Well located , near Beijing main attractions

The fact that they demand a deposit of 500 yuan , something that you're not told until you arrive at the hotel

I arrived at the hotel very early, the staff happily allow me to do early check in and upgrade my booking for free in a very fast pace. What more should i ask for, for sure hope to return again to this hotel.

I stayed for 1 week and overall I'm very happy with my stay at Inner Mongolia Grand hotel. Building is big and impressive. Entrance is good. Rooms are appropriate size. Furniture is a bit dated (nothing bad), but overall room and atmosphere are comfortable. Air Conditioning worked fine in my room. Breakfast is great, with plenty of options, nice seating arrangement and staff is always willing to help. At reception, I was able to find staff who spoke English and same is the case during breakfast. They also surprised me by placing a cake and a card in my room on my Birthday (I wasn't expecting). Location is not bad, 2 nearest subway stations on either side, one around 500m (Dongdan) and other around 800m (Chongwenmen). You can walk to these stations. I was even fine to walk till WangFuJing street (probably around 2 km away from hotel) and other central tourist places.

They could improve cleaning of bathroom.

The property is a great location, very accessible and close to the Metro station. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and the staff was very helpful, professional and courteous. The breakfast buffet that was included with my stay was great, good variety of food both Chinese traditional and western cuisine. The view from my room window was great, I was facing north with a view of the metro station and the main interception and mall. I had a magnificent stay and recommend this hotel to anyone wanting good comfort and value.

Excellent location, easy access to subway stations (lines 5, 2, 1 - around 5-7 min walking). Breakfast had a really good selection (there was mainly Chinese food, but there was also a continental buffet). Room was spacious. The only one real drawback that personnel speak no English. Even people at the counter couldn’t speak.

Hotel is taking deposit on arrival! Few days after my arrival home I still didn’t receive it back. It’s completely unnecessary thing as other hotels are not requiring deposit.

The hotel has great position, very near to the Subway Line 1- station Dongdan, Exit G and not to the Beijing railway station like it is written on Booking. It is real example of one hotel with 4 star, very professional, clean, good service, breakfast good - nothing special but good, bed is great, bad is little bit old but all in all, great relationship between given/received.

Great location, 7 min walk to the Dongdan metro station (line 1 and 5). Hotel is reached from the airport in about 1 hour with one transfer. 12 min walk to Orient Plaza mall and 22 min walk to the big Wangfujing shopping area. All major attractions are easilily reachable by metro. Big room. It is clean and super quiet. Good bed, good shower and good aircon. Did not try the wifi or tv. Tea and coffee making facilities in room with two free bottles of water each day. It is a big hotel with luxurious feeling lobby. Lots of business people. Couple of shops in the hotel with clothing and souvenirs. Fairly large breakfast buffet with warm meals 9 (fried rice, mie) but also 'continental breakfast' with bread, croissants, bacon and egg, orange juice, tea and coffee, fruit. I got there at 12:00, checkin is at 14:00 but they got me a room right away. English speaking staff at the reception and in the restaurant.

Ran out of sugar at the tea/ coffee nook in the room. Everything else was fine.

The hotel is located in Dongdan, central Beijing very close to line 1 & 5 and close to the major sights. I have stayed here before as it is very relaxed. The metro at 250 m makes it easily accessible from the airport. I was checked in without fuss earlier than I expected and this was a bonus. The breakfast was wide ranging and excellent with a huge choice. The hot food selection was very good.The coffee is very good but the machines should be replaced. In the evening Lohas bar was nice for relaxing with some beer and dumplings. The nearby shop had a wide range of foods and items and was very handy for picking up juices and water before rambling around the city. Of interest, the robotic coffee machine was amusing.

Minor issue with desk that juts out in the room but otherwise an excellent hotel and room.

The hotel is in a strategic location near metro 1 and 5 and Wangfujing. The room is spacious with a big window and comfy bed. The bathroom is big as well, and the shower has a very good pressure and the water is immediately warm. They provide a good amount of towels. Everything was clean and they supplied water bottles every day. Also breakfast is good and varied.

Unfortunately, there is a lingering smell of smoke in every part covered with carpets, in the room as well. The staff doesn't understand and speak English well.
