One of the best accommodations I have stayed in China, hotel rooms look very new, breakfast had a lot of variety, Chinese style and also Western options, the staff was friendly and polite. The nearest subway station is Dongsi, approximately 10min walk. Definitely a recommended option to stay in Beijing!

To mention something, room has no safety box, but no big deal.

The hotel was well located, and within walking distance to shops, and many attractions in Beijing like Forbidden City and Tianmen Square. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of choices served each morning. I appreciated that several plates differed day to day and a nice balance of both Western and Chinese food. I worked remotely throughout the week and WIFI was fast and efficient. Rooms were spacious and clean. Oh and free laundry was greatly appreciated. All in all, a great stay and I was happy with our choice.

Cleanliness of the hotel could have been taken up a notch. It was good, but not excellent especially in regard to vacuuming of the carpet in the hotel. But this was a minor point. For longer stay guests, having some sort of complimentary snack and drink would have been nice as well especially since there is not an onsite restaurant.

I loved this hotel. It was in the hutongs an older part of Beijing we enjoyed walking through these streets we felt very safe. The staff at the hotel were great they helped us with ordering taxis and also with the free laundry they have a Chinese app so just need to ask the front desk staff to put the machines on for you. The breakfast had a great selection. Had no trouble with taxis dropping us at the hotel. The tour minibus was the only time they had to drop us at the end of the road as the streets are too narrow but it's only a short walk. Would defiantly stay at this hotel again there are many restaurants around the area.

Really good hotel, staff was always ready to help and we had a really good time there. The breakfast was great, really prepared for foreigns that are not used to Chinese food. I really enjoying the stay.

The room had a cigarette smell, clearly someone some previous guest was smoking inside, nothing too unbearable but it was noticeable every time we entered the room. Also there was a construction right across the street so one day when I wanted an afternoon nap it was difficult with the noise, but always very silent at night.

Staff was nice, breakfast was quite decent for the price point of the hotel. Location was relatively close to downtown.

Nice, modern hotel and quiet area. Good location as a base for seeing the city. Major sights easily reached by rental bike, or a 10 min walk from Dongsi underground station, with the airport fast train 2 stops away. Out of the hotel you are immediately in the peaceful hutongs, with interesting bars and shops to be found if you're prepared to explore a bit. My room (6th floor) was clean and well appointed, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet offers a good mix of Chinese and western options.

No complaints with the hotel, I enjoyed my stay. Useful info for some guests - no personal safe in the room. A late change of my travel dates was made complicated by booking.com customer service, but the hotel responded well when contacted directly to resolve it.

The staff, although they do not speak English, were helpful and very polite. They use translation app to help and give information when it is needed. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. We like that there are different options for pillow to have desired comfort.

The breakfast was okay, but better to pay attention on freshness of the products. I tried croissant 2 times on different days, and both of the times it was stone hard. I can imagine that not everybody consumes it as it is more Western breakfast option. But the hotel still has lots of Western guests visiting Beijing. So, I think it is better to put less croissants each morning and refresh the plate every morning.

The hotel is in a good location, in a quiet area (fu tong), about 600m from the Donsi metro station. Clean hotel, spacious and clean rooms, friendly staff who unfortunately do not speak much English, but communication is still possible with the help of their (Chinese) translator application. The breakfast at the hotel is exceptional, in my opinion better than some 5* hotels.

The only complaint is the fact that there is no classic wardrobe in the rooms, which is not a problem for a short stay.

Nice hotel, good breakfast, original location (close to hutongs). Great plus is free laundry machines - very handy! Staff is very friendly and kind, unfortunatelly English is a challenge (good to have translation apps :)). Next to the hotel are many restaurants.

Name on the map is Lishi Hotel, so it was a bit confusing at the beginning. And closest metro is 15mns walking.
