i love everything about the grand hyatt and so did my wife. we were very satisfied with our stay.

i was a little disappointed that we were assigned the east wing of the hotel and the swimming area that my family enjoyed was on the west wing. i would think that hotel staff would know how to place their family reservations appropriately, but i am sure that a famous hotel like the Grand Hyatt would receive plenty of reservation. now that i know this, i will try to ask to be booked at the west wing of the building.

Great location (short walk to Wang Fujing shopping street, walking distance to Tiananmen and Forbidden city), good breakfast and very helpful staff. Despite some hiccups in arranging for 3 rooms to be located at the same floor which i requested during the time of booking (3months earlier), the hotel staff managed to made it up for my family with 1 room and 1 apartment at the same floor. The apartment was an upgrade! Appreciate this very much

Some visible water leakage from the shower room to the toilet which we highlighted, hope the hotel will take care of it.

The Grand Hyatt Beijing has a fantastic, unbeatable location and is very convenient to go to all attractions such as Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven etc. The mall accessible at the basement level is also very convenient for food and shopping, and you can get to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street through the mall. The staff of Grand Hyatt are very helpful, efficient, and attended to needs immediately. The rooms are a little dated but there are many great features such as thermostat to control room temperature in each room, separate shower and bathtub, big comfortable bed and a good amount of space (important for families planning longer stays!). I would stay at the Grand Hyatt again. Definitely recommended.

Nothing major. Bathroom faucets (shower and sink) were stiff. Pillows a little too soft. Wish there were wall hooks for winter coats and bags.

We had an amazing time at this hotel! The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from the famous Wangfujing Street, and directly connected to the Oriental Plaza mall, which made shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Everything you need is right at your doorstep! We stayed in the Premier King Room (their renovated room), and it exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, spotless, and had a stunning view. The concierge team was exceptional. They were always friendly, helpful, and spoke English very well. A special thanks to Ms. Yulia, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Her kindness and attention to detail made a big impact. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Beijing. Great location, amazing rooms, and service!

The water pressure in the shower could have been better.

The magnificent Grand Hyatt Beijing left the most pleasant impressions, so much so that I wanted to leave a review! We were checked into a room with a fresh and modern renovation. The hotel's location is extremely convenient, as it is in close proximity to Wangfujing Street and the Forbidden City. Separately, I would like to note the exceptional hospitality of the reception staff. Guest relations agent, Yulia, was beyond praise! She not only provided detailed information about the hotel but also offered invaluable assistance in navigating the city in strong winds, advising on what was open and what was closed. Her kindness and willingness to help made my stay even more comfortable. The work of the concierge team also deserves the highest praise. They always greeted and saw us off with a smile and were ready to help with any question. Breakfasts at the Grand Hyatt Beijing are a separate story! A huge selection of dishes for every taste, all fresh and very delicious. Starting the day with such a breakfast was a true pleasure. Overall, the Grand Hyatt Beijing is a hotel I would love to return to. The combination of renovated rooms, modern amenities, exceptional service, and an excellent location makes it an ideal choice for a stay in Beijing. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The property is just what we needed. It is well appointed, in a great location and really benefits from the adjoining mall that is helpful if you need shopping, ATM etc. Also, the extra benefits and facilities of the Club level which come with the higher end rooms is worth it for longer stays. That said, the stand out thing about this hotel is the staff. Everyone was helpful - and as a westerner in China this is invaluable. We send our special thanks to Concierges Daniel & Scott, and of course Yulia and Alice on Reception. Without you our stay in Beijing would have been much harder.

We are a family of three, staying in the two-bedroom suite on the club floor in the new wing. The room is spacious and comfortable, and it feels like home. Everything is well thought out in the room: the facilities, hardware, fixtures, and even the toilets. Everything is top-notch. We really love the room and highly recommend it to families who want a quiet room with an excellent view of the Forbidden City. The breakfast on the club floor is excellent.

Nothing! Everything was perfect, and I don't usually say that. The bed was super comfortable, and I slept great every night I was there. We stayed a total of 5 nights with two seniors. It was so comfortable for them.

-location fantastic, very close to Oriental Plaza where we eat and shop; -check in process not ideal but then our problem been fixed, so I rate it good; -breakfast superior in value, service staff is indifferent, Balcony restaurant receptionist rude; -initial room we booked small than expected, but hotel upgraded us with little extra money, it turns out to be perfect! -swimming pool is better than anywhere we stay, I rated it superior -bathroom and shower all very modern, clean and comfortable, it is one of the best hotels we have stayed -hotel give us change so it is convenient and thoughtful -hotel car which takes us to the airport is fancy and clean, comfortable, driver not talk

Hyatt is s grest 5* asset. The location is perfect for the historical centre. Rooms are huge. Staff is efficient. This is a large hotel in a busy large city, so do expect a fair bit of crowding.

There is no ATM in the entire hotel! We needed some local currency (Yuan) to pay for a taxi, but the only thing the concierge could offer was to get us to walk to a nearby bank branch. We walked for about 15 minutes, got lost and were about to miss our flight. When we got back it turned out that there is a cash exchange machine on site. I wish we were told earlier... Other than this incident, the hotel is great.

1. No Muslim menu. 2. Egg station uses same spade to cook egg with ham/pork and plain egg. Not hygienic. Please consider separate spade/tool. 3. Wall electrical socket is not the 3 pin Singapore type. Consider at least one 3 pin socket Singapore type on bedside table.
