The location of the hotel is near two metro Station, Jinyu Hutlong 300m and Dengshikou station 370m. Breakfast is good.

Our rooms are located too far, and we need to take 3 elevators or 2 elevators plus one stairs. Take the main elevator to level 2, walk to the next building, and take stairs about 2 meters up or small elevators (If you have luggage), walk to another elevator only can go up to your room. The room size is small, not really meet a 4 stars standard

1. The staff at the hotel were able to communicate in English and were very helpful throughout our stay. We had quite a tough time when we arrived at Beijing West train station. It was raining and cold, and getting a Didi was a real challenge. Unlike other train stations we’ve visited, the area for Didi pickups at Beijing West wasn’t systematic or covered, which made it especially difficult during peak hours. We ended up having to take two separate Didi cars since our luggage wouldn’t fit in one. My wife and kids arrived at the hotel first, and the receptionist was extremely helpful—she assisted them and allowed them to check in right away, even before settling the room payment. 2. The location of the hotel was amazing, just a short walk to all the shops and the Forbidden City. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area. Plus, the hotel is close to the metro station, making it easy to get around.

Breakfast- not included but reasonable at 108 CNY for an adult and my daughter had complimentary breakfast. Lots of different options and we were both more than satisfied with the breakfast. We both really liked the room, it's an older hotel but the rooms are spacious and found everything to be in good condition. The location was excellent, we were less than a 10 minute walk to Wanfujing St and could easily grab a Didi whenver was necessary.

The swimming pool was quite cool and the changing rooms had a terrible smell in them (mildew/damp smell). The pool also wasn't super warm, there was an external swimming lesson happening when my daughter wanted to go swimming and the student kept hacking up and spitting at the side of the pool to the point it was extremely off putting and we left the pool area and didn't return again during our stay. The sink in our bathroom also didn't drain which was disappointing.

Exceptional service! We arrived at the hotel on 12 January between 2:30-3pm and had two rooms in our booking. First the receptionist advised us that we will be in separate buildings but then without us asking upgraded us to adjoining rooms. We really appreciated this as it made our stay a lot easier. Then approximately at 3:30pm we went back down again and asked how to visit Forbidden City. The concierge advised us it would be closed as the last entry is at 3:30pm. We went to explore the city anyway but when we came back at 6pm he was there and sat down with us for a whole 45 minutes. He informed us that the hotel can arrange for a driver who would take us as a family of 5 with 3 suitcases to the Temple of Heaven, Summer Palace, a restaurant of choice and then straight to the airport (as he would keep our luggage in the car) all for 1,000 Yuan. When we converted this to our currency it seemed more than reasonable as it included an on call driver and wouldn’t have to worry about our luggage. The concierge also told us how we would be able to communicate with the staff member as he spoke no English, which was very helpful in making the trip go smoothly. We had a lovely day and if were not for this staff member we would not have been able to see any of Beijing. We were unable to catch their names but if the hotel management do see this we would like for them to give the staff member a big thanks from us as he made our visit to Beijing was worth the money. Thanks Novotel Peace for the excellent service and this is definitely somewhere I would come back to if I came to Beijing again, and would recommend other travellers to do so as well.

Great location and really helpful staff. We only stayed for one night but were able to leave our luggage with the concierge for 3 nights whilst we went on to Xi'an. When we returned our luggage was ready and waiting for us to collect. Rooms were good. I did find it difficult to sort the air con and although a choice of pillow I didn't find one that was right for me. But otherwise everything was great. Easy to walk into a large shopping area with plenty of restaurants. And hotel had a good bar and places to buy snacks and food. Definitely recommend.

Really just the smell of cigarette smoke in the corridors. Even though rooms are non smoking it seems guests must smoke in corridors outside rooms.

- Location was fantastic, walking distance to a subway station and pedestrian street - comfortable bed and pillows - breakfast buffet with a good variety and well supplied - room service has good options at a reasonable price - hotel staff support

- air conditioner was ineffective and the room temperature was hot - gym is quite small - smoking odor at non smoking floor, which was fixed by the hotel staff by changing my room - elevator door requires additional sensor - I was heavily hit on my head by the elevator door when carrying my family’s luggage

The location of the hotel is the best, with easy access to Beijing metro. The staff is always help and ready to help. service is quick and hotel is nice and clean. Good value for money. last the hotel is always busy so it must be good.

For some reason I never like Novotel pizza. not in any of the Novotel in China. for me personally blanket too big and hot for summer and for my needs the room could be colder. Obviously the showers does need improvement as there is a big difference from the showers in the from the more luxurious side of the hotel to the standard side. Which for some crazy reasons has better shower bathrooms in my opinion.

The location of the room was in the West Wing which required the use of two lifts but once you got used to this it was fine. The room was good, cleaned every day with new water bottles and tea provided, it was exactly as stated on the site. When we retured two days later we stayed in the main part of the hotel in a bigger room but smaller toilet and shower than previous, but still very comfortable and a great side view of the main shopping area of Wangfujing Street. Overall a very pleasant experience, great help from the concierge with bags and ordering of taxis. The hotel is also conveniently situated within 500m of two major metro stations, Jinyu Hutong (line 8 ) and Dengshikou, (Line 5) which were central to getting around the main sites, also very very cheap to use the metro.

Excellent location for both the sights and the main shopping and restaurant centre. The room had enough space and was very clean.

The mattress is terrible to sleep on, far too hard. The annex is annoying to walk to from the entrance. We also put the do not disturb sign out as we didn’t need cleaning and they came into the room anyway and left lots of replaceable products on the floor. The next day they tried again at 8am whilst we were still in bed. Do not disturb means do not disturb! We do not need new slippers every day!!

Provided with interconnecting rooms which made spacious family accomodation for our time in Beijing. Room staff happy to make the sofas into beds for us. Room service and restaurant was very reasonably priced. Drinking water provided daily. Unlike the description the hotel is slightly closer to Jinyu Hutong Metro stop but both were very convenient. Wangfujing Road and all that comes with it is very close by.
