Incredibly professional team who know what they do and do it really well. My room was cozy, clean, not overdone in terms of the current trends of having cool stuff ( robots etc) which is exactly what I needed. In my experience, a good hotel is a clean room, friendly and helpful staff, well designed and functional facilities and comfortable bed and pillows. I had them all during my stay.

This is not a criticism to the hotel. I’ve noticed these days there are so many smokers in Beijing and they smoke in their rooms and inside the hotel. I do feel this is a problem all hotels are facing in the city and must be fixed somehow collectively.

Perhaps, hotel could place more bottles of drinking water at common area for customers to self service.

The Sunworld Dynasty Hotel in Beijing is conveniently located in a pedestrian area, few blocks from the Forbidden City (about 30 min walking from the South Gate), where there are few shopping malls and lots of restaurants. Subway is also very close (less than 5 min walking). The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable with a view in the royal palace in the Forbidden city. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was extremely polite and helpful.

There is nothing we dislike, although we regret that part of the hotel was under renovation and the breakfast was served in what was supposed to be a ballroom. Let's say it wasn't the right spot, but the breakfast was delicious.

This hotel was under construction, they were nice anyway, brought us to the room as the entry was a little bit complicate for the first time. They also called us the taxi for the great chinese wall, the driver waited for us and has spoken english. Gave us many tips, as for example, do not try to go to the restaurants at 12:00 and 18:00, that is the time when everyone is eating, so you will have to buy food at seven/11. Also the 90% of the restaurants are in shopping malls, there is one 10 minutes from the hotel on the main walking street. There was no possibility to reserve table in the traditional chinese restaurants, so don't try, they offer you a small chair to sit down and wait for two hours. The position of the hotel is the best possible, if you like to walk you can reach almost anything within 30 to 50 minutes, if not than there is always a taxi, which is not expensive.

The first taxi they called for us was very profesional, drove us to the chinese wall and brought back, younger generation, but the issue was with the second driver they called to bring us to the train station. He spitted every 2 minutes through the window, so called ckearing the throat. He has done it to provoke, not because he had to do it or because it is his tradition. This is the only time i have seen such a thing from a taxi driver in the whole China, they shouldn't call him again to drive the passengers, he gives a very wrong and bad looking to the hotel and Beijing's citizens.

Fantastic hotel with beautiful rooms and very friendly. attentive staff. Location is ideal, one minute walk to the pedestrian street.and 10 minutes walk to the.nearest station on the vast underground rail system. Some points to note - air-conditioning excellent and easy to regulate, bright room with view, beds very comfortable, bathroom had both a shower and bath, lovely indoor swimming pool and gym, secure safe in the room and very easy to use, soundproof walls.

I liked everything but must highlight the staff for particular praise.

Good central location. A shopping mall with restaurants, Starbucks and McDonalds are all a 5 minute walk away and there is a convenience store just around the corner from the hotel entrance. Classic styling. Plenty of space. Check in was easy and the staff showed us to our rooms and transported our bags for us. The spaghetti bolognaise from room service was very tasty.

The restaurants are all currently closed and ordering room service was a little bit difficult due to language barriers. The room service desserts were sold out at 8:30pm. A room service ordering app, perhaps alipay, would be much easier.

The room is clean, simple and modern. Location is convenient, near one of the famous peking duck restaurant and shopping street. Front desk was super helpful! Shoutout to one of the Manager Mr. Carl Deng. I forgot to bring my laptop charger for this trip, he put in extra effort to solve my problem by helping me ordering it online using his app because i cant read chinese its kind of hard for me to navigate. Same goes to when we wanted to go to the science museum where a local china number is needed for the tickets online. Carl help me to solve the problem as well. Thank you so much Carl!

Location -right outside wangfujing street, forbidden city is about 15-20 min walk away. right outside there’s 7-11 and other food stalls. dengshikou metro about 5-10min walk away. excellent location Room - perfect, i got nothing to complain about. housekeeping was excellent and cleaned my room daily. room was spacious for 2 and beds were comfortable. Staff -front office staff were so kind as to let me check in early after my long flight at 1245pm as room was ready. grateful for that! concierge staff were patient to all my requests for booking of great wall, forbidden city tour and even helping me with food delivery order.

Ongoing Renovations: The hotel is currently under renovation, which means the lobby has been relocated. Renovation Odor: A strong smell from the renovations was noticeable along the pathway to the lift and our room, detracting from the overall ambiance. Breakfast Quality: The breakfast buffet did not meet expectations, with limited options and lower quality compared to what you might expect in the area.
