Great location close to a subway station, easy to be found when walking from there (even with luggage). We really appreciated the clerk who check us in to the room. Not sure how it happened, but somehow we were initially overcharge - about 8 euro more than we were supposed to (I think regular vs Genius rate). We just came from a long flight so I didn't realise and we moved along to the room. The check in employee then came pro-actively to our room (about 10 mins later), apologised multiple times and refunded us the differences, which was credited immediately to our Mastercard (yes, visa/mastercard is working here). Overall a great experience in a clean (and I think new?) hotel, that also allowed us to check out later (2pm!), much appreciated after our very late check in at 7am.

We arrived on a Shanghai winter morning, there were very strong and cold winds in the area. As we were staying on one of the higher floors we could hear the winds going around the building and our room, which was also hard to get heated that morning.

good location. we received an upgrade at the reception. the room was BIG, comfortable, modern. bathroom was huge with walkin shower. our room was at higher floor with all glass wall and beautiful view. complementary tea and bottled water in the room as well as at the reception. breakfast was excelent, wide variety of foods (hot and cold). We were there during Bebinca typhoon and the personnell was very helpful during whole time. Receptionist helped us beyond what was neccessary - arranged taxi where we could pay in euros to take us to the airport during peak of the typhoon. AMAZING service, thanks

Check in was definitely breezy! The staff were so nice to allow us slightly early check-in. Room was indeed spacious compared to Japan or South Korea. Breakfast was fuss-free. For us Muslims, I’m glad there’s options for non-meat, cereals and the home made soy milk was superb. Going to the city center was easy! Didn’t even know it was the same line that goes to Pudong Airport. Tangzhen, awesome location.

I wish I knew how bad internet control is for China. Nonetheless, not the hotel’s fault. Exhausted 6GB of e-sim data over 3 days

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was very spacious and comfortable, perfect for resting after a long day of travel. At the reception, Lucas assisted me, and he was incredibly kind and attentive. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the metro line. Even though everything is in Chinese, it’s actually very easy to use. It takes around 40 minutes by metro from the airport to the hotel, and if you want to explore downtown Shanghai, you can take the same line and be in the city center in about 40 minutes as well. Super accessible, especially if you’re on a short trip like me and want to see Shanghai in just one day.

Great location from Pudong airport and to get into the sightseeing areas like Nanjing Road, all on the same subway line. There is a mall and shops close to the hotel and restaurants and convenience stores. Hotel is only a 10 min walk from Tangzhen subway, fine to do with luggage. The breakfast buffet was great, lots of selection for any palate and appetite, the espresso from the machine was great. Comfortable sized rooms and linen and bathrooms, beds were comfy. The staff were helpful and spoke very good English. I also took the free shuttle bus to Disneyland at 7am which was a good service. I would stay here again and would recommend.

The room and bathroom especially smelt of cigarette smoke, like it was coming through the vent. It was unpleasant though I eventually got used to it. I wasn’t in the room long enough to need to change bedrooms.

Very good location, only a few stops from the airport on the metro and also direct into the city centre on the same metro line (line 2). Room is very spacious and the bed is huge. Breakfast is a great spread with lots of delicious choices. Info on how to get from the metro to the hotel (as it can be difficult to navigate China) - take the metro to tangzhen station, go out of exit 1 and turn left, walk until you see Lawson convenience store and then turn left again, keep walking past 7/11 and walk sort of straight and to the right, you will see a McDonald's, turn left again and keep walking left past McDonald's until you see a bridge, turn right and cross the bridge. Once you find the bridge you should definitely see the hotel.

The level of English of the staff isn't so great but that's generally not too much of an issue. There was a slight cigarette smell in the bathroom and the water pressure for the shower was a bit disappointing.

Complimentary breakfast was good, some local and Western food was there. Reception staff was really helpful, especially those who can speak English (young man and young lady). Another staff use portable translator which is best gadget. We were happy to see the robot who can bring amenities to your room very quickly. In room we saw clean bed lines and towels + full amenities cans (shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, hair conditioner). Subway station within 5 min by light walk and there nice tea shop and convenient store

Smoking neighbours, need to kick them off from hotel from the firs time smell smoke. Swimming pool does not look fresh, better do not use it

Clean and modern hotel, smooth check-in, staff tried to help although some had very limited English. Room was clean and spacious, the children were able to sleep on the sofa bed in the family room. Fridge in the room if wanted for water. Free bottled water. Excellent breakfast with great noodle/soup bar. Location excellent, about 5 minutes walk from the metro station which is about 35 minutes to People’s Square on the number 2 (Green) line. Good selection of restaurants within about 2 minutes walk including Haidilao and a fantastic Mongolian skewer place. Excellent shopping centre above Tangzhen station. Decathlon next to the hotel.

The swimming pool was part of a separate private gym, we went to use it but it was very busy with swimming lessons for kids so we decided not to.

1. Location - walking distance to Metro station, Starbucks and what seems to be a small shopping centre. 2. Breakfast - options were more on local (Chinese) style, not many selections for Continental/western style beyond the basic. 3. Room size - a bit tight for 2 adults, but still acceptable (enough room to lay 2 small-medium size suitcases, and a small writing table to put personal belongings), adequate bathroom size too. 4. Front office was helpful with calling taxis in the morning.

1. Cleanliness can be improved - during our stay, used mug was not cleaned by housekeeping. Beds were not properly made. 2. No proper lighting, whether in bathroom or in bedroom, to put on basic makeup.

Breakfast was great with variety of vegetables. Staff was very courteous and helpful. There are restaurants at short walk. Room was spacious except for lack of cupboards. Bathroom is a good size with a nice shower. Fascinating to see the delivery robot coordinating with the lift, room call etc. for doing the room service!

Only issue if I had to mention something would be the location as it was away from the city center
