The Nuo hotel is making it easy for Western visitors to come back to China for business. Located near the forbidden city with a staff who goes above and beyond, it is a perfect place to stay. I avoided Beijing traffic by walking to most meetings and taking the subway when I had to go farther afield. The managers - both daytime and nighttime - were extremely helpful. I arrived at 2 am and departed at midnight and they arranged the room timing so I didn't have to be waiting in the lobby and got a good night's rest. Services included printing, a nice breakfast and the lead concierge even ordered a supply for me delivered straight to my room. Can't recommend it highly enough.

We loved the old world charm, it was centrally located near Forbidden City etc and the staff were always pleasant and willing to help. Big thanks to Liza and Suzy for friendly and prompt service and a huge thanks to Gary, he manages his 5 star team exceptionally well. Special mention to Luke for his dedication and care.

Our only comment was that there wasn’t any information about the hotel or surrounding area in the room. We’re aware that it was on the TV and website but a handy information pack would have helped. The only complaint was that the fridge was at room temperature and couldn’t be adjusted.

The concierge, Coolio // Lee, was amazing. There is: doing a great job, going above and beyond and then there is: 'Coolio level service' , he was amazing. Helped me not only booking some of the key spots that I needed reservation for , to see in Beijing. He helped me with taxis, restaurants. He was honestly awesome. And the hotel is great, I only stayed for one night but the room was great, clean, everything and anything you need in it and more. The view is just the avenue that goes into Tiananmen square but !! that is the whole point!! the location is fantastic! right next to the Forbidden city and Tiananmen square. Really great ! The hotel staff even packed my breakfast for me to take with me at 2am, as I was going on my tour to the Great Wall. I would definitely stay there again !

Everything was great.

The location was perfect. It is within short walking distance to national museum, forbidden city, wangfujing etc. There are a lot restaurants near the hotel. The staffs were very helpful, they helped me shipped my two luggages to my parents in China without need going out of the hotel with very reasonable shipping cost. When I first booked the hotel, I was told there was no fridge in the guest room, however when I finally checked in 3 months later, there was a mini fridge in the room. We noticed that the fridge seemed not working well, after I noticed the front desk, right away, someone was sent to our room to check, and replaced it with another one. Also, on the first morning we stayed there, I noticed that a wall socket which I need for hair dryer did not work, again after I reported to the front desk, a lady came to check and called services and had it fixed in minutes. The beds were very comfortable, both shower and bath were good, room was spacious, very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. My husband said that I had made an excellent choice for the hotel.

The room was a bit too warm for us when we stayed there in late of March. We understand it may be because we are more tolerable of coldness than hotness since we are from Canada.

This is an excellent hotel, perfect in every way. The location is perfect, right at Wanfujing Street. The room was huge and the bathroom beautiful. The bed spectacularly huge and comfortable. But what really stands out is the staff. They were incredibly helpful and very good at booking restaurants and everything else that needs booking - and excellent advice. Will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Beijing. Also the breakfast fabulous and a bargain at the price.

It was all perfect.

The rooms are spacious, the beds are amazingly comfortable and clean, they change sheets every single day. The bathroom was also big and comfy. The location is good if you wanna do shopping, there is a mall inside the hotel and also another one across the street. The staff was super nice and helpful, they don't speak English very well but we communicated through translator and they were super helpful and nice.

The hotel is quite old so take that as you may, it wasn't much of an issue for us.

The location is the best. Walking distance to the national museum, forbidden city and just a stone throw from Wang Fujing. The new rooms we selected are spacious and beautiful.

We actually upgrades our rooms from Deluxe to Elite. The deluxe rooms are located at the old wing which I do not quite recommend as the furnishing are dated and there is no shower head (only rain shower). Go for the Elite rooms even if they are much more costly.

Excellent location and really cool that it was right next to the Beijing Hotel and Wangfujing shopping street. Clean and nice, super comfortable slippers were provided by the hotel. English-speaking staff upon checkout which was very helpful. Had a great stay in a fine room. Interestingly the pins for chargers were of the type used in EU and Hong Kong, respectively, which worked very well for us.

Hotel charged a deposit in addition to the cost of the stay which was not clear to me on check-in but became clear at check-out.

The location was perfect and the personnel was absolutely fantastic! Very kind, very helpful, most of them don't speak English but always try to assist you. We would like to make a special mention to Ksenja who was extremely helpful and professional. She also helped us to resolve a strange problem with Didi via Alipay and that was very important for us. Many thanks also to Willis Pan who assisted us in buying our tickets for the Peking Opera. Surprisingly, he used his own card because our cards did not work via Ali pay.Thank you very much all!

The hotel is located right next to the famous Wang Fu Jing walking street and so it is convenient to travel / walk around. The Hotel is big, room although look a bit old-fashioned (not sure whether it is the design), but the room is very clean and spacious. The bed is comfy. It has gym room at another annexed building. Check in and check out is fast.
