimentary. These thoughtful amenities enhanced the comfort and convenience of our stay. The staff at Stey Wangfujing were exceptionally friendly and hospitable, ensuring our experience was smooth and enjoyable. Everything was perfect for a couple’s stay ❤️, except for the WiFi, which didn’t work well, and the TV programs, as most movies or shows required VIP access.

I am a frequent traveller and been to many places, but Stey Wangfujing Hotel is especially nice and I would always come back. The location is great and offers all you need, especially when traveling longer as it provides washer/dryer beside the very helpful personnel, the free coffee and soft drinks, the fast internet (even with the CN limitations), the cosy lounge, the open kitchen and more. I got an upgrade to a suite like room that also got a small kitchen (which was at the end useless, also as there is no kitchen ware, but the fridge was helpful). The location is great to explore Beijing in all 4 directions and the nearby metro station makes it even easier. It is also no noisy as the is not much traffic is this side one-way-road, and at late hours there were almost no people on the street anyhow. There was also no disturbing noises from neighbor rooms, so overall a pleasant stay with comfortable beds and neat and clean. There is nothing to complain about. The free breakfast is just a bagel and a coffee. So good for a first bite, but you need to hit the noodle soup shops and any other restaurant/cafe nearby to get ready for the day.
