The location is in the heart of the city, steps away from attractions like the Forbidden City and Wangfujing. The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff are kind and helpful, and I am so happy to have stayed here. It was a phenomenal value. I am especially grateful to the staff members, everyone from the housekeeping staff, front desk team members and restaurant employees were patient, kind and helpful. I would have been lost without them!

The room was a bit hot for my taste, but that may just be because of the intense heat wave. I turned the air conditioning all the way down, while the sensor said the room was 22 C, it felt closer to 24-26. That is perfectly comfortable for most. I still slept comfortably, and any negatives were offset by the great location and customer service.

Fantastic location. Walking distance from Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing Avenue. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel building itself is a historical site and includes a mini gallery outlining its role.

The hotel is a little old. Could be an issue for someone who is picky about things. For me, everything worked perfectly and I had a very comfortable stay. Also it can get crowded outside the hotel, given its proximity to Tiananmen Square.

Room is spacious. Beds comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Helped solve my iPhone problems on arranging tours, communication with my tour guides, booked taxi. Location is excellent, walking to the Great Wall, near subway stations that take us to most of the sightseeing places including the summer palace.

The shower water volume not quite sufficient.

The location just a few minutes walking from the Forbidden City. The staff is very helpful. They changed my room and helped me to buy a new suitcase online. Amazingly it was delivered in 30 minutes. There is an amazing restaurant downstairs with the most delicious pot i ever ate. I highly recommend it.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. On check out day we were able to leave our bags there while we explored and they didnt charge extra. The best thing though is the location. It's central and easy for a didi/uber to pick and drop you off.

Very spacious and quiet, even in the heart of Beijing. Very comfortable beds. The staff spoke very good English and was very helpful in assisting me in getting the most out of my stay.
