I liked the grand entrance, the comfortable rooms. Was close to Jilong Road Metro station which was good to use to go in and out of the city.

I did not like the room was super dark, even with all the lights on. Did not like the concierge attitude , as he was not helpful at all. He simply wanted to finish the conversation with out providing me a solution. Which is a shame, because you would consider your own hotel staff to be as friendly and helpful as your family in a foreign land. But I found people on the roads were more friendly than the hotel concierge during the day shift. The Spa service was really below standard for such as establishment. There are no shops close to the property to purchase fruits , etc.

We loved our stay, the staff were so helpful even helping us tell taxi drivers where to go for our early morning flight which took a lot of stress out of it, because there's a language barrier. Our room was so stunning, and absolutely huge. It's totally my fauly for not looking up the location properly, as it was 40 min taxi from The Bund etc, but it was really easy to get to the airport via taxi which is what we needed for our overnight layover in Shanghai. Overall, it was wonderful!

Nothing, everything and everyone was great!

The room was spacious and clean. The interior design is neat and up to the standard for Marriott. The location is right next to the subway station where you can commute to the airport and high speed railway station quickly. The breakfast has many choices in the buffet. The cleaning staff are energetic, courteous, and proactive.

The AC was broken and when I requested it to be repaired, the staff came in delay to the point the room temperature hiked up to 30 celsius degree when outside temperature was around 10. I eventually requested to change to a different room and they reluctantly agreed.

Location and friendliness

Our first room had a water leak and the curtain between the bathroom and sleeping area wouldn't shut. Our replacement room was decent, but the beds and pillows are not very comfortable.

New facilities, good swimming pool, spacious and clean rooms, close to a metro station

Unfriendly personnel No supermarkets around ATMs, money exchange etc. do not work there

I didn't opt for the breakfast as the price was steep at RMB 200/day . Otherwise everything was good but far away from Central Shanghai. The decor both inside the room and on the lobby was good

I like the room very comfortable furnishings. Large bathroom.

Breakfast is vast and varied. Not all perfect, but generally quite satisfying! Salad bar was really good Cleaning staff are really efficient - The pool is nice, even if starting to show it's age. Very close to the metro stop!

VERY disappointed in the lounge. We booked a Club room to get access to Lounge services, we know we are still under COVID rules, but if Lounge services are offered, we expect a 5 star Sheraton to go the extra mile to welcome Club customers. This was not the case - we were stuck in the breakfast area for all lounge services, a basic canteen with broken coffee machines, very little variety in drinks, and basically no service. Other Lounges in other hotels clearly make an extra effort to welcome customers because of changes in lounge location - not here though. We felt like and after-thought to the staff.

The breakfast, bar and the club lounge must be improved.
