The building itself and the surrounding is beautiful! The staffs are really proactive in rendering assistance. The best customer service, respond to queries and assistance even through booking.com, within minutes! When we first arrived, the driver drop us off at the wrong location. The driver stayed with us after realising that it is not the lobby (hotel has many different building of hotel rooms within the property). I messaged the hotel through booking.com and IMMEDIATELY the driver received a call from them with directions. So convenient with shuttle to airport and disneyland. A must stay for relaxing.

Very elegant hotel on a large area of land. All of the buildings have a traditional style, with really nice gardens and walkways. It's very quiet and peaceful, and right next to a river. Very close to the airport. Free shuttle bus to the airport picked us up right outside the front door of the hotel. Metro close by. Our room had 2 opening windows, one had an additional screen door to stop insects which was great to have. Breakfast was good - buffet style, a lot of food options and variety of juices.

The individual room descriptions list all facilities, not just the ones for your room, which made our arrival a bit disappointing because it said "balcony and terrace", but our room had neither. Staff need to smile more! They generally have very plain expressions even when you talk to them. The young lady at the restaurant front desk had a constantly vacant expression every day, even if you smiled at her. A very tall young man handling the bags smiled once during our 4 night stay. Not a big issue, but feels a bit odd! No other issues.

Rooms great with all necessary comfort and stylish bathroom, large swimming pool, splendid gardens and houses

Unfortunately there was no pickup from airport possible after 9pm as my plane was delayed. My personal experience with didi was terrible as 3 requests were not delivered to (only the 4th car was serious) and so it took me in total 3 hours (arriving 1 am night time :( ). It would surely have been better if the hotel could have organised this I would not have had such a bad experience.

All buildings are beautiful and look authentic. Breakfast is great, the rooms are big and comfortable. We didn't have much time to enjoy it because we stayed only a few hours, but we may go back again.

The hotel is supposed to accept foreign guests, so I would expect at least minimal english knowledge. This is the reason for the minus one point.

location was a easy if you used didi. very close to Disney but not as close to the main area of Huangpu

A little less english speaking than I would have liked for international guests breakfast would be better served until 10am instead of 9.30am

This property is exceptional. The grounds, the staff, the rooms and the facilities are all beyond expectations. The staff couldn't do enough to help in any and every way they could, going over and beyond to ensure our stay was as care free as possible. We will definitely recommend and return here when next in shanghi.

Large, safe, clean.

Breakfast was disappointing, just basic items. When it ended, we felt like we were being rushed out of the dining area. There wasn’t anything to do nearby the hotel, it’s in a business area far from restaurants and markets.

Beautiful gardens. Amazing decor! Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient shuttle bus. Great buffet breakfast! Lots of amenities. Family friendly.

Buildings and room are nice. Staff are polite and pleasant.

Location is remote. Quite pricey.

The property was simply outstanding.
