Its a very nice hotel - the hotel staff is very cooperative and helpful. Overall a good experience and would probably stay another time too.

The reception and room handling staff wasnt very cooperative. The ACs are centralized so doesnt matter how humid the room gets, you have to live with it. Additionally, I have issues with rooms being farther from the lift and I need an external window to the room to which the staff showed least concerned and were not willing to, and did not change the room for it.

Very good location, Chongwenmen Line 2& 5 brings you right in front of the hotel , if you follow exit A2. Hotel looks ok, , clean, with very posh lobby. Very comfortable bed and pillows with different level of softness. Food was OK, seems expensive in rapport with prices around but OK if comparing to Europe. I had some issues at the checkin with the receptionist who got flustered by the different price shown of booking and the one she just charged. Thick , Chinese accent, which made communication extremely difficult, seemed to get confused more when tried to use the translator gadget. I didn’t understand at the time what was going on as I asked her to help me with a SIM card issue. She asked help from the nearby colleague, which didn’t want to get involved. She than went at the back and brought another staff, maybe her boss? When I saw her name , I knew she’ll sort out everything. I saw in reviews before the name Julia coming up, which is an absolute godsend. Julia is absolutely fantastic, her English is flawless, she sorted out all the issues and made sure I have her on the WeChat to contact her if I need any help. Her help is invaluable for foreign tourists.

There is a constant cigarette smell throughout the hotel, but not surprising seeing so many smokers around. There was some issue to fix I guess and a maintenance guy showed up at my door @11pm . I think he was given a wrong room number.

Thank you for making our stay so comfortable. The only 2 negative feedback is that 1) there are many smoking customers. I guess that is beyond the control of the hotel. We could smell the smoke from within our room for several nights. The staff helped to suggest opening the windows, and allowed us to change our room but that didn't help, I think there are too many customers disregarding the non-smoking policy. 2) the air-conditioning was too cold. When we asked for help, we were told the temperature was central controlled and couldn't be adjusted from within the room. However, the hotel did great at many other aspects. The location is wonderful, right at the doorstep of the train station (with line 2 and line 5) and walking distance (about 10min) to malls with supermarkets and the delicious 便宜坊烤鸭. The front desk gave us an option of an upgrade of room at a small fee, allowed us to see both rooms before we made our choice. Room service was wonderful, special mention of 党俊英 who was very attentive. I'm impressed she took notice of many details of our preferences, even the way I like my bed made. She helped with our requests of extra bottles of water, extra towels, and always asked what else we needed whenever we met her along the corridor. The hotel kitchen also sent up utensils when we needed them for our takeaway food. Breakfast could also be taken out when we didn't want to eat in the dining hall, they gave us takeaway boxes for us to pack what we wanted, they would also pack you breakfast if you didn't want to do it yourself. Overall a very enjoyable stay and we enjoyed our holiday. thank you all working at 新侨饭店！

One of the best strategic locations in city central. MRT station in front of the hotel as well as various shopping malls and michelin level cafe and noodle restaurants. Not far from Beijing Central Station. Our executive twin bed room was very good.⁰0

We dissapointed about deposit policy. Due to very busy big group check in on Sat Feb 1, 2025, when the reception asks for deposit, due to language barrier, we were suggested to deposit via our credit cards from direct hotel booking. When check out Feb 3, we did not obtain written receipts on the excess of the deposit charge to credit cards. While previously, we obtained hotel receipts that was charged from booking.com. The response from the reception was take it or leave it. Very dissapointed.

Location was great. We came in by taxi when our flight arrived early hour in the morning, pleasantly surprised to have our room upgraded foc. Staff were all friendly & helpful in every way. On different days, they helped to book & buy tickets to various attractions, bcos our overseas phone numbers do not allow us to do so on wechat. We opted out of hotel breakast, there were really nice breakfast options just across the street. Thank you XinQiao!! We had a great stay!

Centrally located; quiet rooms; courteous and prompt service when requested; clean rooms; the executive family suit is very convenient for families (with two bathrooms and sleeping quarters at different levels); the breakfast was always fresh with plenty of selections (both Western and traditional Chinese choices)

The furniture shows wear and tear; the lobby area could have more seats and resting places.

Xinqiao hotel is well located with easy access to Beijing's metro and a short walk to local supermarkets, department stores, a first class bakery and many other essentials. The hotel's rooms are spacious, clean and the thermal spring water in the showers)baths make it a rejuvenating stay. The staff are friendly and if I ever visit Beijing again I will stay again.

We didn't stay long enough to try the different restaurants inside.

Location was very good, comfortable bed and the rooms are well equipt with everything you need.

Bar closed at 9pm! No info on tours or how to get around. Very little English spoken by any of the staff, very difficult to communicate with them especially when all social media and google translate is cut off, not hotels fault, but a National thing.

Julia at the reception desk kindly helped me by making a reservation to go to Tiananmen Square. Such a reservation is required to visit the square and it can only be made if you have a Chinese phone number. Without Julia's help, I would not have been able to visit the square and the buildings there.

When I was checking out, people were cutting in line at the reception desk. The staff at the reception desk should have pointed out to those people that there is a line.
